Sharing a room

Laura was pacing back and forth in her study room. Dressed in a long satin wine red nightgown. Two servants stood in front of her with their heads bowed

This wasn't happening, she just married that man, and he disappeared into thin air. She had so many rules to lay down, so Nathan could understand

“How dare he… Who does he think he is?” Laura muttered angrily. Stopping in her track, her gaze shifted to the two helpers standing before her.

Laura continued pacing, scaring the living daylight out of the two servants

They knew any better than to move when their boss was angry. It was late at night. The lady of the house was supposed to be in bed; however, she was waiting for her new husband

Shortly just as Laura was about to leave the study when the door opened and Patricia walked in

“What happened?” she asked scanning Patricia who looked rather nervous

“Ma'am… sir is here,” Patty said with a low bow and Laura remained silent.
