Cecilia awoke with a loud gasp, and she lay there on the floor. She stared up at the ceiling of the cage, knowing that she was no longer dreaming. Her body still felt flushed from what she dreamed of before. Her body still felt hot, and her lips were still bruised.
"Cecilia! You're awake." Gayle said, helping Cecilia to lean up. Her nose wrinkled slightly as a familiar scent lingered on Cecilia's body, but she couldn't place it. "I was so worried about you. You were muttering in your sleep. I thought you may have had brain damage."
"I did it," Cecilia muttered as she was still trying to gather herself. "I finally did it."
"Did what? What are you talking about?" Gayle asked in a concerned tone.
"Where am I? What's going on?" Cecilia answered. "How did I get back here? I remember being with Oscar. He was trying to get me to kiss him. I wouldn't do it."
