Traverse Town Keyhole

"Why aren't you doing this on your own?" asks Cid as John smiled at him.

"It gets boring if you do something like this on your own," says John as he could do it on his own but doing something together just makes more fun.

They finished everything quite fast as they only had to put a gem into the ship and calibrate the ship again making two wormholes appear on the display.

"It seems that everything is working as it should," says Cid seeing the wormholes on the display.

"Good, the ship should survive the travels through the Wormholes," says John as he closes everything up.

They then hear the bell sound and Leon looked serious while saying, "Oh no, the bell. Have the Heartless develop intelligence."

"No, it is Sora and the others," says John as he could feel Sora and four other people ringing the bell.

"They most likely want to close the keyhole. You heard John, Sora already closed three and it will help us since you are overworked like everyone else," says Cid as this was the most fun he really had since the group left Traverse Town.

"I should still go just to make sure," says Leon not knowing that the trio was already stronger than him.

John placed his hand on Leon's shoulder and says, "You aren't, let Sora, Donald, and Goofy resolve this matter. They are strong enough to deal with the situation."

In the meantime in the shadows of Traverse Town, a pale green-skinned woman in black robes holding a staff was looking at what was going in with Riku by her side.

"A Keyblade Master," says the woman surprised to meet one again.

"Keyblade Master?" asks Riku as the woman nods.

"Yes, it is said that they are the strongest fighters and fight to protect the worlds. It seems, that your friend has forgotten you and your other friend. What was her name again?" says the woman as Riku has his doubts about that.

"Her name is Kairi," says Riku as he turns to the woman.

"Have you found her already, Maleficent?" asks Riku worried about his friend.

"Not yet, boy," says Maleficent when she feels a glare on her.

She turns in the direction the glare was coming and she finds a man covered in a long black coat rushing at her holding two Keyblades in his hands. She could feel hate and fury coming from the man she never met before as the man suddenly was surrounded by a transparent golden aura.

Maleficent put her hand on Riku's shoulder and they disappeared in Darkness before the man could attack her. The man landed on the roof the two were standing on before and releases a scream that everyone in Traverse Town could hear.

It was like a beast in wild fury and it intimidated almost everyone that heard that as he shouts, "I will find you, witch. And when I do you are done for killing my descendants."

It was Leon who was in a rage at the moment since he came face to face with one of the two people involved with the murdering of his family leaving only Kairi behind.

He soon could feel that two people were coming towards him rapidly and disappeared into the darkness since he didn't want to meet his parents like this.

Soon Nesiara and John arrived and find nothing except for two footprints that left a mark on the roof because someone was using strength on his feet.

"Who do you think could have done that?" asks Nesiara as she was confused.

"Well, going by the shout it was an enemy of Maleficent making only a small number our suspects and most of them can't do that. They would have broken the roof by channeling that much rage into his feet," says John leaving only one possibility in all the options they had.

"This leaves only one person," says Nesiara as she was thinking on the same person.

"Leon," say both at the same time as he was the only one that could give off such an aura of intimidation.

They looked down and they could see the group which seemed to be frozen still as were the Heartless.

"It seems Maleficent was trying to manipulate Riku when Leon interrupted her and she had to retreat with him back to Hollow Bastion," says John as Nesiara nods while they see the trio recuperate from the fear they felt a moment ago.

They finished off the Heartless that were still frozen in fear as they advanced towards the fountain which had the keyhole on full display. They jumped from the tower leaving Yuffie and Aerith behind as they flew over towards the fountain to close the keyhole.

John and Nesiara then leave their position and appear beside the two. They calmed the two down and they could move again. They walked to the edge of the tower and could see the trio in front of the fountain without a scratch on them.

"What was that?" asks Yuffie as she gets shivers just from remembering the scream and the aura that followed it.

"We aren't completely sure but we think that it was our son," says Nesiara as the two looked at her surprised.

"Why do you think it was him?" asks Aerith as Nesiara smiles sadly at her.

"He is the only one that could do that and hate Maleficent that much," says Nesiara as they could see Sora holding his Keyblade across of the keyhole when suddenly the Knight Armor Heartless reappeared in front of them.

"We need to help them," says Yuffie as John stopped her.

"It is their fight. We don't need to interfere in it," says John as Heartless suddenly surrounded them.

"We should worry about ourselves," says John as he summoned the Dragon Slayer in his hand and Judgement in his other while Alpha appeared around his body.

Nesiara had Omega in her hands as they looked at each other and Nesiara says, "Burn, Queen."

Omega was slowly surrounded by molten magma that dripped on the ground making holes appear while John summoned a barrier around Yuffie and Aerith since it would be dangerous for them to be hit by Omega.

Nesiara was spinning her spear around making the magma splash everywhere even John wasn't spared from it as he cut through the Heartless easily with Judgement and Dragon Slayer.

In the meantime, the trio defeated the Knight Armor again and it falls to the ground, making Sora say, "Finally, it is over."

They thought the fight was over when suddenly the Armor was now floating upside down and the hands and feet changed position with each other.

"Eh, Sora," says Goofy as Sora had his back to the Heartless.

"It is standing again," says Sora as Goofy and Donald nod at him.

Then Jungle King and Metal Chocobo appeared in his hand and he says, "Then let us finish it once and for all."

The armor attacked first and Goofy used his shield to block the attack when Donald uses Blizzara followed by a Thundara while Sora used Goofy's shoulder for more momentum and flies at the armor.

Suddenly some molten magma flew in their direction looking like little meteorites, making John shout, "Fuck!"

He throws Judgement in the same direction and uses the force to maneuver it in the air blocking all the meteorites with it when he looks at Nesiara who saw what happened and only smiles at him.

"What did you think I don't have someone guarding them," says Nesiara as two clones of hers were on a different roof watching over them but didn't interfere because John used Judgement to block the damage that would have hurt the trio.

"You really had everything planned?" asks John as he didn't believe his wife had all under control.

"I have all under control and all of our enemies are defeated as well," says Nesiara as Omega stopped to drip molten magma.

Nesiara turned to Aerith and Yuffie asks, "Are you two alright?"

"Yes," say Aerith and Yuffie as John removes the barrier while calling Judgement back without disturbing the flow of the battle between the trio and the Knight Armor Heartless.

Judgement arrives and John catches it with his hand before both swords with Alpha and Nesiara's spear disappeared before they watch the trio fighting again.

Sora was flying around the armor while attacking its new hands. Goofy was taking care of its new legs while Donald was using magic to take down the body of the armor.

John's wounds were slowly healing as Nesiara's Shikai was no joke now that it even got stronger because of Queen's upgrade.

They were seeing how easily the trio took out the Knight Armor when Yuffie and Aerith looked at the couple.

"They are strong, aren't they," says John as they nod.

"But there are still people stronger than them out there," says John as they remember the scream from earlier.

"Do you think-," says Aerith worried.

"We hope not. I don't want to strike one of my children down," says John sadly just thinking about that when Nesiara hugged his arm.

"I don't think that he is our enemy. He wouldn't have gone after Maleficent if he was," says Nesiara hopefully to cheer John up.

"You are right. He is your son after all," says John with a smile as he kissed her forehead knowing that Leon couldn't have turned evil with Nesiara as his mother.

They see that the Knight Armor disappears and that a Heart floats into the sky when John says, "It seems the fight is over."

Nesiara's clones fly over and grab Yuffie and Aerith as they then jump from the tower to join the trio. Sora was closing the keyhole when they arrived. Soon after Leon and Cid joined them as they were taking care of the people in the town center.

"You have done it," says Aerith as she was happy that Sora closed the keyhole with everyone having a smile on their face seeing that Sora did what they thought impossible.

"With that, the Heartless will be less active in this world, making it easier for us and the people in Traverse Town," says Leon as he took out a keychain with a lion head on it.

"It was made by us when you left. It should give you good luck," says Leon as he hands it over to Sora who accepted it with a smile.

"Thank you," says Sora as it began to glow before a Keyblade appeared in his hand.

It was gunmetal grey and long with a lion head that roared on the side of the tip. Everyone was surprised to see it happen when they walked to the shelter together to discuss the groups future plans.
