Everyone gathered in the grand Punishment Hall to hear the King's decision regarding Sarah's fate.
The Punishment Hall was much different than Sarah's imagination based on what Maria had told her. Like any other country, it had now adopted the modern settings of the Courtroom.
The thing that hadn't changed was the terrible-looking cage especially made for the criminals in the center of the hall.
Behind the cage, there was a sitting arrangement for the ministers, administrators, and other important figures in Kontumba.
To the left of the cage was a small stage-like gallery where the prosecutor and his team were sitting and preparing for the trial.
To the right of the cage was a similar gallery in which the Grandmaster and other mentors were seated as juries.
There were no seats for complainant and defendant as every case was against the State and the complainant was none other than the Kontumbian government.
