'What happens to you after a truck smashes you to death? A question I’ve asked myself a thousand times, as I read stories or watched animes involving Truck-kun. I’m sure many of you would have the same answer as me: ‘You get reincarnated silly.’ Or even those who’d say: ‘You meet an ROB and get a zillion wishes and go to your favorite world to build a harem and have cock measuring contests with everyone who looks wrong at you, DUH.’ I was surprised when I got to test it first hand. Scratch that, the only thought on my mind as I faced the enormous monstrosity, if there was any, was that I didn’t want to die, while my body thought it would magically solve the solution if I pissed and shat myself. Turns out that men shit themselves when they die, who knew?' This is a story about an ordinary man who suddenly found himself in a different world with a GAMER system! Or at least what appeared to be similar. Current World: Game of Thrones First World: The Walking Dead Second World: Game of Thrones I wish to do: Harry Potter, Danmchi, Marvel, DXD... Nothing is fixed yet, and I will be taking requests into consideration. ------------------------------------ Support me on Patreon and read up to 5 chapters ahead: patreon.com/xenongraves RELEASE RATE: I'm aiming for 10k words / week. so 1 chapter / day , with 2k words, though for now, I just post wherever I've reached. I haven't stockpiled chapters yet. ------------------------------------ Disclaimer: I do not own The Walking Dead. Thanks to LordValmar for the cover! ------------------------------------ This part is to help you decide if you want to read this or not. 1- Is this a HAREM story? I understand this is a deal breaker for a lot of people. So I'll avoid wasting your time. I didn't add a HAREM tag because it's not a HAREM story just yet. However, if you are ABSOLUTELY against the very idea of Harems, I suggest you avoid reading this, because as the author I am open to the possibility. However, at no point will this become a story where the MC gets any girl he wants just because he looked their way. I wish to make the interactions as human as possible. Needless to say, with the system, it might tip the scale in his favor. 2- Is the MC OP? At the start? Nope. he is as ordinary as they come. I'm trying to maintain a balance in the story. if he can speed run the world, there is no point in writing about his adventures at all if he's already a god. he will EVENTUALLY be OP, but not right off the bat. 3- Does the MC get wishes? No. If you have more questions, ask me in the comment, I'll give you an answer as soon as I can.
"Well, he is sixteen." Lori pointed out.
"That he is." Andrea nodded. "Wait, aren't you sixteen as well, Amy?" She asked innocently.
"Yes…"
"You guys are perfect for each other!" she exclaimed dramatically, making exaggerated hand gestures to accentuate her point.
"And he is quite good looking too." Jacqui added gleefully.
"Not you too, Jacqui." Amy glared daggers at her for the 'betrayal'.
"When is he gonna ask you out?"
"What makes you think he even likes me that way anyway?"
"Yeah, sorry, you're totally right." Andrea snorted. "Come on, look at you, why wouldn't he? You're gorgeous."
"That's not really an argument sister, you should review your logic." Amy shook her head in amusement, albeit she did like the compliment.
"Whatever you say." Andrea shrugged, ending her teasing session. Not that she wanted her sister to get together with him, but she liked teasing her a lot.

There wasn't much for me to do around camp, so I decided to spend my time the most productive way I could think of: getting new skills. The problem was: there wasn't much skills you could get without a proper teach, or a LOT of trial and error. A few ones I could think of from the top of my head, but not all of them are ideal for my situation.
There was one that could definitely serve me: Knife Throwing. I know it wouldn't serve me in the short term, as you wouldn't be able to eliminate a walker by throwing a knife at them when the distance is significant, and by significant I mean more than five meters. However, I was an exception to this rule. I had a system that helped me upgrade skills, and I had a few abilities that would make it more powerful.
Let me give you an example: my hatchet mastery not only increases my proficiency with hatchets, but also my DAMAGE. Using numbers, a strike that should've dealt 30 damage, would deal 40 when you take the skill into consideration. A normal person, applying the same effort as me, would still be limited at 30, as it only depends on his strength. But I had something that completely ignore this particular rule. Obviously, the numbers were theoretical, I didn't know how much increase my skill gave me.
Now, if I do manage to get a knife throwing skill, I could increase my damage when using a knife, and then if I throw a knife whilst using [Empowered Strike]… That would deal enough damage to be of use to me in this case, either against zombies or real people. Now the problem is: how do I get the skill? I would have to work my ass off for it, obviously.
I already had a knife in my inventory that I've gotten with my 'starter pack', so I'm going to use that. I don't know how throwing knives generally are, if they required a special kind of balance, so I'm going in blind, basically.

'That's the system's way of telling me I'm on the right path, I guess.' I chuckled.
I was about fifty meters from camp, as I didn't want to be disturbed. And I started the knife over and over at a tree. Evidently, since I had no idea what I was doing, I kept missing. The knife hit the tree alright, but with the wrong side. It was spinning mid-flight, and most of the time hit it with the handle instead of the blade. Not that hitting it with the blade would've been any help. Its pointy end needs to face the tree on impact, to bury itself in it.
And so, I tried controlling the spin, not that I had much luck in the area. But I was anything but a quitter, and that's how I spent the next three hours, throwing a knife at the tree, missing the shot, picking it up and doing it all over.
