Chapter 128 - Persecution
Kaito knows that among the Oshi Auction House's most regular customers there are many individuals from other floors and even beyond, but he never imagined that when he managed to escape through the front door of the auction house, he wouldn't be chased by the guards, but by one of these bigwigs.
A girl, who appears to be only a few years older than Kaito, with blue hair and silver armor, rushes after him.
"Hold it right there, rogue!" She shouts, and the metallic sound of her armor reverberates.
Kaito is holding Yulia in his arms and is therefore a little slower than his maximum, which is a big problem. What's more, he recognizes what his pursuer is by the emblem on the chest of her armor. She's a Holy Knight from Floor 7 of the Holy Church, an affiliate of the Church of Light on the first ten floors.
'Did I really have to meet one of these guys just now?' Kaito thinks indignantly.
