Betrayal

Rain was pouring outside as I was done with all of my chores at my workplace.Looking at the clock it read 11:15 pm.I still have got 45mins left. I took all of my things and the cake I've bought for my boyfriend Jake. I opened my umbrella and went straight to his house so as to celebrate his birthday. After 15 minutes,I was already at his door. Surprisingly I found his door opened so I went inside. I was shocked to see woman shoes inside. As I continued going in,I heard some noises coming from inside.Opening his door,I found him tangled with my bestie Sasha."Jake,Jake how can you do this to me." I asked him tears threatening to come out. Both Sasha and Jake were shocked. Sasha covered herself as she looked at me with a smirk. "Hi Lyra. Didn't thought that you will come this time. I was giving Jake his birthday gift, you know the best one." Sasha told me as she pulled herself toward Jake.

"Lyra what are you doing here? You're not welcome here. You just can't come like your house." Jake said angrily. "I came to wish you happy birthday but I see that you don't need one.Well continue with your work, I'll be leaving now." I said before turning and left. I was walking outside rain pouring at me but I didn't care. What I was thinking was how those two people I believed and trusted the most betrayed me. My thoughts made me forgot that I was in the middle of the street when suddenly a car screeched before me.I couldn't remember what happened next as I blacked out.
