The Battles between the Guardians

In the meantime on another battlefield, Mickey was fighting against four people at the same time when suddenly a spear of light stopped an attack in his rear and they hear, "Isn't it unfair to have four people going against one mouse."

It was Kieron who was standing with Yuffie and Aerith on the wall before they jumped down and Mickey as well as the others were confused with who they were.

"Let's make this a fair fight," says Yuffie as she jumped down from the wall while throwing her shuriken at the enemy.

The enemy evade the shuriken which passed them before it plopped and Yuffie was suddenly behind them when they hear, "Blizzaga!"

Their feet begin to freeze to the ground followed by their legs and torso as they looked up seeing the one to cast the spell was Aerith before Yuffie and Kieron attacked simultaneously followed by Mickey who saw them fight on their side.

The four trapped in the ice free themselves as the group approaches and they block the incoming attack which made Kieron and Yuffie smile as they didn't move from their position when Aerith shouts, "Mega Flare!"

Kieron and Yuffie retreated immediately from their position while Kieron grabbed Mickey so doesn't get hurt by the attack. The beam of energy hits the enemy group directly and a cloud of dust emerges from their position.

Mickey looked at Kieron and saw the resemblance of Nesiara and John on him before cards empowered by lightning come out of the cloud of dust straight towards them while on the other side a pink scythe went for Yuffie.

Kieron grabbed Lightbringer from the ground with a smile while throwing Mickey towards Aerith who catches the mouse. Yuffie just twists her body to the side making the scythe miss her before she grabs the handle.

Kieron uses Lightbringer and blocks the cards while saying, "I think you should leave them to me. Yuffie, you take care of the one with the white hair. He seems important."

"Why did I come then. I want to experience some fun," says Yuffie as the cloud of dust lays low and reveals their opponents.

"And I can't go all out if you get in my way," says Kieron as Aerith only sighs from hearing both while Mickey and the other four were confused by the discussion the two were having.

"Aerith?" says Mickey seeing Aerith as she only smiles.

"I am not the Aerith you know but a different one," says Aerith as Mickey noticed that this one was older than the one he knows.

"But we are here to help my father-in-law in his attempt of saving my brother-in-law," says Aerith as she placed Mickey down.

"Father-in-law?" asks Mickey as Aerith nods.

"You might know him better as John," says Aerith as Mickey was surprised by that when Kieron suddenly powered up going SSG before he got in position and Aerith created a barrier around herself and Mickey.

"This will be dangerous," says Aerith as Mickey was confused before Kieron appeared to have grown bigger in his eyes looking like a real giant while in Aerith's eyes it was still only Kieron in his normal height.

"Why did he grow this big?" asks Mickey before Aerith places her hand on Mickey's head which made him see the normal Kieron again.

"What is he doing?" asks Mickey now confused as Aerith smiles.

"Kieron has a body that can absorb the light of the sun normally he would be the strongest during Noon but he is always the strongest because his body can absorb the light of the sun reflected on the moon giving him twice a day the chance to reach his maximum output which can destroy anything in his path if he were to use only that power," says Aerith as Kieron disappeared as did Yuffie on the other side.

They appeared again as Kieron punched the blond guy in the abdomen sending him flying while Yuffie kicked the pink-haired guy in the back.

The white-haired guy took this opportunity to escape as the blond girl saw two giants in front of her with Yuffie just radiating her fighting spirit that matched Kieron's sunshine aura.

"So the guy with white hair escaped," says Kieron as he looked at the blond-haired girl that was scared shitless since the aura Kieron and Yuffie radiated were far stronger than that of the old man they are allied with.

"Yuffie, she is yours," says Kieron as he threw Lightbringer at the guy he punched before piercing him in the heart killing him like that.

Lightbringer appeared in his hand again and he turned his body towards the guy Yuffie punched away and he threw Lightbringer at him as well killing him while the girl was in disbelief before Yuffie takes a kunai out.

She walks behind the girl and says, "It will be over in a second."

She places the kunai on her throat and slices through it separating the head and body before they turned into darkness.

Mickey felt pain seeing how brutal Kieron and Yuffie were when Aerith looks at him and says, "Ideals are peaceful, but war leaves you no chance to be it. I hope that they will be reincarnated into better people."

In the meantime on another battlefield, Aqua and Ventus were fighting Xehanort in Terra's body and Vanitas.

They seemed to be balanced at first glance but on second glance Nora and Mary could see that Vanitas and Xehanort were pushing Aqua and Ventus slowly back.

"Why does this feels like we are on a contract to kill some demons?" asks Mary as Nora points at the Heartless behind Xehanort.

"Most likely because of him. Dad said that they will turn into Darkness after defeating them," says Nora as they were watching from the wall.

"Now should we get this over with," says Mary as she jumps down from the wall while Nora follows her.

Mary had her Kalina Ann secured on her back when she points it at the enemy when Nora asks, "Did you load one of the new rockets in it?"

"Yes, why?" asks Mary who was about to shoot.

"Just to make sure if I need to jump from it before it explodes," says Nora as Mary smiles.

"You are becoming a bit too playful by copying Dante," says Mary as she pulls the trigger making a rocket shoot out of her rocket launcher which Nora surfed pulling her sword out.

Nora was going straight for them with a smile on her face which would surprise everyone in her family since Nora wouldn't smile in such a situation.

The rocket was about to hit Vanitas when Nora jumps down from it as she sees Vanitas trying to cut it. The moment Vanitas's Keyblade hit the head of the rocket it exploded creating a cloud of dust around Vanitas which surprised everyone on the battlefield.

"It seems you need some help," says Nora looking at Aqua and Ventus as her sword was resting on her shoulder.

A shadow came out of the cloud of dust rushing Nora only for it to be grabbed by Nora who smashes the shadow into the ground while she says, "You are quite slow for someone that calls himself strong."

"Let me go," says Vanitas trying to free himself from Nora's grip but Nora lifts him up from the ground before she smashes him back into the ground.

Vanitas's helmet broke apart revealing his face when Nora says seriously, "You aren't really our enemy so stay down. Our real enemy hasn't shown itself yet."

Vanitas hasn't even heard her as he turned into Darkness because Nora crushed his head. Nora looked at the Darkness and was surprised that she killed Vanitas like that.

"Wow, I thought they could tank a hit," says Nora joking about it as she turned to Aqua and Ventus while asking, "Do you want to get your friend back?"

"What do you mean?" asks Ventus confused about what was going on when Nora smiles at the boy.

"My father told us that your friend Terra is trapped in his Heartless form. And going by the look of the Heartless we fought outside this maze I will say that the shadow behind that guy must be your friend, Terra," says Nora as Mary caught up to Nora.

"It seems one is already down. Only one is left," says Mary as she looked at Xehanort.

"You know the plan," says Nora as Mary smiles at her.

"Of course, no lethal force against him while we say the magical words that your father told us," says Mary confusing Aqua and Ventus.

"Magical words?" says Aqua worried as Mary looks at her.

"You are quite good-looking," says Mary getting a close-up on Aqua before saying, "If I wasn't in a relationship already I might have fallen for you. What about you, Nora?"

"She is too soft for someone like me. You are more my cup of tea," says Nora as she rushed towards Xehanort who was confused with what was going on because of the two new contestants.

Mary pulled the trigger on her rocket launcher making the rocket pass beside Nora when Xehanort avoids the rocket not falling for it. Nora then swings her sword at Xehanort while looking at the shadow behind him.

"It is time to set things right," says Nora seriously as the shadow looked at her surprised when he sees seems to remember John telling him the same with his lips.

"Who are you talking to?" asks Xehanort who dodges Nora's sword since he saw what she did to Vanitas just with her hand.

He wanted to attack when the shadow grabbed his hand stopping him from doing that. This surprised Xehanort as well as Aqua and Ventus when the shadow suddenly hit Xehanort directly in the face sending him flying.

"Impossible! He is-" says Xehanort when the shadow grabbed his head stopping him from saying anything else while it broke free the bandages around its mouth and began to almost chant that he would set things right.

Aqua and Ventus suddenly realized that the shadow was Terra and they pointed their Keyblades at it and his body before beams of Light streamed out of them hitting Terra before it hit his body.

His heart wanders into his body expulsing Xehanort out of it as he took back control over his body. His hair turned brown and his eyes were back to blue which showed that he was back to Aqua and Ventus which ran towards him.

It was a heartbreaking reunion when Mary says, "This reminds me of the reunion between me and my mother."

"I know but the war isn't over yet," says Nora as she lost one brother in a war before.

"Then let us make sure that we all survive it," says Mary as Nora kissed her partner.
