Gregory paled and became flushed at Jared haphazardly, throwing out a secret that he didn't even tell Jared about. Jared grinned at his embarrassment and mocked him. "Oh yes. I know all about you, Gregory. Your parents filled your head with nonsense about holding out for the proper woman. Do you really think that she would be a jobless, criminal virgin? I think not. Abby slammed her hand on the wall hard, drawing Gregory and Jared's attention to her. She had heard enough from Jared. Her eyes narrowed at him, as her nose flared as she attempted to control her anger.
