I’m Princess Rain

The path of the stream broadened the more Rain followed it and she couldn't be more certain she was nearing the lake.

Before the sun had fully been tucked in by the clouds, she finally emerged from the forest and was amazed to meet lit scenery.

A stone throw from where she stood, people hurried about their business in a bid to beat the night, oblivious to her presence.

Shouts, laughter, talks, clings, clatter and hoots, filled the air as she approached.

The harbor of the Titan Lake. The bedrock of traders, travelers and criminals.

The port wasn't set far off and could be sighted from a distance. Cargoes were been loaded and offloaded, and crowd of people trooped to and fro the port's pier, bearing the weight of loads, hawking loudly, boarding and alighting from ships or merely wandering aimlessly.

It all exuded an atmosphere of impatient vigor and intentions hidden in the urgency of the evening and drowned with the bustling.
