Chapter:6:Fooling Myself

I took a deep breath looking at the sunrise, Maybe it will be a new start.

"Why do you send Aarav? How much hurt do you want to give her?" I heard Charles' calm voice

"Ever going to learn to knock?" I asked as inhaled into the pipe

"She is still a kid Kai. Have you not realized that? She can't know about Aarav" I kept the pipe down and turned towards Charles.

"You just can't keep assuming her as a kid when she has a kid," I said

"Her kid? Aurelia is her kid huh?" I stopped in my tracks as I heard him. No, he doesn't mean that

"What do you mean?" I tried to keep calm

"You think I don't know that Aurelia is your daughter? Or how you never intended to marry my sister?" I stood there. Frozen.

"Kai I care for you, My sister did too. Stop punishing yourself and her" Charles left the room after giving a one last glance and a pat on my shoulder. Who am I fooling all these years?
