Chapter 41 : Missed Call

It was almost eleven at night and I was using our fancy espresso machine for the first time in my life. Usually, I didn’t mess with this, preferring to get my caffeine as quickly as possible, and to be honest I didn’t know how to use it. But after a quick Youtube video, I was now an expert.
Currently, I was making two mocha latte’s for my father and me. I even added whipped cream on top. I smiled ruefully as I thought if Aaron Taddeo could see the leaders of the Molton Family drinking fancy coffee drinks like this.
I brought our drinks to my father’s office. He accepted his coffee with a muttered 'thank you'. My dad enjoyed the drink as much as I did. I sat down across from him, getting right back to work. Both of us had been working around the clock to get as much information on the Taddeos' dealings as possible. We had been going through past archives we had on their gang to learn anything we could use against them.
