CHAPTER TWO

Leina opened her eyes slowly to a white painted ceiling, where was she?,she turned her head carefully to the side to find different kinds of machines at her side including an I.V, raising her hand she saw tube connected to it. of course she was in the hospital but why was she there then it came flooding back, her husband! she tried to jump out of the bed but the tubes connected to her body was stopping her and she started removing them, it was during this that a doctor followed by someone who was probably a nurse and a man who she remembered had introduced himself as detective walked in, seeing her pulling the tubes out they rushed to her side and cajoled her back into bed "my husband" she turned to the detective "I want to see my husband"

"Mrs. Livingston, please calmed down" but she couldn't and she grabbed his shirt "detective please take me to him" she begged

" I will ma'am, i just need you to calm down" and she slowly calmed after awhile she loosened her grip

"he is really gone, isn't he?" she asked and the detective nodded "he is gone" she stared up, her eyes looking empty, she couldn't cry even though she wanted to, the tears just refused to come

the detective looked at the woman who had been desperately trying to get out of bed to go find late husband a few minutes ago but is now laying quietly on the bed now staring at nothingness "we were able to reach your sister, she would be here soon" he wasn't sure the woman had heard him but it doesn't matter her family would be here soon. he watched as the the doctors instructed the nurse before they left the room and he sat there quietly for while before leaving her alone.

Mikail sat lazily on his throne resting his head on his palm and wearing a bored expression as the minister in front of him droned on and on about his report. he was about shutting the man up when the door suddenly burst open cutting the ministers long story and in walked the love of his life looking very angry, 'wow, isn't she cute when angry' he thought in his mind

the ministers all looked at the young lady who would dare barge in on the king's meeting as she walked up to stand below the throne glaring daggers at the king who, only kept smiling back at her "how could you Mikail or shall i say your highness" she fumed but the while the king kept his smile plastered to his face. his pissed Anna off for she climbed up the stairs to the throne ,picked up the wine glass by his side and threw it content on his face which made smile on his face fell and he thundered "everyone shall leave except for lady Anna"

When they were finally alone in the hall, he looked at the woman in front of him "what is your problem? "he asked

" that woman whom is still breathing in the fourth realm is my problem?" she yelled at him

" what woman?"

" your late brother's wife sir" she answered eyeing him

Mikail sighed and stood up walking away from her towards the door but paused when something hit him on the back, he took a very deep breath before turning back to her "don't ever do that again" he stated flatly

"is there really no hope for us, after all this , after all my patience" tears began streaming down her cheeks

" no one said that"

"you have to marry her Mikail and you once told me there is only one room for two women in your life"

He walked back to her and held in his arms "Anna we can work something out" he said laying kisses in her hair

" i could get it done you know, perhaps because of your brother you do not want harm her " she looked up at him "i can hire some people to have her killed" she searched his eyes for any sign of consent, he ran his fingers down her cheek before folding them around her throat choking her "you will do no such thing " he said glaring daggers into her soul "if any harm comes to the woman, "I WILL KILL YOU" he stated emphasizing every syllable lowly before dropping her to the floor, he scoffed "tell every of your supporter that as well or their heads will roll including yours if any harm comes to her" with that he walked out.
