Prologue (Should Read)

Ever since I was a child I was treated harshly by my "family." All because I was the child of a mistress. I didn't understand it at the time. However it was even worse due to my red eyes and pitch black hair, that was uncommon.

My mother died shortly after my birth and I was taken in by the Xiao family. My four sisters and eldest brother disliked me.

Everyone. Even the maids had disliked me, calling me a demon child.

'Why am I treated differently?'

They had even gone so far as to make me wear a customized white shock collar that had a built in tracking device. That's right, it was a pet collar.

'Is it because of my eyes?'

If I was not following orders or being beat up, I was always chained back into the dark basement.

'Is it because I was a mistress's child...?"

The Xiao families plan was perfect. Me, being much smaller than others my age who could pass off as a few years younger, would never be connected to being a relative of the Xiao's. The age wouldn't match at first glance. I wouldn't disgrace the family.

Experiencing abuse and neglect for eighteen years, I've gotten used to it more or less. I am the Xiao families unknown demon child.
