Chapter 6: Killing a servant

The more time that passed, the more desperate Reif becomes. His face was already completely pale as if all of his blood escapes his body

Insanity was even threatening to sprout in his mind. He needs Rhash! He needs his light!

They only spent a single week together but Reif doesn't want to return to the darkest days of his life!

In desperation, Reif grabbed the wrist of a servant tightly. "Where is my Big Brother?! Have you seen him?!"

Reif currently looks insane to the servant's eyes. His eyes were bloodshot while his whole body was shaking. There were even several scratch marks in his body that were leaking out fresh blood

The servants have a bad impression of Reif. Seeing him acting like this makes them even more displease

Reif might be the son of the Baron but he was hated by his own father. Even if he is bullied, the Baron wouldn't care

That gave the servants the courage they should not have. The servant that Reif was grabbing was directly angered

Reif was gripping his wrist too tightly causing him to wince in pain. As a result, he gave Reif a heavy slap in the face

The servant didn't hold back in the slightest as Reif's head violently shake from the slap's impact

Blood even drips down his nose and a great stinging pain was left in his cheeks

"You monster what Big Brother are you talking about?! You are a monster that has no one in this world. Stop your delusion!"

As far as this servant knows, Reif was always a timid little kid. He didn't even dare show himself to other people

How could this weakling act like this towards him? Does this kid think that among the servants he was the easiest to bully? The servant felt like he loses a lot of face because of this

His anger wasn't even quenched after a single slap. The servant heavily kicked Reif's frail body causing a jet of blood to escape his mouth

Reif was barely surviving thanks to the chaos power inside him. After receiving such a kick from a fully grown-up adult, how could his little body not break?

However, Reif completely ignored the heavy pain in his stomach. The servants' words resounded inside his mind

He has no one...?

Then... could his Big Brother Rhash just an imagination? Right, he is a monster. A monster that will hurt everyone near him

How could Reif possibly have a bright sun like Rhash? It must have been his mind playing tricks on him

Reif completely laid in the ground motionless as a sense of powerlessness spreads in his whole body

The pain that his Big Brother Rhash is not real was more painful than the slap and kick of the servant

"Tsk, look at you, pretending to be pitiful when you already killed a lot of people. How disgraceful!" The servant spat out before kicking the unresponsive Reif over and over again

As a servant, his status was very lowly. How many servants have the chance to bully a Noble's son?

His superiority complex was aroused and he became addicted to kicking Rhash. But that was bound to be the biggest mistake in his life

When Rhash saw this scene, all the blood in his body boiled. His eyes turned bloodshot and all of his murderous intent exploded

One must know that back on earth, Rhash already wants to kill his aunt and bullies. It's only the laws of the world that are preventing him from doing that

But in this world, the strong constantly killed the weak. Rhash is currently the strong one in this situation

"How dare you!" Rhash's thunderous voice rang around. The killing intent he had makes the servants forget how to breathe for a moment

Hearing that voice, Reif's lifeless body regained its vitality. He tried to move his head to the source of the familiar voice while a hint of color reappeared on his face

However, in the next second, Reif's face paled again

Rhash's body moved at a fast speed and when Reif can see him again, a terrifying scene entered his eyes

Rhash is now standing between Reif and the servant. He didn't hold back at all and grabbed the servant's head with his hand

The sharp long nails grew in his fingertips and it scratches the servant's head. However, the scratches were the least of the servant's concern

In the next second, Rhash already heavily slammed the servant's head to the ground

The sound of skull breaking entered everyone's ears as the servant's head bleed heavily

All the people around released a gasp filled with fear. How ferocious! Rhash didn't even show any hint of hesitation before killing a perfectly alive and healthy human being

This cruelty causes the servants around to unconsciously take a step back. They became even more afraid when Rhash's blue eyes stared at them

Rhash's skin was very pale. He was whither that even the purest snow. His facial features undoubtedly belong to a cute young man that people would think of as a pure white lotus

Even his enchanting blue eyes look like the most exquisite jade. However, such a perfectly cute and beautiful face was showing such a ferocious expression

The contrast between his facial features and expression was terrifying

"Mark my words, anyone that will hurt my Little Brother will die! I won't show any hint of mercy!"

Rhash only went to the forest to hunt some wild animals. He just wants to properly feed his little treasure

Who would have thought that when he returned, Reif was already gone from their shelter?

Only droplets of Reif's blood were left. God knows how scared Rhash is when he saw Reif's blood

The fear he gained at that time was the greatest fear he had gained both on earth and in his current world

Fortunately, Rhash's sense of smell was very powerful. He easily tracked down Reif with the help of his blood and the scene that entered his eyes was a lowly servant kicking his treasure

The fury that Rhash has soared to the sky. He didn't even think twice before killing the first human he ever killed!

There was no regret nor guilt. Anyone that will hurt his treasure deserves to die!

Reif already experienced enough pain, no one in this world can wrong him ever again whether they are Gods or Demons!

The servants were immediately scared away by his cruelty and they run away in fear. No one dared to look back in fear that they will become the next victim

Only when they vanish from Rhash's vision did some of his anger dissipated

When Rhash looks at Reif, he saw the kid shaking in fear while looking at the servant's corpse

This scene really terrified Reif. This makes Rhash feel bad but he doesn't regret it that much

Sooner or later, Reif would be forced to kill. It was better to help him get ready early on

With how the world seems to have the desire to turn Reif into a villain, one corpse is not enough

The world forced Reif to kill over and over again until the blood in his hand was already uncountable

Despite Rhash being here, he knew that he is still too powerless in the grand scheme of things. He might be powerful now but in the future, Reif himself and his enemies would become far stronger than the current Rhash

However, those are the things for the future. As of now, Reif is still a terrified little kid

"Do you fear me now?" Rhash asked in a low voice while lowering his head. No matter how good his intentions are the fact that he let an innocent kid witness such a scene remains

Just because he did it with good intentions doesn't mean the means is right in the eyes of other people including Reif. It wouldn't be a shock if Reif became scared of him

Rhash's question returned Reif to reality. Before he can even think of an answer, something builds up in his throat and Reif wants to vomit

However, since he doesn't really have anything to vomit from his stomach, only some sticky liquid that has some of his blood came out

A fang of pain slashed Rhash's heart and his mood turned gloomier

"Are you disgusted at me?" No matter how much Reif relies on Rhash, he is still a kid. Wouldn't a kid feel fear and disgust at seeing a person easily killing another person?

"If you don't want me anymore, I understand"

Rhash can just help and protect Reif in the dark. Although he wants to stay with Reif, consent is still a very important thing

If Rhash would stay with Reif, he wants the latter to wholeheartedly approve of it

However, it seems like Rhash still underestimated Reif's yearning for warmth

Before Rhash can drown in his sadness, a set of thin and frail limbs was already wrapped in his body

"Wuwu... B-Big Brother wuwu don't leave Reif!"

Rhash can feel warm liquid falling into his shoulder and his heart felt Reif's warmth. He wipes the blood in his hands to his clothes first before stroking Reif's head and back

"What are you saying? Big Brother will never leave you"

Even if Reif wants Rhash to leave, he still wouldn't leave. He would just prevent Rhash from seeing him but he won't leave

Reif was not convinced though. The fear he had when he woke up without Rhash was still fresh causing him to hug his light tighter than before

"B-but when I woke up...." Reif wasn't able to finish his words anymore as just thinking about already makes his great fear resurface

Turns out that Rhash himself is the reason why Reif was bullied today. If he didn't go for a hunt, Reif wouldn't exit their shelter and the servant wouldn't hurt him

"I'm sorry, Big Brother didn't leave you, okay? We'll have a feast after we get back" Rhash reluctantly broke their hug to wipe the rivers of tears flowing down from Reif's eyes and also the blood his little treasure had shed

Those misty eyes were something that Reif will never get tired of seeing. Although Rhash was blaming himself for Reif's pain, he was also overjoyed at once again seeing how Reif is afraid of losing him

This is something that Rhash greatly wants whether he acknowledges it or not. He wants Reif to need him, seek him, be unable to live without him

In fear that Rhash will vanish again, Reif uses his little hands to cup his Big Brother's face as if he won't ever let it go

The jade-like appearance of Rhash was engraved in the deepest depths of Reif's soul already

"Big Brother, I promise to always be obedient from now on. Reif will always do what Big Brother wants me to do" Reif said in a tone full of conviction. He already promised himself that if Rhash came back to him, he would be 100% obedient but what met him was a flick in the forehead

"Big Brother wants you to be obedient but I don't want you to be a puppet. If you don't like anything, say it to me and we will talk about it"

Although Rhash wants Reif to be an obedient kid, he still doesn't want him to be a soulless puppet. Reif needs to have an opinion of his own

Rhash doesn't want Reif to just do whatever he wants. He also wants Reif to grow as a person

Reif just pouts at that though but inside him, he still vowed not to do anything that will displease his Big Brother

"But Reif... you see how I acted today. If you stay with me, this is not the last time that this kind of thing will happen"

"If anyone bullies you again, I will not hesitate to retaliate"

With those words, Reif was reminded that there was still a fresh corpse near them. He wants Rhash not to kill anyone anymore but he painfully swallowed his words

Rhash will not go against his Big Brother's decision and he can only answer using a hug. His face has an uncomfortable expression on it that he didn't want Rhash to see
