Emergency Meeting

2 years passed by in the blink of an eye…

In these two years, many events had taken place.

Firstly, Uchiha Keshiro had consolidated his position as the Clan Head within mere months. Originally, the Uchiha Clan Elders thought that if Keshiro was the Clan Head, they could use their old age and control his actions.

But, this was unacceptable for Keshiro. He had personally paid a visit to the Clan Elders who were against him, and for some reason, after his visit, they would turn brain dead.

Now… many other Uchiha Clan Members were aware that Keshiro wouldn't take anything lying down. He would immediately strike… and his strike wouldn't contain any mercy.

In these two years, he had ordered a strict training regimen for the Uchiha Clan Members. The training regimen was fixed for a particular age-group. Minor alterations were acceptable for some Uchiha Clan Members who could be considered exceptions.

Another thing he did was that he created a special orphanage, exclusively for Uchiha Clan Members whose parents had died due to some reason. The child would be allowed to play with other kids in the orphanage and also trained by the caretaker.

In this manner, the entire Uchiha Clan was seemingly changing. The once arrogant clan without much strength to back their arrogance was slowly but surely getting stronger.

Uchiha Kazuma had started living some distance away from the Uchiha Clan District. This was his own way of telling that he won't be interfering with the clan matters any longer.

However, Keshiro and Mikoto would still come to visit him regularly. At least once in two days. 3 servants were working for Kazuma, they would answer his needs at any time.

Keshiro wanted to give his own Sharingan eyes… But Kazuma had been very adamant in telling Keshiro to save it up for one of his descendants.

After Keshiro had acquired the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, he had seen a vision. It was something which had shaken him up. He didn't dare to talk about it with anyone… After all, it was far too terrifying.

This was one of his reasons for asking the entire Uchiha clan to train as if their life depended on it.

Meanwhile, Jiraya had gone to the Land of Lightning, and he was following Orochimaru's trail. From what he had found out, it didn't seem as if Orochimaru had made any contact with the Third Raikage.

In fact, the Third Raikage didn't even seem aware that Orochimaru was present in Kumo.

Orochimaru was well aware that no matter what he said to the Third Raikage, that brute would still attack him. That man had little to no brain for any scheming… He was unlike the Third Tsuchikage who could immediately see an opportunity and act upon it.

But… Orochimaru also didn't want to join hands with Iwa. Perhaps it was because he held an innate dislike for the Land of Rock.

That is why, after figuring out that Jiraiya was pursuing him, Orochimaru fled to the Land of Wind… To the Sunagakure. Although he was surprised how Jiraiya had managed to find him in the Land of Lightning considering he had covered up his tracks, he didn't think about it too much.

Jiraiya was quite strange in these kinds of things. He had quite a huge spy network, so maybe someone did find a clue regarding Orochimaru.

Anyway, he had great plans for the Sunagakure. The Third Kazekage couldn't be said to be an impulsive man, he was an opportunist. Just a little more cautious than the Third Tsuchikage…

The war between Kumo and Iwa against Konoha had begun!

Their shinobi had already started breaching the borders to attack the borders of the Land of Fire.

Meanwhile, the shinobi at the land of the fire were relentlessly defending. Although the war had started, all the Three Great Villages were aware of the fact that this was still not the true start of the War.

The Third Hokage was well aware that Iwa and Kumo were just making appearances. In reality, they were using this to take complete authority in their hands.

Naturally, the third Hokage wasn't going to be left behind. He also called out for an emergency council meeting. In it, all the Clan Heads within Konoha had been asked to come.

It was a rule since the Tobirama's time that any Clan head who didn't come when the emergency council meeting was announced, that clan would be renounced by Konoha. After dealing with the war, that clan would face destruction!

And… the only clan which refused to enter the meeting was the Senju Clan.

The Third Hokage couldn't be said to be disappointed. In fact, he could hardly hold back a gleeful smile appearing on his face.

This was good… This was very good.

He now held a chip with which he could threaten Senju Araki. Surely even he wouldn't want to become the entire Konoha's enemy.

Keshiro had attended this meeting, and he saw that Senju Araki hadn't come. He started drawing conclusions about this fact.

'It seems that the relations between the Senju Clan and the Hokage had degraded to the lowest point. Moreover, it seemed that he is staying true to his word. He doesn't even want the seat of Hokage… He is truly letting someone from the Uchiha Clan become the Hokage. Although I didn't think of him as someone going back on his word, still, this does surprise me.'

Knowing that this could be considered a chance, Keshiro was quite interactive in this emergency meeting.

He made many points regarding where the Uchiha clan would attack and everything. And ultimately, regarding the Uchiha Clan, it was decided that some of Uchiha Clan Jounins would lead a team into the Iwa Borders through Ame and inflict a massive blow on Iwa.

Now… although the Hokage held complete authority, he naturally wouldn't do something that could sever his relations with any of the other Clan Heads. Moreover, the Hokage realised that he could use the Uchiha Clan to go against the Senju Clan. Knowing the rivalry between the two clans, the Uchiha Clan should be more than willing to do so…

Before this emergency meeting was called out, the Hokage did say, "You all should be aware of the rules and regulations of Konoha. This was an Emergency Meeting, yet the Senju Clan Head didn't make his appearance here. Since it's our founding clan, I will be giving them a single chance of apology. If they don't do so, the Senju Clan will be renounced by Konoha and will become our enemy!"

The Clan Heads naturally understood what he wanted to say. Although they all held different perspective of this matter, none spoke their mind on this. They were well aware that the Hokage was using rules to justify himself. If someone did try to take the Senju Clan's side, the Third Hokage wouldn't mind purging them as well.
