CHAPTER 46 Trash. Pathetic. Waste.of.flesh!

"Abby! What are you doing here?" Gayle exclaimed before pulling Abby into a hug.

She hadn’t seen her in such a long time. It was nice to see a familiar and friendly face.

"Lord Jared requested me as Beatrice’s replacement," Abby explained.

"Your parents would have never agreed to that with it being so dangerous. How did he manage that?" Gayle said. 

"Of course, you know, he did what he always did. He lied. I don’t think I can handle hearing my parents screaming, so I haven’t informed them yet. Is there really a serial killer lurking around?" Abby answered. 

"Unfortunately, yes. You need to tell your parents. Perhaps they can bring in reinforcements because we desperately need them. Jared is too proud to admit that he needs help," Gayle said.

Abby nodded and said, "I brought Terri and Cecilia with me. After they explained everything, I thought it would be good to have them with me instead of leaving them alone."
