After clearing some land for the karkadann and the flamodos, the flamodos have reached an overall population of 56, which is rather low, but steadily the numbers will go up.
When sending off the soldiers, an explosion erupted from a far distance [BOOM!!] Axel continues to send them and look for small villages to conquer and animals to domesticate, anything that will further the growth of the village.
Axel checks out this sudden explosion with Jacob tagging along with him, running along the dirt, passing through trees and small monsters and the small monsters that show fear towards him, backs up and run the opposite direction trying to save themselves.
Running still through the forest with no knowledge of what to look for, when a cave appears before his very eyes with boulders split in pieces creating small pieces here in the rubble.
Looking within the cave, Axel sees nothing but endless darkness after that Axel heads in the cave, putting one foot in front of the other while Jacob heads right behind him with a sense of terror lurking about, warning Axel about the danger that he senses, when they reach the end of the cave by walking into the wall, then stumble on the ground, then the ground collapse, and they fall screaming and panicking.
Axel is trying to cling on to his very life, Desmond! You got anything to stop us from falling, Yes, I'm fit to envelop your body whole covering you in my slime body creating a humanoid creature. As Desmond envelopes axel, their boy becomes well over 9ft (2.74 m) tall with bulging muscles, with the snake tattoo still wrapped around him in the same place that was on Axel, with Desmond's body color turning emerald green with royal blue mix.
Desmond latches on to the side of the hole, grabbing Jacob with the other hand, reducing their speed of which they fall, As Desmond's slime claws slide down the hole they nearly reach the bottom enough to safely jump down from.
After jumping down Desmond resides back in Axel, Axel baffled by that ask Desmond what he did, Desmond what was that? It was full integration which I can take over your body and give you more power than before, I can either merge both of us together and giving you full control of that form, but I'll cease to exist, or the other option would be for you to create a bridge too where we both can exist with, you take control; you need the willpower and need to know that pain is a figment of your imagination; it doesn't control you; you control it!
After the discussion with Desmond, Axel looks around to discover that it's bigger in the hole than it looked, Looks like there's a small hole only enough to fit a small creature, then suddenly hundreds of ants pour out of the hole, all of them look big as a small cat and are charging at us, the ants clap their mandibles then tear at axel tearing and piercing axels flesh then axel activate his steel scales, but unexpectedly they tear at his scales faster than he can regenerate when they rip at his flesh again.
Even after that they still get through dame! Jacob is suffering from this as well, but also defending with everything he has, axel does the same, attacking with his claws and putting them on it like a kebab, still the ants are biting to the bones of Axel's legs now, looking at this he still keeps his cool, he reminds himself of what his soldiers did that day when they got back, Axel eats the ants he killed that are on his claws, regenerating his body slowly, but it's not enough as soon as he kills the ants more that come and replace them.
Axel continues to eat these ants while Jacob sees the action that Axel does and does the same, resulting in them slowly regenerating while being eaten alive then what Axel was waiting for happened.

Now he gained two passive skills that work hand in hand with each other, constantly regenerating and being torn apart while you regenerate and eaten again that the amount of pain is horrifying, Jacob looks like his regeneration is faster as well.
The ants that ate at the flesh of Axel and Jacob went into something like hibernation and stopped moving, then after that a cracking like sound vibrated throughout the whole underground. Then the ants burst at their own carcass as something new, one came out with human characteristics such as legs and arms, while another had four legs and fur on its back.
Axel eyes turned white with this familiar aura that is the same as him when it hit him, that these are the fabled chimera ants that are notorious for being savages and conquering massive of cities and countries, this is a blessing or curse which will decide their fate down here.
[Lesser Regeneration Lvl-3] [Pain Resistance Lvl-5]
His healing is faster once again, once they bite a piece of flesh off and new flesh will be formed in 3-5 minutes, the pain has lessened again, and it's not what it once was as he was being eaten alive it's more like being scratched constantly until there's pain.
Being surrounded by the ants when they stopped and were brought through the tunnels that are deep within the underground being brought before a humanoid type ant with everything that a human has it has, then there are the ant parts which is the antennas, exoskeleton and wings in its back meaning that this is their queen!
Standing before the queen, I didn't shake or tremble because I will be the one to come out alive through all this, then the Queen tries to speak and the first words to come out are.... Why do I sense we share the same race? But your bloodline is of purer quality?
After listening to this, I don't feel any hostility or malicious intent of any kind, so I guess it's safe to answer this question, I'm the inheritor of the chimera race.

The Ten fallen was brother and sisters that protected and ruled lands, the seas and the skies, they ruled over their own territories when foreigners from a faraway world crossing through the borders of our world and killed them, own one by one destroyed them and turning them into mere legends, fables of what they once were.
Struck down by the gods' heroes, but I never thought that they would leave their legacy behind, I guess they are not done yet, well, this was unexpected. I never thought that I'd meet my Great Ancestor.

Signaling the other ants to fully evacuate the underground and get ready for mass migration, Alex walks Axel through the underground, telling him that there is a forbidden area that they have sealed back up because when they were expanding the tunnels they found tombs with rusted weapons, and endless circular objects that were yellow, As they went to move all of it out, the tombs opened up and skeletons got up from it, but these skeletons had skin that looked like it was dried up for many years and killed off about 20-30 of my children that sacrifice their lives in order to seal the tomb.
