Dose It Have A Name?

Krypton Technology, was a long term seed that David had laid out at the end of W.W.II, in ordered form them to specialize in the research and development of mechanical prosthetics.

David could only reminisce about his plans as he flew over to another building a few blocks away.

He wanted to get the full view of his company and it's magnificence, with the words "Krypton Technology" beautifully written at the peak of the building.

"It's good to be back, now let's, go and active my authorizations, I hope I have not changed a lot over the years in the Cryo Pod to be unrecognizable" David said as he landed at the entrance which caused some shock to the near by pedestrians.

With David's arrival, he was greeted by an old friend...

~Welcome back Sir, you've been gone for 63 years, 4 months and 11 hours. And in you absence Krypton Corporation has been running well, and even had a recent breakthrough...~

This was Krypton Technology's artificial intelligence, David managed to win it through a lottery draw back during World War II, and since then has been posted inside becoming the main regulator of the company's operations. Of course behind the scenes.

David would love to see Tony's face if he told him he developed this back during the war and how even back then his artificial intelligence was far superior to J.A.R.V.I.S, and it is was only a step away from becoming sentient.

Whilst David made his way along, many employees looked on in amazement at David as he walked in with his super suit.

As employees of Krypton Technology, many knew what the founder looked like. In fact, David deliberately left photos of himself hung up throughout the building and luckily they had kept some up since World War II.

~Sir, there is a guest waiting for you~ Brainstorm said reporting the situation.

David went straight to the 23rd floor and that was where he met Nick Fury who seemed to have gotten comfortable whilst he had been waiting.

"You know I took time out of my busy schedule to see you, and if I had known I would have been waiting for as long as it did I wouldn't have even tried..." Fury said standing up with a calm voice, as if talking to an old friend.

With a soft nostalgic smile on David's face, he opened his arms to meet Fury with a hug.

"It's been so many years, and I see you practically have no hairline" David said with a chuckle as he slapped Fury's shoulder.

Fury instinctively tensed up whilst his heart skipped a beat, because you could say he was really worried that David would destroy his shoulder.

"Don't worry, you paranoid old goat its under control" David finished off by pulling out a cigar and handing it over to Fury.

"Thank you, and if your wondering the military still retains your colonel position, so if you wanted you could came back and even be promoted to general... What do you think?" Fury said holding the cigar in his hand, but hadn't lit it yet.

However David lit his cigar with his heat vision in front of Fury and squinted.

"I know you to well fury, you're just saying that to stay professional you don't really want me to go back to the military... And besides I guess that idiot Ross was the one who proposed the idea, right?"

Taking a puff David continued "After his whole Hulk plan fell through, he must want whatever makes me special to keep his standing in the military. And if I went back I would be obligated to tell them what makes me special"

David exhaled a ring of smoke and snorted coldly whilst Fury said quickly.

"As a matter of fact, the entirety of the military still thinks so. Since the beginning when the news of your return spread, they naturally regarded you as their person, just like decades ago, when you displayed that terrifying power"

"They can only dream, those pathetic mongrels are only aiming for the sky's because... My powers cannot be duplicated" David sneered, with a calm anger brewing...

He will be the one and only...

No cheap knock offs...

And no cobbled together clones...

Fury's heart jumped, as he nodded calmly, whilst taking out a sealed document with words "Top Secret" written on the cover.

"Oh is this something you've been working on?" David said picking it up and looked it over in less then a second using his Super Speed, and his enhanced mind, to memorize all of it to the get the gist of what was written in the thick document.

Watching the pages of his document turn into blurs stunned Fury and caused his reverence to deepen for his old boss.

"Ah, yes, and I was planning to invite you into the team" Fury said solemnly.

David looked at Fury playfully and said back "And who's going to be the captain?"

"If you don't join I had Steve as the runner up, because if it's as you say and he's just frozen then I would like him to lead the team, because of his noble leader like character, and is proficiency in battle tactics" Fury replied.

"Don't worry I'll join if only to give it a try and repay you for looking after my company for so long. And seriously, if it weren't for the fact that you have been taking care of it for me in the past few decades, I would have shot you down"

David threw the document onto the table, and he looked at Fury Infront of him deeply.

Time can really change a person, it would seem Fury grow up for to quickly and all of a sudden now leads one of the most well kept secrets within the American boarders.

Fury was silent for a moment, then sighed.

He knew David too well, and although he hadn't followed David for long enough he did have a much better understanding of David's character then anyone else.

Fury broke the silence and said "Well, on S.H.I.E.L.D's side, I will put you down as the leader of the team but you won't have to do anything untill the team if fully formed..." Fury stood up and was about to leave...

"Does this team have a name?" David asked suddenly.

Fury thought but shook his head and said "No, not yet."

"Good because I thought of a name, let's call it... The Avengers... my team should at least have a good name" he said chuckling as he took a puff...
