Sophia's Unyielding Resolve
Sophia who was already weak from all the slaps and beating managed to stand up. But her strength failed her and she fell right into the arms of Donald.
"You don't have to worry too much, I'm here to take care of you. I'm sorry we didn't find you earlier." Donald said, pressing a kiss on her forehead sending shivers and warmth down her spine. Sophia felt safe and secure in the warm embrace of Donald.
As much as she hates to admit this, he is her safe haven and she won't trade that for anything in the world. Sophia decided to surrender to the headache threatening to break her into pieces as her bones felt numb. Her throat was dry and her heart beating fast inside her chest.
Without any hesitation, Donald scooped Sophia into his arms and kissed her again on the forehead. "Come here, let's get you home." Fred said and made way to the car.
