#VEGITO POV#

"Come on," I tell Towa as I point us toward a cave

Once we get inside I quickly deploy some barriers to hide us

"I need some rest," Says Towa as she brings out a capsule and throws it to the ground as a puff of smoke appears for a moment leaving a bed behind as she falls on top of it

I watch silently as she quickly falls asleep

Letting out a sigh, I feel tempted to do the same, but I don't need to sleep anymore

Instead, I focus on maintaining the barrier around us as I float in the air a bit cross my legs, and begin to go over the events that happened during the fight

The Demon Ruler was a good opponent in terms of skill and his abilities were very interesting but not something I can see myself using

Going over the moments of the times that I attacked him, I visualize in my mind the cause and effects of said ability and try to break it down

The way that he was cutting a piece of time itself out of the timestream was incredible

I have some idea as to how to do it myself, I will need to check with Chronoa if it would be a viable ability for me to train my own time manipulation

I also begin to think about the portals that he was making and I am exactly surprised that someone was using portals to avoid attacks or send KI blasts back similar to Janemba

At this point, I am wondering if I should try and do the same thing, to see how much it would benefit me

I open my eyes as I feel a wave of energy pulsing around and I immediately know what is happening 

They are looking for us

I reinforce the barrier as much as possible as I take glances at Towa

Ever since we arrived her power has been increasing

Not a lot but enough to be easily noticed at first

But, now, she is at least 9% stronger than she was before we arrived

I focus my sensing outside of the barrier and narrow my eyes

This Demon King is going to be a massive problem

Especially since he seems to be connected to the Evil Dragon Balls in some way

From what I felt of the demon realm location, I can take a few guesses as to what he was trying to do with that set

I was able to use the connection that they have to one another and hijack my way into communicating with the others

I am not stupid, I am aware that he may have even spied on our conversations

I go into a standing position as I feel a multitude of different beings flying around the area around us

A pit begins to form in my stomach as I try to get a feel for their energy but its no use

I can't sense their energy at all

I look back to Towa and decide to simply wait for her to wake up before we continue...

#VOMI POV#

"How do you think they are doing?" I ask Chronoa as we are currently in the Time Nest

"Well, I haven't really felt the Demon Realm shaking yet, so Vegito and Towa are probably still getting their bearings," Says Chronoa while extending her senses in such a way that it can reach the Demon Realm

"Shaking...what do you mean by that?" I ask her

"Well, Vegito is really powerful, and I am absolutely sure, that if he is forced to go all out, he would be shaking the entirety of the Demon Realm, though, I am sure that he would end the fight as quickly as possible and get out of there," Says Chronoa 

"Is there really someone that powerful there, that can push him that far?" I ask Chronoa

"There is a very good chance of it yes," She answers 

"How so? From what I heard from Towa most of the demons were already dead," I tell her

"The demon realm is...unique, its not truly bound by the natural laws of reality like everything else is, no one knows why, but knowing what I know now. Zeno is probably responsible,"

"The first demons right,"

"Yup, most of them were Kaioshin, that were just born wrong, well not wrong, I could say twisted but...it doesn't really fit either,"

"With free will," I say after a few minutes

"Free will, what do you mean?" She asks

"Towa told me that the first Kaioshin, who became known as the Makaiōshin. They were not exactly on board with serving the universe as a whole and Zeno by extension,"

"Hmm, it could be, even I know only some surface knowledge. Anyway changing the subject, how long is Artoria going to be asleep?" She asks about Vegito's Saber

I purse my lips as I think about her

She is honorable, kind, fair, and a whole lot of other terms can be used to describe her

"Vegito and Connor have her in a forced sleep in order for her...servant-self, to fully merge with her real self," I say still a bit confused

"She is getting stronger right?" Asks Chronoa

"Sort of, not like how we can get stronger but she is," I answer her

I am still behind on my studies into magic and Vegito has been busy for sometime

I have had to make do with what I have

"In what way?" Asks Chronoa

"Artoria possesses what Vegito called a Dragon Core, it is capable of generating incredible amounts of magical energy by her world's standards. Not only that she possesses an impressive resistance to magical attacks, aside from her being a good tactician, and a leader, she is a good fit for our little group but..."

"That standards of that world are way below ours right,"

"Yup, Vegito wants Artoria to become stronger, through several different ways. He also considered the option of giving her Ki at some point before shelving that idea for later," I tell her

"Why? With Ki she could become unfathomably more powerful than ever,"

"Yes, however, she would lose the benefits of her servant self as something called the Spirit Origin would break if she goes through such a drastic change, for now,"

"Wait, Dragon Core, you mean like Magic Cores," Says Chronoa as I blink

"I am not sure...do you have any examples," 

"I sure do, a Magic Core, at least here can be formed by practically anyone and it doesn't really matter if they have an aptitude for magic or not, so long as they are alive or managed to keep their bodies after death,"

"A Magic Core is formed by channeling the power of their soul into a part of their bodies, and this can have several benefits depending on where it is formed," Says Chronoa bringing out a whiteboard as I pay close attention

"Listen, only one Magic Core can be formed, if you try to form another, you will only destroy the Magic Core you already have and the effects can vary depending on where the first Magic Core is located..."
