First Date Experience

It was already eight on the dot but Gage hadn't arrived yet. Darby sat on the couch watching TV while thinking about him. he had a good excuse because rain was falling but he should've still be early.

She waited until it was 8:39 but he didn't arrive, she wanted to call him but remembered she didn't have his number. She went to her room sadly and feel asleep. When she woke up, she heard a tap on her window and she opened it to see Gage climbing on a ladder to get to her window.

The only thing she thought was that he was to immatured to be a President.

She went downstairs and told a maid to open the door and when they did she went out even if it was still raining.

"Gage! Over here!" she yelled and he looked at her and smirked before jumping from the ladder, she thought he was gonna fall because her room was upstairs and far from down but he landed on his feets before walking to her.

"I'm really sorry Darby, I had a meeting with the government based on when I'm getting elected as the president and it will be really soon" he said as she watched how the rain made his hair really wet.

"It's fine" she said but deep down she was burning with heat but she was glad he came to her.

"So come on" he said pulling her hand to his car and she didn't ask any questions she just entered while he entered the driver seat.

"Where are we going to?" she asked and he turned to look at her

"It's a surprise" he said before he started driving, soon they arrived at a small place covered with candles everywhere and it had a roof which protected them from the rain and red curtains. Maids were also there placing foods on the table. she admired the place before he shifted a seat for her to enter and sit and she did before he went and sat down too.

He noticed she was freezing so he stood up,. removed his coat and used it to cover her skin which was filled with goose bumps.

"Let's enjoy" he said and she smiled before hey started eating.

"I hope I made it up to you now. You're not mad right?" he asked staring at her blue eyes. Sometimes he wondered how she got those eyes. Her parents both had hazel eyes even her sisters.

"No... But I'm a bit mad, I'll try to forgive you" she assured. After their long date, he drove her back home and kissed her forehead before leaving too.
