Moving to the other side of the forest

My name is Marie the elder sister of Nina, we had got lost years back. We've managed

to live as am too protective of my younger sister Nina. We stayed in a forest since our child hood where we managed to get shelter.

Since the east part is deadly we decided to go to the west part of the forest.

"Marie do you really think we are safe here"asked Nina

"why are you so worried like that sis, no harm at all and when it does, I will fight for you." I replied comforting her like how an elder sister should be.

"Really, but there is a way darkness in here freaks me out, won't seem to sleep"

"shhh, I hope tonight u will get some rest, I will make some light .let's gather some wood to prepare super ok just relax."

Nina began the search for wood as I went for hunting. As she was still collecting firewood, there came an uproar on the other side of the forest.

what's that , she asked herself as she was extending near the uproar only to see a huge beast jumping after her. She ran quickly while calling me for help.

when she saw it wasn't helping her out she jumped and climbed a big tree and began wailing at the beast.

I on the other hand came running following the roar only to find a beast there. I immediately climbed a tree and began timing the beast.

"what a blessing sis, meat meat let's attack" i said .

Webwent after the animal and began fighting it till it was overpowered and Nina pinned it with a dagger.

"Had you got something Marie, I doubt." she said sarcastically.

"Not at all was just searching but lucky enough we have something bigger." I replied while looking at her.

We then started laughing dancing singing as we prepared the meat.

"Honey, can't seem to get rid of the thought that my daughters got lost, can't concentrate, I just feel overpowered." said Queen Nancy. she got up from her bed and looked at the king. While walking towards him, she stopped for a moment and hoped if only king Ashley could understand what she was feeling. The sadness in her eyes. He ignored her gaze and turned his back on her for a moment.

"Nancy, I don't know how to say it but" he turned to look at her.

"I tried my best to make it work till I lost hope can't u see, I don't think they are alive years have past. Please just forget about it ok" He passed his arm across her cheek to coax her into his idea only waiting to hear her response.

"Am still hopeful your majesty, you don't know how I feel." Tears began flooding from her eyes again.

"Excuse me" She said as she moved away and left him their startled. lf only he had a way of making his wife forget about the past they would have a better life but right now it was impossible. He proceeded to the palace looking pale sat up on his seat and began looking at the door, many thoughts running through his mind.

" Your majesty is everything fine" asked Sàdi one of his guards. He trusted him so much and was a good friend of his.

"Nothing, don't mind." he responded and began faking smiles to show how fine he is. He never even bothered to go back to meet his wife for he feared to see her frustration so he remained in the palace. Guards began looking around whispering among themselves why the king isn't going to his quarters.

Next morning, Nancy got up moved her arms on the bed and sensed that maybe the king never came back because of her condition. She got up hurriedly only to find the king taking a shower.l think he just came back in the morning she thought to her self as she headed back to the bedroom.

"Your majesty am sorry about yesterday I didn't mea...."

"It's alright". he didn't wait for her to finish her statement.

"I won't bring that topic again " She said while going for his hand. He pecked her and released a smile for a while.
