Panam drove her car to a hideout not wanting the Shivs to know that it was the Aldecados that broke into their camp and began to create chaos in it.
They arrived at the hideout and Nesiara could see a storm was beginning to brew when she says, "A Sandstrom will hit us soon."
"Then you should help me with Saul," says Panam nervous since Saul was out cold when she looks at Grimoire and says, "Can you try to get the generators to run again? We will need electricity inside the building."
"That should be easy," says Grimoire confident as he follows the cables that run into the building towards the other end finding a box that was closed off.
Grimoire takes a screwdriver out and opens it before looking at the interior of the box and finds the problem and he begins to generate lightning with his hands before putting them on the cables making the lights outside the building turn on.
Grimoire hears Thunder and turns around and sees lightning raining down As the storm almost caught up to them and he rushes inside to the others. There he finds Nesiara and Panam sitting at a table.
"That storm isn't normal, is it?" asks Grimoire worried as he was once in a natural storm because of a mission.
"It is your grandfather that created the storm," says Nesiara making Grimoire sigh before sitting down beside Panam.
"Can I ask you a question?" asks Grimoire a bit nervous as Nesiara could hear the nervousness in his voice.
"What do you want to know?" asks Nesiara curious about what Grimoire wanted to ask out of her.
"Are we the good guys?" asks Grimoire nervous making Nesiara break out in laughter while Panam picked interest in what Grimoire just asked.
"It depends from which angle you are looking at me," says Nesiara confusing Grimoire and a bit Panam.
"You must have asked your grandfather and he must have answered you with him being a villain instead of telling you that he is a hero, am I right?" says Nesiara hitting the nail by looking at Grimoire's expression.
"You should throw that mentality out, Grimoire. I am a hero to my friends. But for my enemies, I might be more like a monster or a villain. You can't be a hero without accepting that you are a villain for some people," says Nesiara trying to explain it more clearer to Grimoire since John could be quite brute when it comes to this topic since his whole family is made out of Superheroes.
"It is better if I give you a better example," says Nesiara as she stands up and walks to one of the barricaded windows and looks at it.
"Your grandfather is right now a hero in our eyes because he bought us enough time so we could escape, right," says Nesiara making Panam and Grimoire nod as they seemed to follow the same logic.
"But in the eyes of the Shivs in the camp, he is an evil monster that is slaughtering their people and destroying their houses. Does a hero do that in your eyes?" asks Nesiara showing the both sides of the situation John created.
"Your grandfather must have told you that a real hero is loved by everyone since he treats everyone with benevolence and follows the hardest and most cruel path that exists," says Nesiara seriously since she saw a true hero in the memories of Lorena.
"You might think that you are a hero but a hero would never search for a fight or taint their hands with blood unnecessarily if it can be avoided," says Nesiara as she gave Grimoire and Panam goosebumps with just a look.
"We might call ourselves heroes but we aren't heroes. We are survivors," says Nesiara as she placed both in a Genjutsu to morph her background into their imagination of Hell.
Panam almost collapsed from seeing her personal hell behind Nesiara while Grimoire just turned pale when Nesiara dissolves it and says, "I can tell you a tale of a real hero if you want but you wouldn't like to hear it since it doesn't have any action in it."
"So you are saying that Heroes are just Heroes because the people around them see them like that," says Grimoire making Nesiara a bit proud.
"That's right," says Nesiara since the only hero she has met so far is Frodo Baggins who never raised his sword at anyone or anything many would call him a coward but he was a true hero that didn't get his hands dirty with blood while fulfilling his quest.
"Then what is grandpa in the eyes of the people?" asks Grimoire not believing what John said before.
"He is a harsh teacher that prefers practical training over theoretical one. He raised many people you see as heroes and they look up to him but he sees himself as nothing special since he is doing what any other person would do," says Nesiara as Nesiara sat back down.
"Anyway, what about you, Grimoire? What see the people when they look at you?" asks Nesiara curiously as Grimoire was a bit embarrassed while scratching his head.
"They don't look at me but more at Ifalna. She is the hero of my generation," says Grimoire feeling a bit inferior to Ifalna when Nesiara only smiles at him.
"Yui must have spoiled you a lot as John did with her," says Nesiara with a smile on her face when Nesiara continues, "Let me tell you something really important Grimoire. Life isn't judged by what you did in your first quarter of life since a living being is still trying to figure out their path. It is judged past that threshold and you are still standing before it."
"So lift your head and show some chest like your uncle, Bran. He is considered a true hero by many people since he gave his life for his sister and his friends facing a whole army alone before he disintegrated while making the enemy retreat out of fear," says Nesiara proudly since Bran is alive.
"Wait, your son disintegrated while fighting an army alone?" asks Panam when the door opens dramatically making Panam jump out of her skin when she and Grimoire turn around seeing John under the door frame.
He enters the hideout and closes the door as the sandstorm was still raging outside before he walks toward them and sits down beside Nesiara while saying, "Bran learned a forbidden technique if we say it simply. He needed to use an eye patch that sealed part of his strengths away. If you want you could say that Bran was the strongest out of all our children before he disintegrated becoming light."
"You are talking as if he is still alive," says Panam confused with how they are talking in the present.
"He is still alive. He just didn't remember us until we met him before coming to this world," says Nesiara informing Panam that Bran was still under the living.
"He even has a cute daughter that should be five years old," says John as he looks at Grimoire.
"I will need to shape the boy before me into a man," says John to Nesiara while Grimoire began to feel inferior again.
"That would be a good idea. How long will you take him away?" asks Nesiara knowing exactly what John wanted to do.
"Two days should be enough to train him," says John coldly as he was calculating the time he would need to teach Grimoire.
"Two days? How are you going to train anyone in two days?" asks Panam thinking that John was going to make Grimoire face a hell of a training.
Grimoire was turning pale since he heard rumors from his mother and the others about a room in which time flows differently inside than outside.
John could see Grimoire's pale expression and only smiles at him with Nesiara before he says, "We are going there right away. I will miss you, Nes."
"I won't," says Nesiara since for her it would only be two days while John would be away for four years with Grimoire.
John grabbed Grimoire by his neck making him feel like a puppy as they disappear. They appear in Paradise before the mansion when John takes the lead and they enter the mansion.
"I can feel that you inherited a lot of Yui's powers but it seems that you were taught barely in them or at least how it feels after looking at you," says John as they reached a door and he opens it revealing the white space that was behind it.
"This will be your home for the next four years. I and your grandmother literally raised your mother in here until she turned eighteen," says John a bit proud since Yui is his favorite out of all his children and one of the stronger ones if he were to compare her with his other children with Nora and Leon at the peak for now since Bran has to start from the beginning again.
They enter the Time Chamber and John closes the door behind himself before locking it with a seal that Sion developed. Grimoire looked around seeing only white everywhere when John suddenly stops him from wandering around.
"You could lose yourself in here so try not to roam too far away from the entrance or it will be hard to find you later," says John warning Grimoire when Grimoire suddenly feels that John was taking away his weapons.
"Hey, what are yo-," says Grimoire angry when John interrupts him.
"You rely too much on your weapons. You will be training the old fashion way first," says Yun as he makes his knuckles knack before saying, "Close Combat will be the first thing I will be teaching you. Once we are done we will continue with Chakra and Reiryoko since it is far stronger than your mother's and your uncles and aunts."
"Reiryoko?" asks Grimoire since he never heard the word before when John released a bit of it making Grimoire sweat bullets while holding his body up.
"It feels like Conqueror's Haki but compared to it only Shinigamis can use it. You will become one of them as did I and your grandmother before you," says John telling Grimoire the first half of his training regimes when he suddenly grabbed him and threw him against the ground before saying, "First Lesson, never show me your back or you will end up on the ground."
"What the hel-," says Grimoire when he stops and rolls to the side evading John's boot.
"Second Lesson, the fight isn't over just because you are on the ground," says John seriously as he looks at Grimoire that was standing again.
"Now begins your training. Welcome to Hell," says John as he rushed at Grimoire to take him out.
With this Grimoire's training began under John's tutelage who was going to make Grimoire a warrior with who even his children might have problems once he is done with striking the iron out.
