Meeting (1)

The king walked to the head of the long, curved table, the seat reserved for him; a grand, high-backed chair adorned with the Solaman crest. He took his east with a measured, deliberate movement.

Once the king was seated, the rest of the room's occupants bowed silently once more before taking their own seats. They didn't dare sit down, even before the king was in the room, waiting until their monarch was comfortably seated.

The soldiers stationed themselves strategically around the chamber, while the other officials quickly filled the remaining seats. The atmosphere was taut, filled with expectations, as all waited for the commencement of the meeting.
