The New World

Humanity was the dominating race of the old world. They were weak and greedy creatures but have analytical and cognitive natural abilities that far exceeded their potential to survive, yet they still caused the extinction of other living organisms. All the gifts of the planet have been polluted by the improper acts of these abominations. One day, the world suddenly changed as all of them opened their eyes.

The plants that were harmless, became aggressive and violent. As if they have human muscles, they moved to eliminate any lifeforms. They became more poisonous, affecting all the surroundings that's close to them. Some plants became omnivores, killing its own kind and other organisms. Even if they were evolved, they don't have logical thinking and still produce food, that is edible. One of the dangerous newly gained ability of this kind is that they are infused mostly with mana. All their natural capabilities have been enhanced by the influence of the Gods; thus, they are capable of using magic.

The animals also have evolved to a more dangerous beastly creatures that can be describe as demons. This was also the start of predation. The animals that used to be preys, gained physical and magical attributes that corresponds to their bodies. They were larger than ever, more vicious, and ferocious that they have gone wild, similar to what a demon would do in the religious views. Obviously, predators were still predators, except that they have acquired the ability to think, completely dominating most of the other beings because of their cunning nature.

The Dark Ages of humanity begun when they were invaded by groups of animals and plants. There were being hunted and killed, as if the predators know that they were the cause of their sufferings. The massacre rapidly decreased the population of these, confused and ill-timed, humans. Everywhere you can see the pitiful cries of a mother carrying their children, either suffering from hunger or having to lose their loved ones. Most countries have vanished, you only see blood and corpses everywhere. However, in this time also, they gained the attention of an unknown God.

In 1800, this Unknown God's first chosen person was the Princess of the Kingdom. "He" blessed this royal blood the ability, Solar Empowerment. It was said that the princess, Daisy Wales, had the skills to manipulate light, that causes damage to enemies. Another skill that this royal received is that she has a healing magic, she can use the light to heal his allies. She is a catalyst but is naturally gifted in archery, so most of the time, she uses bow as weapon.

The second chosen person was the second prince of the Wales, Duncan Wales, had received the Berserk Empowerment. He has gained the physical attributes, absolute stamina, absolute speed, and absolute violence with weapon proficiency. He has also acquired the ability to manipulate fire, making him a very dangerous man. He is a very high-spirited warrior that radiates masculinity. He uses shield, spear & sword.

Albert Wales, the first prince, has received the Planter Empowerment. The prince has the ability to manipulate plants, which is very efficient of the agriculture the country. He also acquired the power to make strong shields and enhanced craftmanship. He uses shield as a weapon.

Making use of the blessings of the unknown god, they are able to make their country survive the dark ages of humanity, leaving them the only last country standing, with 50 million population. After that, most of the people living in the country of Wales, gained abilities; and thus, been classified on how practical and powerful it is:

Prince Duncan Wales led his soldiers, that has combat abilities, to fight off the monsters. He also held the expeditions on investigating the appearance of mana, evolution of beings, and abilities in the Earth. Princess Daisy Wales also assisted her brother from doing these activities. With her healing ability, and to counter dark attributes, she is the perfect companion around. Many people died on such events, but the information outside the kingdom is very valuable. The first prince, Albert Wales, stayed in the country. He used his power to shield the whole kingdom, adding walls to secure the safety of every people. Using also the craftmanship and plant manipulation, he saved the economy of his country and invented many things that made him known.

In the year 1830, Prince Albert Wales was crowned as the King of the country, upon the ending of the dark ages of the humanity. Everything became well, everyone went back to their normal lives except the addition of studying mana. Scholars had proved that everyone can manipulate mana, as well as it is the ability that they use. They experimented all possible methods on amplifying their mana, also listing the new abilities that had been circulating in the society. In the end, they concluded that on the 13th birthday of every child, they will be blessed with the ability that reflect their own persona. In addition, everyone can evolve classes as they varnish their abilities by killing monsters to get EXP or experience. This is the remaining mana of the monsters that you kill will combine to your mana.

Year 1850, Zaher, the God that gave them abilities, gave them a ranking system. The higher rank, the powerful you can be. "He" also gave them information about the ranking of every living organism. After ascending, the Exp points goes back to 0. At that time, the highest ranking was the chosen ones with S – skills were only Rank D. Everything went well; stable economy, developing knowledge about magic and technology, recruiting talented spouts, and the royal bloodline. All of them were the pillars of the kingdom. Until the sudden disappearance of the first born in the family, Princess Daisy Wales. In year 1856, It was horrifying that this happened to the greatest healer and the last light user of the royal family. The King Albert Wales declared that the princess is dead, after the expeditions and search teams said that they cannot find her highness. The people who believed to the first gifted individual despaired.

Year 1862, Prince Duncan Wales the general and proclaimed, the greatest sword master, had rebelled to the king. With prince's mercenary and expedition team, they tried conquering the lands of the Wales country.

"But they were unsuccessful as the king's nature shield held tight. The conclusion? The banishment of the traitors. As they cannot fully kill the prince's army, they were cursed with the help of God Zaher. After that rebellion, they said that they were abandoned by "Him". Misery and distrust were born to the people of the Wales as they witness the downfall of their country. Leveling has been harder to gain, monsters became more frequent as the combatant team was banished from the now abandoned lands. As for ascension, they needed materials for it. Most importantly, the powers given by the other Gods has its price­. They all blamed the king for everything. In the end, the King committed suicide."

"You can't tell us a story that is suitable for children like us, can you?"

It was said by the little Ephraim. He was getting tired of the stories that seemed all of the characters are either mentally ill or literal crazy. All he wanted to hear was fairy tales, folklore, or even better, about monsters!

All of his siblings seemed to agree to his criticism on their mother's story. All of them heard the story of a crazy, greedy, and depressed leaders of a country. They weren't sure if it's even appropriate to tell such stories to children. So, they were not surprised to the ending. It is expected for such stories to end with a tragedy. It also brought them the thoughts of doubts on the surface world.

"Our lives are not about butterflies and flowers."
