Chapter 3

when Orion Nolan woke up he noticed that his hand was stained with blood and looked at Annabeth who was dead full of blood, Orion Nolan realized that he had killed her, oh God", he whispered. "Why did I kill her?".

Orion's eyes filled with tears and he began sobbing uncontrollably, "I didn't mean to". After a few minutes he got up and went downstairs to the kitchen where he threw himself onto the counter crying.

After 20 minutes or so of crying Orion decided to calm down, so he went upstairs and found a piece of paper in his backpack, after reading it and thinking for a couple minutes he decided to write a letter to his mom. So he wrote a small letter to explain why he didn't tell anyone his whereabouts and then left it on his mother's mailbox, Orion Nolan decided to flee the city as quickly as possible.

Orion put on his shoes and grabbed his backpack and opened the door walking out of the house.

Orion was running away from the city.

He had been running for two days already, he had eaten and drank nothing but water from the rivers for those two days, he was dehydrated and exhausted but he continued to run, every time Orion stopped for a second he had to throw up all the food he had consumed. As he ran he kept seeing images of him stabbing Annabeth in the chest, he couldn't stand the sound of his screams anymore, he couldn't stand the sight of blood.

After about three hours of running Orion finally collapsed. He sat there on the ground trying to catch his breath and think of what to do now, his stomach was hurting him and he was tired. Suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his back and he flinched, he looked behind him and saw a wolf standing behind him with it's teeth bared in a threatening manner at him.
