Locations that 20 years ago used to be big cities or bustling urban centers are now just silent, weathered, and dusty ruins.
The few big cities that governments didn't often bomb to stop Transcendent infestations were slowly taken over by nature over the years, and so the monochrome jungles made of skyscrapers and gigantic buildings were consumed by nature again.
On the other hand, the cities that were bombed became ruins that can barely bear any resemblance to a city of the past. Some of these places are now just deserts that quickly got forgotten from the radiation.
