Demon's And The Human World

Slowly, my eyes open to the figure of Jenny kneeling down holding me, she looks....sad.

Suddenly I realize where I'm at and I try to get up slowly but I get up in a blink of an eye.

"Holy shit." I yell out as I fall back down to the ground.

Hitting the ground the group stares at me in shock unable to register how fast I got up.

The first of them to speak is Elizabeth. "It would seem that the disciple has become the master. Ha, what a weird day this is. I'm just happy to see that you're okay."

Looking over at her I see that she is healing, the blood is still lingering on her skin.

"I'm so sorry Elizabeth, I didn't mean to hurt you." I say as I remember the things that transpired.

I hear a sob come from Jenny as I look over. "I'm so happy you're okay Kamen, I was so worried about you and Elizabeth." She says as she reaches out to hug me.

But something inside me, like instinct moves me away. Jenny looks at me with pure sadness in her eyes.

"I'm sorry Jenny, I don't know what that was." I say as I walk towards her and hold her hugging her tight.

"It would seem that with your evolution, your instincts have sharpened and now sees people as possible threats." Alistair says as he clears his throat.

I think to myself and wonder what stage I am at and at the sametime I'm thinking about how to train my new instincts.

Alice looks me up and down. "It looks like you got taller and your muscles are more defined." She says as I see her biting her lip out of the corner of my eye.

Jenny looks over at her and glares.

"Don't worry everyone, I'm not gonna Vamp out and hurt any of you again, atleast I hope I won't." I say that last part quietly.

I walk over to Elizabeth and pick her up and stare into her eyes. "Elizabeth, I really am sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. Can you forgive me."

She nods her head before hugging me.

"You need blood Elizabeth, here drink some of mine." I say as I cut my hand and let the blood pour out.

As the blood pours out the smell hits Jenny, Ruby and Elizabeth and they blush.

Elizabeth leans in and starts sucking on my blood.

Her eyes open wide and she suddenly sucks my blood harder than before. The pain is weird, it's like a numb yet throbbing pain.

"Okay that's enough Elizabeth." I say as I put my hand on her head and push back slightly.

Unfortunately, with my new evolution; I cannot control my strength and accidentally push her back 4 feet.

"That is so fucking cool." I say as I open and close my hand watching the cut heal back fast.

I look over at Elizabeth and notice that all of her wounds are healed and that she is looking at me with a predatory lust.

"Did my blood do that to her?" I look over at Alice.

"I'd say that your blood strengthened her and is like a drug to her now."

"Greeeeeaaaaat" I say looking over at Jenny, she looks envious that she didn't get to drink any.

We all make our way back to the house.

As we make it inside, we hear boots on the ground.

I sniff the air.

"I can smell them...." I say out-loud realizing that I remember that smell.

Vlad's soldiers....

"I'll go and see what they want, everyone stay here.'

Walking out the door, I spot 100 soldiers outside our house with a man infront with demonic looking armor leading the troops.

The man smiles a big toothy grin, his teeth blackened and falling out.

"Wait, you're not with Vlad are you?" My thought blurted out.

The man laughs before turning serious. "We will never be aligned with that 'man'. We are simply here on the request of my king. Lucifer." The man says as he raises his hand and the troops pull out their swords and take up a stance ready to attack.

"What does Lucifer want with me?" I ask with squinted eyes unsure if what he says is true.

"It's simple, Lucifer sees the potential in you and wants you to be taken care of." The man says as he lowers his hands and arrows fly from the troops in the back.

Instinct takes over and I raise my hand, a barrier made of light is formed around me.

The arrows pass through the barrier and make contact with my body piercing various parts of me.

"Grrrrr" I say gritting my teeth taking the arrows out one by one. For some insane reason I lower my hands and a sword made of the purist of darkness forms in one and a dagger made of the purist light forms in the other.

Looking down I smile. "Good, they are still with me in some aspect." Thinking to myself as I slowly make my way towards the man leading the troops.

"This feels weird, why is he smiling?" I think to myself and my walk turns to a run and suddenly I'm in-front of him.

Taken back by what he just witnessed the man is unable to act and my sword makes contact to his shoulder and slips into him.

"MMMMMMMMMM" The man moans.

I pull my sword out of him in disgust.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" I ask as I see the wound on his shoulder instantly heal.

My eyes open wide. "How is that possible?!"

The man smiles before he puts his hand through my chest.

I expect to feel pain, but I don't feel a thing. Looking up to the man, he's unsure of what just happened.

"Why didn't that kill you?" The man asks in a panic clearly losing faith that they could kill the monster in front of them.

"Ha.....Haha.....HAHAHAHHAA" I start laughing uncontrollably.

The man tries to pull his hand out but I grip his wrist.

"Let go of my hand you monster!" The man yells out before signaling his men to attack me.

I look over at them as my normally blood red eyes slowly turn to blackish red.

The men to my right suddenly catch on fire, covered in black fire. Their screams are like adding fuel to the fire.

Inside the house everyone is looking at the fight in shock.

"Is....Is he enjoying this?" Alice asks confused and worried.

"I think with his evolution and the souls that were fragments became on is having an effect on him." Alistair says

"Interesting, it looks like I've have to start training again to keep up" Elizabeth says.

Everyone looks over at her with a look of "What the fuck is wrong with you"

Outside the house the man is watching his men burn alive.

"The information was wrong about you. Go and alert Lucifer immediately!"

One of his men salute him and try to escape, I turn to him and the darkness flows from under my feet towards the man and cover him.

Everything goes quiet as the only thing they hear is a loud pop.

The men freak out and try to run away.

My laughter returns as my eyes change to pure black.

Black ooze seeps from my eyes as the man infront of me is screaming to be let go.

"It was a very bad idea for you to have come here, now you shall all die."

Darkness envelopes everyone around me and is trapped in the void with me.

The men look around unsure of what they're seeing, they run to the walls trying their best to escape, scratching at the wall and punching it.

They turn around and see me covered in the blood of their comrades. Licking the blood from my face I smile at them.

My look must be akin to what they assume what a true monster is.

"Delicious" Is the only thing I say as I rush towards them pushing my fist through their chests one by one and drain the demon blood from their system.

As I drop the last man I walk out of the void letting it swallow their bodies whole. Unfortunately, demons don't have souls, so their is no added benefit besides drinking their blood.

Once all of the troops are dead, I slowly fade back to normal looking around me.

"What the fuck was that about?" I ask myself confused.

Everyone rushes outside.

"Kamen are you alright?" Jenny asks me as she sees me opening and closing my fist.

"Y....Yeah I'm fine, just unsure what that was about." I say uncertain.

"It was your instincts as a King level Vampire. Most King level monsters I've heard of have been able to hold their most basic instincts intact." Alistair says as he looks me up and down unsure if I'm really me.

"Alice, is there something you can do about this?" I look to her and ask.

She puts her hand to her chin thinking.

"It's possible I suppose, I've heard from other witches that one could use runes to put a block on someone's power but to an extent. Let me look through my book." She says as she conjures her book flipping through the pages.

"Here it is. It says here that there are various stages with the runes, more like locks. Each one blocks off a percentage of ones powers, ranging from 20%, 50%, 75%, and finally 99%."

I pat her back. "Let's do it then." I say as she gives me a weird look.

"What is it?"

"It says here that you will have to use these runes on something you wear. It says here that the choices are, Gloves, and Rings."

"Hmmm." rubbing my chin I think of something.

"Let's go back to the human world and buy some rings. "

"Are you sure that you can go back without effecting those in the human world?" Alistair asks.

I'm stumped. "I can't be for sure, there's only one way to find out." I say as I swipe my hand and a screen pops up.

Alice squints her eyes. "Where did you get that?"

"I got this when we were walking through the mythical forest, ever since I touched the screen to the teleporter; it's been bound to me."

She sighs.

"Alright, let's go."

I turn back to the screen and enter earth as the target.

We're teleported to a state in the United States.

Walking over to a newspaper, I see that the state is Ohio.

"Shit, this place sucks." I say as I remember what life was like here.

I look around for a jewelry store, spotting one I make my way towards it.

Stopping infront of the store, I turn to everyone.

"Try to act normal in here." I say as we walk in.

The clerk sees me and smiles. "It's been along time since I've seen you Kamen, how's it been?" She asks me.

"It's been uh, shitty." I say as I look at the rings.

"I'm sorry to hear that, are you wanting to buy a ring for someone?"

"Yes, I'm looking for one for myself." I say as I see a ring with a dragon etched onto it, the dragon looks fierce.

"I'll take this one." Putting the ring on the counter, she looks at me and tells me the price.

"That will be 300$."

"Shit, I forgot about money." I say as I see 300 $ handed to her, I turn around and see Jenny handing her the money.
