The Skull Knight and Godot

John and Nesiara were sitting across from Yui and Vincent while Aerith, Elmyra, and Kieron were sitting left from them, and on the right side were Celine and Legolas.

They were talking when suddenly John feels something pulling him down into Darkness when Nesiara took his hand. John slowly disappears in the Darkness when he suddenly pulls Nesiara inside it as both disappear without leaving any mark when Nora enters the living room.

"Where are father and mother?" asks Nora as Yui sighs.

"I think Logan pulled them into another World," says Yui as this was the only possibility she came up with while continuing, "Anyway, let us invited the others to prepare a welcome party for when they return."

"That is a nice idea. Too bad Cid and Shera won't be able to come since they are in space," says Aerith sad since without Cid it wouldn't be a real reunion.

"Kieron can bring them down for one day. Before bringing them up again," says Yui as Aerith smiles at Kieron making it impossible for him to deny that request since Aerith would be happy to have a complete reunion.

"Fine, just keep the little princess safe," says Kieron as he looked at his family.

"But what about your parents they are *poof* away," says Legolas worried as the others begin to smile.

"Don't worry about them. They can take care of themselves," says Yui as she wanted to stand up when Vincent helped her, making Yui kiss her husband before saying, "I will contact the others. They should come to Edge to celebrate their return."

In the meantime with John and Nesiara, they were falling through Darkness when they suddenly appeared in a house finding an old man hitting some steel with his hammer when the old man says, "Guts, I should have known you would return after that tournam-"

The old man stopped when he turned around and didn't find his friend and customer Guts but John and Nesiara standing in his workshop.

"I'm very sorry, I thought you were a friend of mine but it seems I was wrong. You are far too big to be him," says the old man looking at John before turning to Nesiara and continues, "And he wouldn't bring such a beautiful woman with him."

"Who are you talking about?" asks John as the old man sighs.

"I'm talking about a good-for-nothing that only knows how to swing a sword," says the old man as he sighs and continues, "Anyway, I am Godot, and as you can see I am a blacksmith."

"I'm John and this is my wife Nesiara," says John looking at Godot who was still holding his hammer.

"How about this? Let me finish my work and we can talk normally. My daughter should be outside at the moment. You can browse through my works if you want," says Godot as he felt no hostility coming from John nor Nesiara.

"Thank you," says John as they leave the house when they find themselves in another world.

"So who do you think sent us here. Logan or Jack?" asks Nesiara as John smiles.

"We both know it was Logan. But since we are here we should look through Godot's work. Just by seeing his craftmanship, you can tell he is a master," says John as Nesiara sighs.

"Typical for you to say so," says Nesiara when a girl with light brown hair and green eyes walked towards them carrying a bucket.

John walks over and takes the bucket from her hands while saying, "Let me help you, girl."

"Thanks, but who are you?" asks the girl as Nesiara presents them this time and the girl says, "I'm Erica, nice to meet you two."

"How about you girls take your time while I bring the water inside to Godot," says John knowing that Nesiara didn't want to enter the smithy.

John places the bucket near Godot when they hear a scream from outside. Both let go of what they were holding and rushed outside only to find Nesiara standing in front of Erica while in front Nesiara was a skeleton horse with a skeleton riding it.

Nesiara was holding Queen in her hand making Godot stare at the spear because of the craftsmanship put into it when the Skeleton says, "Otherworldlers, get in my way"

Nesiara didn't even let the Skeleton finish his sentence as she split it in two with its horse before she continued splitting it into four then eight and so on. Then she used the flamethrower at the tip of her spear making only ash remain.

Suddenly Jack appears and sighs after seeing what happened when he snaps his finger and the Skull Knight was back then Jack says, "Truce. He isn't your enemy but an ally."

"He an ally?" asks Nesiara not believing it when Jack turns towards the Skull Knight.

"They are here to help you. Well, not really you but another person," says Jack looking at the Skull Knight.

"Are they the reinforcement he promised us?" asks Skull Knight as Jack nods.

"Yes, our descendants. He only wanted to bring one of them since the other shouldn't be under much stress but we can't change that," says Jack as he looked at Nesiara.

"What do we have to do in this world?" asks John as Godot looked at him confused when Jack takes out five soul stones.

"We want you to capture the five beings that think they are gods. Soon a man named Guts will arrive here. He will lead you to your objective without knowing it. Help him and you shall find them," says Jack as he handed over the stones before vanished from where he stood.

"Still a mystery to me who we have to kill," says Nesiara as the Skull Knight looked at them.

"The God's Hand is what you are after. It seems they will be reunited in one place or Logan wouldn't have sent you to help me," says the Skull Knight informing them while Erica was still hiding behind Nesiara.

"And they are?" asks John as the Skull Knight looks at him.

"They are evil beings that I want to kill so I can finally rest. Once they are no more the Apostles will go into hiding or at least try that. I will kill them all before finding my peace," says the Skull Knight as he turned his horse around and continues, "We will meet again soon."

Leaving the place as Nesiara sighs in relief when John looked at her seriously and says, "You know that I made an exception the last time in Alfheim but you need to rest."

"I can rest when my belly begins to show itself. Until then I will fight like always," says Nesiara as both were having a staring contest which no one won as Godot interrupted it.

"Can we talk inside about what was talked a moment ago," says Godot as they followed the old smith into the house with Erica.

"So you aren't normal visitors but people from another world. That explains why I didn't hear you enter the house. I just thought that I was too focused working to hear you enter," says Godot as Erica wanted to get more water from outside since half of the water was spilled when John let go of the bucket when he heard her scream.

Nesiara then uses magic to refill the bucket as Erica was surprised when Godot says, "You are a witch."

"Now I am a Mage. Witches have a bad reputation in every world," says Nesiara when she points at John and says, "He is a mage as well but he rarely uses magic thanks to his build."

"I can see that with his big body he must be a great warrior," says Godot as he looked at Nesiara and continues, "But you are as well a great warrior. You killed that monster easily with your spear."

"Thanks for the compliment also the bucket will refill itself from now on. Erica won't need to refill it any longer and can focus on other things," says Nesiara as she smiled at Erica while John was looking at Godot.

"You mentioned a Guts before when we appeared in your house. Is he maybe the same Guts that Jack meant?" asks John as Godot sighs before nodding.

"Most likely, Guts is a complicated man. He won't trust you just because you say that you are here to help him. I would recommend that you follow him quietly without getting noticed. Except you think that you can defeat him," says Godot as Nesiara smiles at John.

"It's up to you. You can either beat the crap out of him or we follow him quietly," says Nesiara as John was thinking about it when Godot stood up.

"Can I show you something?" asks Godot as John and Nesiara were curious while Godot continues, "If you are going to fight him you will need a weapon."

"I ha-," says John when Nesiara interrupts him.

"Of course, it has been long since John used a good sword," says Nesiara as Queen was laughing in her mind from hearing that when suddenly five swords appeared around John.

"Do you see what you have made. Now they are angry," says John as Godot saw the swords around John.

"They are all masterpieces in their own right but the sword I want to show you is a masterpiece as well. No man could swing that sword as they said it was too heavy. Maybe you could try it," says Godot as John picked his swords up.

"Maybe, I should try it. I could use another weapon," says Nesiara as John looks at her.

"You enraged my swords now they want to see their opponent. They will judge if it is worthy or not," says John staring at Nesiara since calming his words down will take some time.

Godot brought them to his basement as they saw many things around there when John saw the giant two-hander laying against the wall. Godot walked to it while Nesiara was looking at some fancy spears.

"That here is the Dragon Slayer. I was chased away by my former Lord because it was unusable. But you shouldn't have a problem since you are bigger than the sword," says Godot as Nesiara turned to Dragon Slayer.

"It is definitely too big for me. So why not give it a try?" asks Nesiara as John looked at his swords that seemed to have nothing against it.

John grabbed the handle with one hand before lifting it. He walked outside with it and swung it a bit making Godot happy to have found someone who could swing his masterpiece.

John stopped swinging it as he says, "I will take it. It is longer and thicker than my other swords. And sooner or later it will develop a personality like my current swords."

John thought that this sword was made for him as no one else would be able to swing this sword. He placed it on his back beside Rebellion and the Fusion Sword when all his swords disappear.

"I will take care of it," says John as he looked Godot in the eye making Godot understand that his Dragon Slayer was in good hands.

"Then let us go back inside and let me give you all the information I have about Guts," says Godot as he was happy to have finally found a person that could wield his sword.
