CHAPTER 37 Don't Lie to Me
Lady Gayle looked at the doors of the library as she could feel a presence standing right outside. She glanced at Cecilia, who was helping Terri read a more advanced book. It was not allowed for humans to read which was absurd. It wasn't as if reading would help humans overthrow them.
"Someone is outside the doors," Lady Gayle said. Cecilia and Terri quickly put away the books. "Do everything as I showed you."
The two girls nodded. Cecilia dropped to her knees and began massaging Lady Gayle's feet while Terri took the brush on the table to brush Lady Gayle's hair. This is what Beatrice saw when she opened the doors to the library and walked in.
"Hello, Beatrice," Lady Gayle greeted her.
"Hello, Auntie," Beatrice said with a smile, "What are you doing here?"
