(Jared's POV)

Tunnel…

"Ooo, everyone look up!" I said, happily. "Now that was a lot of fun!"

I stood up quickly, and I put Ebb and Flow in dual pistols mode. I placed the guns inside the holsters that's at the side of the suit I'm wearing.

Everyone else struggles to their feet on an artificial surface, although the tunnel walls are the same.

"Momoko? Rena? Kaede?" I asked, looking at the three Magical Girls. "You okay?"

"Yeah." Momoko said.

"Yes." Rena said, crossing her arms.

"Yeah." Kaede said.

"Good." I said, smiling. "I'm glad mostly everyone is alright."

"Um, where are we?"

"Exactly where we were." River said.

"No we're not."

"Move your feet." The Doctor said, sonicing a circular hatch in the floor, with six inset lights around it.

"Doctor, what am I looking at? Explain." Amy said.

"Oh, come on, Amy, think. The ship crashed with the power still on, yeah? So what else is still on?"

"Now that's not normal." Rena said, and we're standing upside down on the hull of the Byzantium. "It's like a Witch's labyrinth but with more science involved. Talk about a rip off. And the Angels, they're more deadly than Familiars."

"Rena, just because it's more science fiction. Doesn't mean that it's similar to what you face on a daily basis. This is artificial gravity. One good jump, and up we fell. Shot out the grav globe to give us an updraft, and here we are." The Doctor said.

"Doctor, Jared, the statues. They look more like Angels now." Momoko said.

"They're feeding on the radiation from the wreckage, draining all the power from the ship, restoring themselves. Within an hour, they'll be an army." The Doctor said, as the circular hatch opens. A light goes bang. "They're taking out the lights. Look at them. Look at the Angels. Into the ship, now. Quickly, all of you."

"How?" Amy asked.

The Doctor and I dropped through the open hatch into a circular corridor.

"Now that was a lot of fun." I said, smiling. "Come on! Get in here, you guys!"

From Amy and the KMR triangle's point of view, we are standing on the side of a vertical tube.

"Doctor! Jared!" Amy said.

"It's just a corridor. The gravity orientates to the floor. Now, in here, all of you. Don't take your eyes off the Angels. Move, move, move." The Doctor said.

Corridor…

"Okay, men. Go, go, go!" Octavian said.

"What do we do?" Rena asked, while the Doctor works on a control panel. "Do you have a plan?"

"Nope." I said, holding Ebb and Flow in dual pistols mode. "The Angels, I think they can jump. Or fly like the Daleks. I don't know for sure."

"Don't jinx us." Rena said, and the hatch closes. "You've been too much of a mess lately."

"But, um, the Angels. They're here now. But I think we��re finished, if it's dark." Kaede said, sadly.

A bulkhead further along the corridor starts to close.

"Run!" I said, holding Kaede's hand.

"This whole place is a death trap." Momoko said.

We don't make it.

"No, it's a time bomb. Well, it's a death trap and a time bomb. And now it's a dead end. Nobody panic. Oh, just me, Jared, and Kaede then. What's through here?" The Doctor asked.

"It's the secondary flight deck." I said, squeezing Kaede's hand.

"Okay. So we've basically run up the inside of a chimney, yeah? So what if the gravity fails?" Amy asked.

"I've thought about that." The Doctor said.

"And?"

"And we'll all plunge to our deaths. See? I've thought about it. The security protocols are still live. There's no way to override them. It's impossible."

River is working, "How impossible?"

"We've got two minutes." I said, and the outer hatch is open. "We don't have much time."

"The hull is breached and the power's failing." Octavian said.

"You guys." Rena said, while the lights go out.

"What do we do?" Kaede asked, as an arm is silhouetted against the open hatch.

"Sir, incoming." Marco said.

"Doctor? Lights." Amy said.

"Crap." I said, when the Angel is starting to enter.

"Four Weeping Angels." Momoko said, and there's another flicker, and four are inside and the hatch is closed behind them. "You said you tricked four last time. Can you trick them like this?"

"Clerics, keep watching them." Octavian said.

"And don't look at their eyes. Anywhere else. Not the eyes. I've isolated the lighting grid. They can't drain the power now." The Doctor said.

"Good work, Doctor." Octavian said.

"Yes. Good, good, good. Good in many ways. Good you like it so far."

"So far? Is it going to get worse from here?" Rena asked.

"Well, there's only one way to open this door. I guess I'll need to route all the power in this section through the door control." The Doctor said.

"Good. Fine. Do it." Octavian said.

"The only problem with that is the Doctor has to turn off all the lights." I said, grabbing Kaede's hand. "That's the main downside to this plan. It's stupid, but effective."

"How long for?"

"We need a couple seconds. That's all we need. A glimmer of hope to get through this. Maybe a bit longer than that."

"Maybe?" Octavian asked.

"Jared's guessing. We're being attacked by statues in a crashed ship. There isn't a manual for this." The Doctor said.

"Doctor, Jared, we lost the torches. We'll be in total darkness." Amy said, angrily.

"No other way. Bishop."

"Doctor Song, I've lost good Clerics today. You trust these men?" Octavian asked.

"I absolutely trust them." River said.

"The Doctor's not some kind of madman, and Jared's not some kind of crazed fanboy, then?"

"I absolutely trust them."

"Excuse me." The Doctor said, walking away.

"I'm taking your word, because you're the only one who can manage these guys. But that only works so long as the Doctor doesn't know who you are and if Jared doesn't find out who killed him. You cost me any more men, and I might just tell them. Understood?" Octavian asked, looking at River.

"Understood." River said.

"Okay, Doctor, Jared. We've got your backs."

"Thank you, Bishop." I said, holding Ebb and Flow. "I really appreciate it."

"Combat distance, ten feet. As soon as the lights go down, continuous fire. Full spread over the hostiles. Do not stop firing while the lights are out. Shot gun protocol. We don't have bullets to waste."

"Amy, when the lights go down, the wheel should release. Spin it clockwise four turns." The Doctor said.

"Ten." Amy and Kaede said, at the same time.

"Son of a, Kaede's counting down." I said, telepathically.

"Is that bad?" Rena asked, telepathically.

"Ready!" The Doctor said, plunging his sonic screwdriver into a control unit.

"On my count, then. God be with us all. Three, two, one, fire!" Octavian said.

"Yes, it is." I said, telepathically. "You'll know why in a few, once we're out of here."

The lights go out, the Clerics start shooting at the approaching Angels.

"Turn!" The Doctor said.

"Doctor, Jared, it's opening. It's working." Amy said.

We get the bulkhead open just enough to squeeze through.

"Fall back!" The Doctor said, and he is last through the bulkhead.

It clangs shut again.

We ran along a short corridor and into...

Secondary Flight Deck…

"Doctor, quickly." River said.

"Doctor!" Amy said.

"Um, that was close." Kaede said, when the Doctor dodges inside at the last second, as the door closes, and the Time Lord runs to the controls.

"Too close to comfort." Momoko said.

"Great, they're trying to get in." Rena said, crossing her arms.

The Angels thump on the door and the wheel starts turning.

"Doctor! What are you doing?" Amy asked.

Octavian has placed a device on the door. The wheel stops turning, "Magnetized the door. Nothing could turn that wheel now."

"You sure about that?" Rena asked.

The wheel turns.

"Dear God!" Octavian said.

"Ah, now you're getting it. You've bought us time though. That's good. I am good with time." The Doctor said.

"Doctor." Amy said.

"They're so persistent." Rena said, as the wheel on a second door to the right of the main one starts to turn.

"Seal that door. Seal it now." Octavian said.

Marco obeys.

"We're surrounded." Momoko said.

And now the door to the left.

"Seal it. Seal that door. Doctor, Jared, how long have we got?" Octavian asked.

"Five minutes, max." I said, kicking my foot back and forth.

"Nine." Amy and Kaede said, at the same time.

"Jared's right. It's five." The Doctor said.

"Five. Right. Yeah." Amy said.

"Um, it's five minutes." Kaede said, sadly.

"Amy, why'd you and Kaede say nine?" The Doctor asked.

"We didn't." Amy said.

"We need another way out of here." Momoko said.

"There isn't one. We're surrounded by Weeping Angels. Which looks like they're more dangerous by Witches." Rena said, crossing her arms.

"Yeah, there is. Course there is. This is a galaxy class ship. Goes for years between planet falls. So, what do they need?" The Doctor asked.

"Of course." River said.

"Of course what? What do they need?" Amy asked.

"Can we get in there?" Octavian asked.

"Well, it's a sealed unit, but they must have installed it somehow. This whole wall should slide up. There's clamps. Release the clamps." The Doctor said.

"What's through there? What do they need?" Amy asked.

"They need to breathe." I said, happily. "Thank you, I do love nature a good amount."

The rear wall of the flight deck slides up to reveal something awesome.

"But that's...that's a…" Kaede said, in awe.

"It's an oxygen factory." River said.

"It's a forest." Amy said.

"Yeah, it's a forest. It's an oxygen factory." River said.

"Maybe if we're lucky. And I have good timing on my side." Momoko said. "It could be an escape route."

"Eight." Amy and Kaede said, at the same time.

"Kaede, you said something." Rena said, looking at her servant.

"Um, I didn't say anything." Kaede said.

"Is there another exit? Scan the architecture, we don't have time to get lost in there." The Doctor said.

"On it. Stay where you are until I've checked the Rad levels." Octavian said.

"But trees, on a space ship?" Amy asked.

"Oh, this place has way more than trees." I said, leaning against the console. "This place is way better than trees. And if Viridi was real, she would be totally against this."

"Amy, you and Kaede are going to love this. Treeborgs. Trees plus technology. Branches become cables become sensors on the hull. A forest sucking in starlight, breathing out air. It even rains. There's a whole mini-climate. This vault is an ecopod running right through the heart of the ship." The Doctor said.

"This is basically the Pirates of the Caribbean. Where the Black Pearl was stuck inside a bottle. But instead of a pirate ship. It's a forest inside a bottle on a spaceship. And it's inside a maze. Talk about meta and complicated."

"Jared's right, he's as excited as me for this. Have I impressed you yet, Amy Pond?"

"Seven." Amy and Kaede said, at the same time.

"Wait, why did you say seven?" Rena asked, telepathically.

"Kaede, are you okay?" Momoko asked, telepathically.

"She's not. Kaede, you said seven." I said, telepathically.

"No. I didn't." Kaede said, telepathically.

"Yeah, you did."

"Doctor, Jared, there's an exit, far end of the ship, into the Primary Flight Deck." Octavian said.

"Oh, good. That's where we need to go." The Doctor said.

"Plotting a safe path now."

"Quick as you like."

"Doctor? Jared? Excuse me? Hello, Doctor, Jared? Angel Bob here, sir." Bob said, his voice over the communicator.

"Oh, Angel Bob, the Weeping Angel I was looking for." I said, leaning against the console. "How are you? Did you attend a concert by μ's? Oops, wrong subject."

"The Angels are wondering what the both of you hope to achieve."

"Achieve? We're not achieving anything. We're just hanging. It's nice in here. Consoles, comfy chairs, a forest. How's things with you?" The Doctor asked.

"The Angels are feasting, sir. Soon we will be able to absorb enough power to consume this vessel, this world. and all the stars and worlds beyond."

"Well, we've got comfy chairs. Did I mention?"

"We have no need of comfy chairs." Bob said, his voice over the communicator.

"I made him say comfy chairs."

"Six." Amy and Kaede said, at the same time.

"Okay, Bob, enough chat. Here's what I want to know. What have you done to Amy and Kaede?" The Doctor asked.

"There is something in their eyes." Bob said, his voice over the communicator.

"What's in their eyes?" Momoko asked.

"We are."

"Um, what's he talking about?" Kaede asked. "Five."

"Doctor, Jared, I'm five. I mean, five. Fine! I'm fine." Amy said, angrily.

"You and Kaede are counting." River said.

"Counting?"

"Amy, you and Kaede are counting down from ten. You have been for a couple of minutes." Rena said, crossing her arms. "It's like the Rumor of the Misery Rhyton all over again. With what Iroha had to deal with, with Felicia and Kyoko."

"Why?" Kaede asked.

"I don't know. You just are."

"Well, counting down to what?" Amy asked.

"I don't know." The Doctor said.

"We shall take them. We shall take all of you. We shall have dominion over all time and space." Bob said, his voice over the communicator.

"For fuck's same, get a life, Bob." I said, angrily. "Man. Really have to control my temper."

"There's power on this ship, but nowhere near that much." The Doctor said.

"With respect, sir, there's more power on this ship than you yet understand." Bob said, his voice over the communicator.

"That's a bit loud." Momoko said.

There is a screeching sound.

"What's that? Dear God, what is it?" River asked.

"They're back. We have to stay on guard."

"It's hard to put in your terms, Doctor Song, but as best I understand it, the Angels are laughing." Bob said, his voice coming out of the communicator.

"Laughing?" The Doctor asked.

"Because you haven't noticed yet, sir. The Doctor in the Tardis hasn't noticed. Only Jared has noticed, since he has the foreknowledge of this."

"Doctor." Kaede said, sadly. "Jared."

"No. Wait. There's something I've missed." The Doctor said.

"A crack in time." I said, grabbing Kaede's hand. "Yeah, I saw a couple of those while on Earth. Around Ealing, Mitakihara, Kamihama, and in Cardiff."

A steaming W crack in the bulkhead above the entrance, and it is widening.

"That's, that's, that's like the crack from my bedroom wall from when I was a little girl." Amy said, in awe.

"Yes. Two parts of space and time that should never have touched." The Doctor said.

"Okay, enough. We're moving out." Octavian said.

"Agreed. Doctor? Jared?" River asked.

"Yeah, fine." The Doctor said.

"That's fine with me." I said, walking towards the crack.

"What are you doing?" Rena asked.

"We'll be right with you, Rena. Just go on without us."

The Doctor scans the crack.

"We're not leaving without you." River said.

"Oh yes, you are. Bishop?" The Doctor asked.

"Miss Pond, Doctor Song, Miss Minami, Miss Akino, Miss Togame, now!" Octavian said, angrily.

"Doctor? Jared?" Amy asked.

"Come on!" Momoko said.

"So, what are you? Oh, that's bad. Ah, that's extremely very not good." The Doctor said.

"Doctor, the cracks in time, they're a bad thing." I said, and the Doctor and I turned around to find ourselves surrounded by Angels. "The T…"

"Do not blink." The Doctor said.

"I know. I know. Don't blink. Blink and you're dead."

One grabs the back of the Doctor's jacket collar and another one grabbed the hood of my hoodie.

"Argh!" The Doctor said.

(Open POV)

Forest...

"Amy? Kaede? Amy, Kaede, what's wrong?" River asked.

Secondary Flight Deck…

"Why are we not dead then?" The Doctor asked.

The Angels are reaching towards the crack.

"I don't know." I said, looking at the Doctor. "But the Angels touching the cracks in time is a bad thing."

"I mean, is that it? Is that the power that brought you here?" The Doctor asked.

"It is what brought them here. The pure Time Energy, Raggedy Man. But they can't feed on that, because it's stupid. And ridiculous, and dumb. And I'm like, why? The hell?"

"That's now power, that's the fire at the end of the universe. I'll tell you something else." The Doctor said.

Bang! The Doctor and I ran into the forest without our jacket.

"Never let us talk!" I said, happily. "Because the Doctor and I love talking."

Forest…

"Amy, Kaede, what's wrong?" River asked.

"Four." Amy and Kaede said, at the same time.

Amy and Kaede sway and sit down, then the two gingers lie on the mossy tree trunk.

"Med scanner, now." River said.

"Doctor Song, we can't stay here. We've got to keep moving." Octavian said.

"We wait for the Doctor and Jared." Rena said, crossing her arms.

"Our mission is to make this wreckage safe and neutralise the Angels. Until that is achieved…"

"Father Octavian, when the Doctor and Jared are in the room, your one and only mission is to keep them alive long enough to get everyone else home. And trust me, it's not easy. Now, if they're dead back there, I'll never forgive myself. And if they're alive, I'll never forgive them. And, Doctor, Jared, you're standing right behind me, aren't you?" River asked.

"Oh, yeah." The Doctor said.

"Yup, we are." Jared said, his hands inside his pocket. "I'll have Kanoko make me another red and blue fiery hoodie. When I drop the KMR triangle in Kamihama. Because this adventure is really long and dumb. Ugh!"

"Doctor, I hate you. And Jared, you really are like Rena." River said, looking between the Doctor and Jared. "You haven't reached Yachiyo level yet."

"You don't hate me. Bishop, the Angels are in the forest." The Doctor said.

"We need visual contact on every line of approach." Octavian said.

"How did you get past them?" River asked.

"We found a crack in the wall and told them it was the end of the universe." Jared said, smiling.

"What was it?" Kaede asked.

"The end of the universe. Let's have a look, then." The Doctor said.

"So, what's wrong with me and Kaede?" Amy asked.

"Nothing's wrong. Both of you are fine." Momoko said, looking down at Kaede.

"Everything's wrong. Both of you are dying." Rena said, crossing her arms.

"Rena!"

"Yes, you're right. If we lie to them, they'll get better." Rena said, annoyed.

"Right. Amy, Amy, Amy. Kaede, Kaede, Kaede. What's the matter with Amelia and Kaede? Something's in their eyes. What does that mean? Does it mean anything?" The Doctor asked.

"Doctor." Amy and Kaede said, at the same time. "Jared."

"Busy."

"Scared."

"Course you two are scared. You both are dying. Shut up."

"Got it, Spaceman. Let's figure this out together, right? I can't remember all the details. All I know is that this is important." Jared said, leaning against a tree. "We need to think."

"What happened? They stared at the Angel. They looked into the eyes of an Angel for too long…" The Doctor said.

"Sir! Angel incoming." Marco said.

"And here." Phillip said.

"Keep visual contact. Do not let it move." Octavian said.

"Come on, come on, come on. Wakey, wakey. They watched an Angel climb out of the screen. They stared at the Angel and, and…" The Doctor said.

"The image of an Angel is an Angel." Kaede said.

"A living mental image in a living human mind. But we stare at them to stop them getting closer. We don't even blink, and that is exactly what they want. Because as long as our eyes are open, they can climb inside. There are Angels in their minds. And that'll cause impurities in Kaede's Soul Gem in the process."

The face of an Angel is visible in Amy's pupil.

Jared looked over at Kaede's pupil to see that there is a face of an Angel visible in hers too, "Yup. Just as I thought. The two gingers having Angels. How ironic and crazy."

"Three." Amy and Kaede said, at the same time.

"Doctor, it's coming. I can feel it. I'm going to die." Amy said.

"Same. This, this really scares me." Kaede said, as scared as Amy.

"Please just shut up. I'm thinking. And Jared hasn't revealed much at all. Now, counting. What's that about? Bob, why are they making them count?" The Doctor asked.

"To make them afraid, sir." Bob said, his voice over the communicator.

"Okay, but why? What for?"

"For fun, sir."

The Doctor throws the communicator away in annoyance.

"Doctor, what's happening to me and Kaede? Explain." Amy said.

"Amy, inside your head, and inside Kaede's head, in the vision centres of your brains, there's an Angel. It's like there's a screen, a virtual screen inside your minds and the Angel is climbing out of it, and it's coming to shut you off." The Doctor said.

"What do we do?" Kaede asked. "To stop it."

"If it was a real screen, what would we do? We'd pull the plug. We'd kill the power. But we can't just knock them out, the Angel would just take over."

"Then what? Quickly." Momoko said. "I can't lose Kaede. She keeps me and Rena grounded."

"We've got to shut down the vision centres of their brains. We've got to pull the plug. Starve the Angels." The Doctor said.

"Doctor, Jared, they've got seconds." River said.

"Oh, I remember now!" Jared said, happily. "I know how to save them! How do you starve your lungs?"

"I'd stop breathing." Rena said.

"Amy, Kaede, close your eyes."

"No. No, I don't want to." Amy said, sadly.

"Neither do I." Kaede said, frowning.

"Good, because that's not the both of you, those are the Angels inside you lot. They��re afraid. Do it. Close your eyes." The Doctor said.

Amy and Kaede squeezes their eyes shut. The med scanner changes from red to green.

"They're normalising. Oh, you did it. You did it." River said, looking between the Doctor and Jared.

"Sir? Two more incoming." Phillip said.

"Three more over here." Pedro said.

"Still weak. Dangerous to move them. And Kaede's Soul Gem is full of impurities, she can't last long. Even with a couple Grief Seeds." River said.

"So, can we open our eyes now?" Kaede asked.

"Amy, Kaede, listen to me. If you open your eyes now for more than a second, you will die. The Angels are still inside you. We haven't stopped it, we've just sort of paused it. You've used up your countdown. You cannot open your eyes." The Doctor said.

"Doctor, Jared, we're too exposed here. We have to move on." Octavian said.

"For fuck's sake, we're too exposed everywhere! And Amy and Kaede can't move. I brought Kaede along because of her magical abilities. She would have been able to delete Angels for a bit. But now she can't!" Jared said, pacing back and forth. "And anyway, that's no longer the plan I had. Since I always have plans that change due to my interfering."

"There's a plan?" River asked.

"Yup, there is one. But I forgot how it's supposed to go. And I'm giving the Doctor time to figure it out."

"Right! Father, you and your Clerics, you're going to stay here, look after Amy and Kaede. If anything happens to them, Jared and I will hold every single one of you personally responsible, twice. River, Jared, Momoko, Rena, all of us, we're going to find the Primary Flight Deck which is…" The Doctor said, as he wets a finger and holds it up. "A quarter of a mile straight ahead, and from there we're going to stabilise the wreckage, stop the Angels, and cure Amy and Kaede."

"How?" Rena asked. "How are we going to do that?"

"The Doctor will do a thing." Jared said, squeezing Rena's hand.

"What thing?" River asked.

"I don't know. It's a thing in progress. Respect the thing. Moving out!" The Doctor said.

"Doctor, Jared, I'm coming with you. My Clerics'll look after Miss Pond and Miss Akino. These are my best men. They'd lay down their lives in their protection." Octavian said.

"Well, we don't need you, Octavian. The Doctor and I. We have Rena and Momoko, two useful girls. And we have River too." Jared said, annoyed.

"I don't care. Where Doctor Song goes, I go."

"Wait. What? Are you two engaged or something?" Momoko asked.

"Yes, in a manner of speaking. Marco, you're in charge till I get back." Octavian said.

"Sir." Marco said.

"Doctor? Jared? Please, can't Kaede and I come with you?" Amy asked.

"Yeah, um, can we?" Kaede asked.

"You'd slow us down, Miss Pond, Miss Akino." Octavian said.

"I don't want to sound selfish, but you'd really speed us up." Amy said.

"Amy, Kaede, the both of you are safer here." Jared said, smiling. "We can't fight and carry the both of you. You'll just get us all killed. And we can't protect you two on the move."

"Amy, we'll be back for you and Kaede soon as we can, I promise." The Doctor said.

"You always say that." Amy said.

"I always come back. And so does Jared, he comes back more than me. Good luck, everyone. Behave. Do not let those girls open their eyes. And keep watching the forest. Stop those Angels advancing. Amy, Kaede, later. River, going to need your computer!" The Doctor said, running off.

"Yeah. Later." Amy said.

Jared is walking next to Momoko and Rena.

"So, why did we leave Amy and Kaede behind?" Rena asked.

"Because I don't want to make the same mistake Homura and Kyoko did." Jared said, sadly. "They messed up before."

"What are you talking about?" Momoko asked.

"Right. Parallel world. It didn't happen here."

"What didn't?" Rena asked.

"This is the problem with knowing way too much. For certain universes and timelines."

"It's okay. You've got us to help you." Momoko said.

"I do." Jared said, happily.

The Doctor, Jared, Momoko, and Rena catch up with Octavian and River, and inputs the readings from his sonic screwdriver into her mini-computer.

"What's that?" Momoko asked.

"Er, readings from a crack in the wall." The Doctor said.

"How can a crack in the wall be the end of the universe?" Rena asked. "That should be impossible."

"Don't know, but here's what I think. One day there's going to be a very big bang. So big every moment in history, past and future, will crack." The Doctor said.

"Is that possible? How?" River asked.

"How can you be engaged, in a manner of speaking?"

"Well, sucker for a man in uniform."

"Doctor Song's in my personal custody. I released her from the Stormcage Containment Facility four days ago and I am legally responsible for her until she's accomplished her mission and earned her pardon. Just so we understand each other." Octavian said.

"You were in Stormcage?" The Doctor asked.

"What's Stormcage?" Rena asked.

"What is it?" Momoko asked.

"Stormcage. It's a prison." Jared said, sadly.

The computer chirps.

"What? What is that?" River asked.

"The date. The date of the explosion, where the crack begins." The Doctor said.

"And for those of us who can't read the base code of the universe?" River asked.

"Amy's time." The Doctor said.

Back at the mossy log.

"So, what's happening? Anything happening out there?" Amy asked.

"I, I don't know." Kaede said, her eyes still closed. "It could be bad. I think. What's happening?"

The Angels push their hands into the Treeborgs, and the light starts to flicker.

"The Angels are still grouping. Are you getting this too?" Marco asked.

"The trees? Yeah." Phillip said.

"Um, what's wrong with the trees?" Kaede asked.

"Here too, sir. They're ripping the Treeborgs apart." Pedro said.

"And here. They're taking out the lights." Phillip said.

"What is it? What's happening? Tell us. We can't see." Amy said.

"It's the trees, ma'am. The trees are going out." Marco said.

Outside the Primary Flight Deck…

"It doesn't open it from here, but it's the Primary Flight Deck. This has got to be a service hatch or something." Octavian said.

"Hurry up and open it. Time's running out." Rena said, crossing her arms. "We don't know how long we have until the Angels realize what we're doing."

"What? What did you say? Time's running out, is that what you said?" The Doctor asked.

"Yeah. I just meant…" Rena said.

"I know what you meant. Hush. But what if it could?"

"What if what could?" Momoko asked.

"Well, time." Jared said, frowning. "What if time can run out?"

"Got it." Octavian said.

Forest…

"Angels advancing, sir." Phillip said.

"Over here again." Pedro said.

"Weapons primed. Combat distance five feet. Wait for it." Marco said.

"What is it? What's happening? Just tell us!" Amy said.

"Keep your position with your friend and, ma'am, both of you, keep your eyes shut. Wait." Marco said, and a bright light floods through the forest. "The ship's not on fire. is it?"

"It can't be. the compressors would have taken care of it. Marco, the Angels have gone. Where'd they go?" Pedro asked.

"What is it? Was it the Angels?" Kaede asked.

"This side's clear too, sir." Phillip said.

"The Angels have gone?" Amy asked.

"There's still movement out there, but away from us now. It's like they're running." Marco said.

"Running from what?" Kaede asked.

"Phillip, Crispin, need to get a closer look at that."

"What are you all looking at? Tell me and Kaede. What's there?" Amy asked.

Amy and Kaede still have their eyes closed.

Outside the Primary Flight Deck…

"Cracks. Cracks in time. Time running out. No, couldn't be. Couldn't be. But how is a duck pond a duck pond if there aren't any ducks?" The Doctor asked.

"Doctor, don't forget, Symphogear and Amy forgot the Daleks." Jared said, holding Rena's hand.

Jared then took out his phone and called Kyoko.

"Hey, what's going on?" Kyoko asked, her voice over the phone.

"Do you remember the Daleks?" Jared asked.

"Daleks? The hell are you on about. What are they?"

"They're these pepper pots. They yell 'Exterminate!' And they have a whisk and a plunger as their weapons. Do you remember any of that?"

"Nope."

"How about the Cybermen? They invaded the world too. Battle of Canary Wharf."

"Are you just messing with me?" Kyoko asked, her voice over the phone.

"No. You aren't supposed to remember them. But do you remember the Master? I mean, Harold Saxon." Jared said.

"Yes. He was in my head. I think. Maybe I was hallucinating. I don't know."

"Thanks, that's all I needed to know." Jared said, ending the call with Kyoko.

"Okay, time can shift. Time can change. Time can be rewritten. Ah. Oh!" The Doctor said, looking at Jared.

Forest…

"It's like, I don't know, a curtain of energy, sort of shifting. Makes you feel weird. Sick." Marco said.

"Do you, um, think it scared the Angels?" Kaede asked.

"What could scare those things?" Pedro asked.

"What are you doing?" Marco asked.

"Point me at the light." Amy said.

"You can't open your eyes." Marco said.

"I can't open them for more than a second, that's what the Doctor said. Still got a bit of countdown left." Amy said. "It's best that I can see them if Kaede can't either. This concerns me more than her."

"You sure?" Kaede asked.

"Positive."

"Ma'am, you can't." Marco said.

"I need to see it. Am I looking the right way? I have to be quick." Amy said.

"Very quick." Marco said, pointing Amy at the light.

"Okay." Amy said, opening her eyes. "It's the same shape. It's the crack in my wall."

���Amy, um, close your eyes." Kaede said, sadly. "Please."

"It's following me! And Jared said it was following him too. How can it be following us?" Amy asked.

Amy falls to her knees and Marco puts his hand over her eyes.

"Amy, are you okay?" Kaede asked.

"Yeah. It was the same shape." Amy said. "Kaede, as long as you're here. I'm fine."

"Marco, you want me to get a closer look at that?" Pedro asked.

"Go for it. Don't get too close." Marco said.

"Wait, um, how about the other two soldiers?" Kaede asked. "Can't you just wait for them? Until they come back."

Kaede is playing with her hands a little.

"What other two?" Marco asked.

"The ones you sent before." Kaede said.

"I didn't send anyone before."

"You did, we heard you. Crispin and Phillip." Amy said.

"Crispin and who?" Marco asked.

Outside the Primary Flight Deck…

"Doctor Song, get through, now. Doctor? Jared? Doctor, Jared." Octavian said.

"Time can be unwritten." Jared said, his eyes widening. "No wonder I have gaps in my memory! That explains it."

Forest...

"Amy, Kaede, there never was a Crispin or a Phillip on this mission, I promise you." Marco said.

"No, we heard you. Before you sent Pedro, you sent Crispin and Phillip, and now you can't even remember them." Amy said.

"Something happened. I wish Jared was here to explain it." Kaede said, frowning.

"We don't know what, and you don't even remember." Amy said.

"Pedro?" Marco asked.

"Yeah, before you sent Pedro."

"Who's Pedro?"

Outside the Primary Flight Deck…

"It's been happening all around me and Jared and I haven't even noticed. No wonder Jared's been forgetting past events too. And why events that should have happened to him never happened." The Doctor said.

"Doctor, Jared, we have to move." Rena said.

"The CyberKing. A giant Cyberman walks over all of Victorian London and no one remembers. Jared, you and Symphogear were there for that." The Doctor said.

"Was I?" Jared asked, grabbing Rena's hand. "Was that actually an adventure? I can't remember. What's happening to me?"

Jared clutched his head in pain, with Momoko and Rena supporting him from falling.

"We have to move. The Angels could be here any second." Rena said. "We can't stay here much longer."

"Never mind the Angels. There's worse here than Angels." The Doctor said.

An Angel gets its arm around Octavian's throat.

"I beg to differ, sir." Octavian said.

"Let him go." Jared said, squeezing Rena's hand.

"Well, it can't let me go, sir, can it? Not while you're looking at it."

"I can't stop looking at it, it'll kill you."

"It's going to kill me anyway. Think it through. There's no way out of this. Jared, you, Momoko, Rena, and the Doctor have to leave me." Octavian said.

"Can't you squeeze out?" Momoko asked.

"No, it's too tight. You lot have to leave me, ma'am. There's nothing you can do." Octavian said.

Forest…

"Something's happening. Pedro was here a second ago and now you can't even remember him." Kaede said.

"There never was a Pedro. There's only ever been the three of us here." Marco said.

"No, there were six of us. Why can't you remember?" Amy asked.

"Listen. Listen. I need to get a closer look at that light, whatever it is. Don't worry, I won't get too close." Marco said.

"No. No, you can't. You must not do it." Kaede said.

"Here. Spare communicator. I'll stay in touch the whole time." Marco said, handing the device to Amy.

"You won't, because if you go back there what happened to the others will happen to you." Amy said.

"There weren't any others."

"There won't be any you if you go back there."

"Two minutes. I promise."

"Please, just listen to us!"

Outside the Primary Flight Deck…

"Doctor, Jared, there's nothing you can do." Octavian said.

"Yes there is, there's always a way." Jared said, happily. "We can't leave you. You'd be dead if you thought we would up and leave you like this."

"Yes. Yes, I'm dead. And before the both of you go…" Octavian said.

"I'm not going." Jared said, squeezing Rena's hand. "And neither are they."

"Listen to me, it's important. You can't trust them." Octavian said.

"Trust who?" The Doctor asked.

"River Song and Ryuko Matoi. You think you know them, but you don't. You don't understand who or what they are." Octavian said.

"Then tell us."

"I've told the both of you more than I should. Now please, you have to go. It's your duty to your friends." Octavian said.

"Just tell us why River Song was in Stormcage?" The Doctor asked.

"Doctor Song killed a man. And Ryuko killed a man too. Good men. Heroes to many." Octavian said.

"Who's that?" Jared asked. "Who the hell of Ryuko Matoi? And which men did they kill?"

"You don't want to know, sir. You really don't." Octavian said.

"Who did they kill?" Momoko asked.

"Ma'am, the Angels are coming. You, the Doctor, Jared, and Rena have to leave me." Octavian said.

"You'll die." Rena said. "Why do you want us to leave you? Do you want to die?"

"I will die in the knowledge that my courage did not desert me at the end. For that I thank God, and bless the path that takes you all to safety." Octavian said.

"Octavian, I wish I knew you better." Jared said, sadly. "The Doctor does too. Like we could have talked more."

"I think, gentlemen, you know me at my best."

"Ready?" The Doctor asked.

"Content." Octavian said.

The Doctor, Jared, Momoko, and Rena dives through the hatch and closes it.

Primary Flight Deck…

"There's a teleport. If I can get it to work. we can beam the others here. Where's Octavian?" River asked.

"Octavian's dead. And so is that bloody teleport. You're wasting your time, River. Gah, why is time so much slower than usual?" Jared asked.

"Jared. Don't complain." The Doctor said, looking at the fanboy. "River, I'm going to need your communicator."

Forest...

Amy uses the communicator with Kaede next to her, "Hello? Are you there? Hello? Hello?"

"I'm here. I'm fine. Quite close to it now." Marco said, his voice over the communicator.

"So, um, can you come back? Come back now, please." Kaede said.

"It's weird looking at it. It feels really…"

"Really what? Hello? Really what? Hello? Hello? Hello? Please say you're there. Hello? Hello?" Amy asked.

"Amy? Amy? Is that you? Are you there with Kaede?" The Doctor asked, his voice over the communicator.

Primary Flight Deck…

"Doctor? Yes, I'm here with Kaede." Amy said, her voice over the communicator.

"Oh, where are you guys?" Jared asked, leaning against the console. "Are the soldiers with you?"

"They're gone." Kaede said, her voice over the communicator.

Forest…

"There was a light and they walked into the light. Doctor, Jared, they didn't even remember each other." Amy said.

Primary Flight Deck…

"No, they wouldn't remember each other." Rena said. "Of course they wouldn't."

"What is that light?" Momoko asked, looking at the light.

"Time running out. Amy, Kaede, we're sorry, Jared and I made a mistake. We should never have left you there." The Doctor said.

Forest…

"Well, what do we do now?" Amy asked.

Primary Flight Deck…

"So, you've got no other option, Amy. You and Kaede, the both of you. You have to come to us." Rena said, crossing her arms. "The Primary Flight Deck, it's the other end of the forest."

Forest…

"Um, we can't see. We can't open our eyes." Amy said.

Primary Flight Deck…

"Turn on the spot." The Doctor said.

"Sorry, what?" Amy asked, her voice over the communicator.

"Just do it. Turn on the spot."

Forest…

"When the communicator sounds like my screwdriver, that means you're facing the right way. Follow the sound. The two of you have to start moving now. There's Time Energy…" The Doctor said, his voice over the communicator.

Primary Flight Deck…

"Spilling out of that crack, and you and Kaede have to stay ahead of it." The Doctor said.

Forest…

"But the Angels, they're everywhere." Kaede said.

Primary Flight Deck…

"Jared and I, we're sorry, we really are, but the Angels can only kill you." The Doctor said.

Forest…

"What does the Time Energy do?" Amy asked.

Primary Flight Deck…

"Just keep moving!" Rena said, angrily.

Forest…

"Tell us." Kaede said, sadly. "Please."

Primary Flight Deck...

"If the Time Energy catches up with you, you'll never have been born. It will erase every moment…" The Doctor said.

Forest...

"...of your existence. You will never have lived at all." The Doctor said, his voice over the communicator. "Jared got a bit close to the Time Energy. And now he's forgetting adventures he's had with me. That's how bad it is. It's unpredictable."

Primary Flight Deck...

"Now, Amy, Kaede, keep your eyes shut and keep moving." The Doctor said.

"It's never going to work." River said.

"It really won't work." Rena said.

"What else have you got! River! Rena! Tell me!"

"Well, we've got faith and hope." Jared said, smiling. "We believe they'll get through the forest, right? It can't be that hard. I know them. Amy and Kaede."

As Amy and Kaede make their way slowly across the uneven forest floor, there is a clanging sound in the ship.

"What's that?" Momoko asked.

"The Angels running from the fire. They came here to feed on the Time Energy, now it's going to feed on them. Amy, Kaede, listen to me." The Doctor said.

Forest…

"I'm sending a bit of software to your communicator. It's a proximity detector. it'll beep if there's something in your way. You just manoeuvre till the beeping stops." The Doctor said, his voice over the communicator.

Primary Flight Deck...

"Because, Amy, Kaede, this is important." The Doctor said.

Forest...

"The forest is full of Angels." The Doctor said, his voice over the communicator.

Primary Flight Deck…

"The both of you are going to have to walk like you can see." The Doctor said.

Forest…

"Well, what do you mean?" Amy asked.

"Look, just keep moving." The Doctor said, his voice over the communicator.

Primary Flight Deck…

"That Time Energy, what's it going to do?" River asked.

"Er, keep eating." The Doctor said.

"How do we stop it?" Momoko asked.

"We feed it something." Jared said, frowning. "I don't know. Maybe. It looks like a mouth or a smile."

"Feed it what?" River asked.

"A big, complicated space time event should shut it up for a while." The Doctor said.

"Like what, for instance?"

"Like me or Jared, for instance!"

Forest…

The communicator beeps.

"What's that noise?" Kaede asked.

Primary Flight Deck...

"It's a warning. There are Angels round both of you now." The Doctor said.

Forest…

"Amy, Kaede, listen to me. This is going to be hard but I know…" The Doctor said, his voice over the communicator.

Primary Flight Deck…

"...you can do it. The Angels are scared…" The Doctor said.

Forest….

"And running, and right now they're not that interested in either of you. They'll assume you can see them and their instincts will kick in. All you've got to do is walk like you can see." The Doctor said, his voice over the communicator.

Primary Flight Deck…

"Just don't open your eyes. Walk like you can see. You're not moving. You have to do this. Now. You have to do this!" The Doctor said, angrily.

Forest…

Amy and Kaede thread their way through the group of Angels. Amy then trips over a half-buried tree root and fell onto Kaede. The Scottish ginger drops the communicator.

"Doctor? Jared? I can't find the communicator. I dropped it. I can't find it, Doctor. Doctor." Amy said.

"Jared?" Kaede asked, telepathically. "Where's the communicator? Do you know where it is?"

"No." Jared said, telepathically. "I'm not with you. Kaede. Can't remember where it is. I'm sorry. You have to do this. And make it to us."

An Angel turns its head towards Amy and Kaede.

"Doctor. Jared. Doctor! Jared!" Amy said, angrily.

Then another one turns, and another.

"Doctor. Jared." Amy said.

Amy and Kaede get to their feet just as two Angels reach for their throats.

"This is bad…" Kaede said, sadly.

There is a flash of light.

(Jared's POV)

Primary Flight Deck...

River grabs Amy. And Rena grabs Kaede.

"Amy, Kaede. Don't open your eyes. You're on the Flight Deck. The Doctor's here. I teleported the both of you. See? Told you I could get it working." River said, happily.

"River Song, I could bloody kiss you." The Doctor said, excitedly.

"Ah well, maybe when you're older."

"Ooo, an alarm." I said, taking out some bubble tea to drink it. "I love alarms. What's it this time?"

An alarm blares.

"What's that?" Kaede asked.

"The Angels are draining the last of the ship's power, which means the shield's going to release." The Doctor said, as the bulkhead into the forest rises to reveal an array of Angels. "Angel Bob, I presume."

"The Time Field is coming. It will destroy our reality." Bob said, over the communicator.

"So, you're just running away. Oh, are you gonna go to a track field?" I asked, kicking my foot back and forth. "Oh, no. Then what can the Doctor and I do for you?"

"There is a rupture in time. The Angels calculate that if the both of you throw yourselves into it, it will close, and they will be saved."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Could do, could do that. But why?" The Doctor asked.

"Your friends will also be saved."

"Well, there's that." Rena said, crossing her arms. "Us being saved like that."

"I've travelled in time. I'm a complicated space time event too. Throw me in." River said.

"Oh, be serious. Compared to me and Jared, these Angels are more complicated than you and the KMR triangle." The Doctor said.

"By the looks of things, it would take every single Angel to amount to the Doctor and I." I said, holding the handlebars of a console. "Especially me, since I'm part of the Law of Cycles. Just get a grip of the situation."

"Jared, I can't let you do this." Momoko said.

"No, seriously, get a grip." The Doctor said.

"Neither of you are not going to die here!" Kaede said, angrily.

"No, we mean it. River, Amy, Momoko, Rena, Kaede, get a grip." The Doctor said.

"Oh, you geniuses." River said, smiling. "Jared, even if you forgot the past with the Doctor. You're still clever."

"Doctor, Jared, the Angels need you to sacrifice yourselves now." Bob said, over the communicator.

"Thing is, Bob, the Angels are draining all the power from this ship. Every last bit of it. And you know what? I think they've forgotten where they're standing. I think they've forgotten the gravity of the situation. Or to put it another way, Angels." The Doctor said.

A monitor says Gravity Failing. River puts Amy's hand on the handles of a console module. Rena puts Kaede's hand on the handles of a console module. Momoko and Rena then grabbed a console module while holding each other's hands.

"Amy, Kaede, you hold on tight and don't you let go for anything." River said, looking at the two gingers.

"Night, night." The Doctor said.

"Sleep tight." I said, excitedly. "Don't let the bed bugs bite."

Gravity Failed. Feet leave the floor. The spaceship tilts and the Angels fall backwards through the Forest. They disappear into the crack, which then closes.

Beach…

Amy and Kaede are wrapped in blankets. The Tardis is nearby.

"Ah. Bruised everywhere." Amy said.

"Me too." The Doctor said.

"You didn't have to climb out with your eyes shut."

"Neither did you. I kept saying. The Angels all fell into the Time Field. The Angel in your memory never existed. It can't harm you now." The Doctor said.

"Then why do I remember it at all? Those guys on the ship didn't remember each other."

"You're a time traveller now. Amy. It changes the way you see the universe, forever. Good, isn't it?"

"And the crack, is that gone too?"

"Yeah, for now. But the explosion that caused it is still happening. Somewhere out there, somewhere in time."

"So, do you remember everything?" Momoko asked.

"About this universe? Well, yeah." I said, sipping on the bubble tea. "All of my memories from the past few years are back. From Rose to Donna. Kaede's back to normal too. She has no Weeping Angel in her mind. Everything's good."

"What are you gonna do now?" Rena asked. "Will you do something reckless?"

"Reckless. Yes. That's unavoidable."

"You, you need someone to stop you." Kaede said, looking at me.

"I know. I know. Oh, I know. I should bring Maria, Shirabe, and Kirika next. I don't know why. I just feel like it. And I miss them."

"What if you forget everything again? Will, you, um, forget someone important?"

"Along with my memory of my adventures with the Doctor? Again. Maybe. It's a possibility of course."

The Clerics are also back. The Doctor and I go over to River.

"You, me, Jared, handcuffs. Must it always end this way?" River asked, and she is in a pair of high-tech cuffs that beep.

"Yup, it does." I said, happily. "The Crash of the Byzantium. It was fun, River. So, what'll happen now?"

"Oh, don't you know, Jared? The prison ship's in orbit. They'll beam me up any second. I might have done enough to earn a pardon this time. We'll see." River said.

"Octavian said you killed a man." The Doctor said.

"Yes, I did."

"A good man."

"A very good man. One of the best men I've ever known."

��Who?" The Doctor asked.

"And who's Ryuko Matoi?" I asked.

"Oh, Ryuko. You're gonna love her."

"Octavian said she killed a man too. Who's that?"

"It's a long story. Doctor. Jared. It can't be told, it has to be lived. No sneak previews. Well, except for this one. The both of you will see me again quite soon, when the Pandorica opens." River said, happily.

"The Pandorica. Ha! That's a fairy tale." The Doctor said, smirking.

"Now that's a fairy tale that doesn't match up to the love story that is Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi." I said, laughing a lot. "The Pandorica? Really? It really is a fairy tale."

"Doctor, Jared, aren't we all? Jared, you hang out with fairy tales after all. Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Belle, Goldilocks, Jeanne d'Arc, Thor, Achilles, Mulan, and Pinocchio. I'll see you both there." River said.

"I look forward to it." The Doctor said.

"Same. I don't know if events have changed with that. Ever since I came here." I said, holding the bubble tea cup.

"I remember it well. Especially this version of events." River said.

"Bye, River." Amy said.

"See ya, River." Momoko said.

"Bye." Kaede said, smiling.

"Thanks, for um, helping. To save Kaede." Rena said. "I owe you next time. Bye, River. So what if you're a trouble magnet like the Doctor and Jared? I still owe you."

"See you, Amy, KMR triangle. Oh, I think that's my ride." River said.

"Can I trust you? River Song?" The Doctor asked.

"If you like. Ha, but where's the fun in that?" River asked, and she is beamed away in a whirl of sand.

"What are you thinking?" Amy asked.

"Time can be rewritten." The Doctor said.

Tardis…

The Doctor and I dropped the KMR triangle back home to Kamihama City. As the three Magical Girls had a rough adventure.

"I want to go home." Amy said.

"Okay." The Doctor said.

"No, Amy didn't mean it like that, Spaceman." I said, leaning against the TARDIS console. "Donna didn't mean it like that either."

"Right. So, what's up, Amy?"

"I just, I just want to show the both of you something. Doctor, you're running from River. Jared, you're running to Team RWBY. I'm running too." Amy said.
