Repairing the Highwind

The trio returned with Pinocchio after defeating the Heartless that kept him imprisoned. They arrive at the shipwreck which Pinocchio called home since they lived inside Monstro when they find Geppetto unconscious and Kairi wasn't in the bed.

"What happened here?" asks Nesiara as she returned as well finding the trio in the company of a walking and talking puppet.

She sees Geppetto laying on the when they feel the Monstro shake and she says, "We need to get to the ship fast."

Nesiara picked Geppetto up while Goofy did the same with Pinocchio and all four flew as fast as possible towards the ship.

They arrive and find it ready to leave when they boarded it and find John looking at the display who then says, "You are back. Maybe we shouldn't go to the world we intended to go but back to Traverse Town."

"That would be a good idea we need to bring those two to a safe place," says Nesiara as she puts Geppetto on one of the free seats while Goofy places Pinocchio on another one before they jumped on their seats.

"He will soon spew us out. Be prepared for it since we will be shaking until the engines start again," says John to them as they began to shake extremely from side to side until Monstro spewed them out.

They still were shaking until John pushed the engine button and the ship stopped. They were standing still when John looks at Sora.

"Touch the display, Sora," says John as Sora touches it making the ship fly towards Agrabah.

Once they were out of danger Sora asks, "Why would Riku kidnap Kairi? And where is Leon, didn't you find him?"

"Not really, it seems he left Kairi in Geppetto's care before he left. He seemed to be in a hurry because of something. What about Riku, you said that he kidnapped Kairi," says Nesiara as Sora nods.

"He told us that he used Pinocchio to get our attention so he could get Kairi," says Sora sad that his friend would do such a thing.

"He might have a reason to do so," says John as he places his hand on Sora's shoulder while saying, "We do many bad things to protect those we love if we have to."

"But that doesn't mean that it is right to do so," says John as Sora looked at him.

"I have done many wrong things while I was young of which I really hope I could go back to stop myself. He will one day realize that he did something wrong and will need your help as I had the help of someone else to find the right path," says John looking at Sora before his eyes wandered to his wife.

They were flying when the wormhole appears and John navigates it straight inside. The ship began to shake madly again worse than when the Monstro spat them out as they were reminded of the first time entering the wormhole.

Geppetto woke up from all the shaking and asks, "Where am I?"

"Hold on tightly to your seat, old man," says John as even he and Nesiara were holding on to their seat.

They were shaken up as if they were a drink that was being mixed by a bartender. They could see the light at the end of the wormhole as they all felt happy because it soon would be over.

They reached the end of the wormhole and the ship stopped shaking madly around as it continued its course towards Traverse Town.

Everyone sighs in relief as the ship withstood the wormhole again when John says, "I will have to give the ship a second glance with Cid just to make sure that we can travel safely through a wormhole without fearing that it will fall apart."

"Where are we going?" asks Geppetto again as he looked at John and suddenly stopped.

"You again," says Geppetto as John looked at him confused.

"Geppetto, he isn't the man you met but his father," says Nesiara as John stood up and Geppetto could see that Nesiara told the truth since John was far too tall.

Geppetto could also see John's blue eyes which contained lightning sparks in them when Geppetto says, "I'm sorry about that. Where is the girl by the way? I was looking over here before I felt someone hit the back of my head."

"Someone kidnapped her and used Pinocchio as the bait to lead us away," says Jiminy angry as he stood on Sora's shoulder.

"Now he might have a reason for that," says Nesiara as she was resting her head on her right palm thinking about what happened in Monstro when she realizes something.

"I forgot to collect the Dalmatian," says Nesiara worried as she stood up and looked at John.

"Use the normal ones and get all of them in one go," says John as they could have overseen some Dalmatians in other worlds while Nesiara disappears.

"She should use what?" asks Donald suspicious as John looked at him.

"Genie isn't the only being that can grant wishes. There is a Dragon that lives inside seven magical balls...," says John telling them about the Dragonballs and that they can fulfill some wishes that are reasonable while telling them that some wishes get denied like their wish of getting Leon back.

"So they can't get us neither the King nor Sora's friends back," says Goofy going by the logic of them not being able Leon back to Nesiara and John.

"Exactly, and they are normally the last straw we pull out," says John as Traverse was in their sight when Nesiara appears again with the rest of the Dalmatian puppies.

"We have them all," says Nesiara as the ship was slowing down.

They landed on Traverse Town and disembarked from the ship when Geppetto asks, "Do you think I and my son could build a house in this town?"

"It shouldn't be difficult since it is a refugee town taking every refugee from the other worlds that are falling into darkness," says Nesiara giving the old man hope.

"Maybe you should come to it. I am quite the carpenter and designer. I can design some of the best Gummi Ships for you once I have settled in but until then I can gift you this here," says Geppetto as he put his hand into his pocket.

"Now where was it," says Geppetto as he was going through another pocket and says, "Ah, finally found it."

He pulls a Keychain with a star on it. He gives it to Sora who accepted it and it soon transformed into the Wishing Star Keyblade making Sora quite happy.

"Thank you for the keychain," says Sora as he began to swing it to get a good feeling on the Wishing Star.

They walked towards Cid when they asked him where Geppetto could build his house making Cid point at a corner while telling them he could the whole corner on the right side of the shop.

John and Nesiara made some clones that would help Geppetto in completing it faster when John says, "I need your help."

"What do you need?" asks Cid as he and John left together.

"The ship is quite unstable entering a wormhole. I need some stabilizers that don't shake the life out of us," says John as Cid seemed to be thinking.

"We could try to build more engines and stabilizers on it. It should make it fly faster and hold everything together reducing the shaking from traveling using the wormhole," says Cid as they arrived at the ship.

He looked at the ship and sees some damages on it when he says, "I think we can call it luck that you made it back through the wormhole with the ship in this state."

"We got swallowed by Monstro before we traveled through the wormhole. I had to make a shift reparation as all engines stopped working and the power was out," says John explaining the situation the ship had to suffer through before coming back.

"I told you to be careful of that beast. It could have destroyed the ship or worse killed the trio," says Cid as he wasn't worried about John and Nesiara.

"We couldn't evade the beast since it had two of my descendants inside it," says John as Cid looked serious at John.

"Was it your son and that Kairi?" asks Cid as John nods.

"That's right, but someone kidnapped Kairi and my son disappeared before I could see him. My wife might have had a conversation with him but we can't be too sure since she hasn't seen his face," says John as Cid began to remove the damaged parts of the ship.

"So you have a new lead on your son. But who kidnapped Kairi?" asks Cid as John sighs.

"It seems to be one of Sora's friends that is being manipulated by someone at the moment," says John as Cid frowns.

"That is horrible," says Cid as John nods sadly.

"It is, believing in one person without knowing that he is only using you to get closer to his goal. It is quite horrible," says John as he placed the new parts in their place.

"Does the kid know?" asks Cid worried about Sora.

"He knows that it was his friend but he doesn't know that he is being manipulated yet," says John as Cid nods.

"Good, he needs motivation. If he knew that his friend is manipulated he would rather be sad and lose if they ever have to fight each other," says Cid as he installed the new stabilizers in the ship.

"I hope so as well. Soon they will fight each other and I won't be able to interfere in their fight," says John as he finished replacing the damaged parts with the new ones and went to install more engines.

"Where are they by the way?" asks Cid as John stopped working.

He concentrated for a moment when he says, "They are in Olympus. Nesiara must have brought them there to the Coliseum so they can participate in a tournament most likely."

"We also had tournaments in Radiant Garden. Leon almost became champion if he could have kept his coolness in the final round," says Cid as John smiled.

"That doesn't sound like him," says John as Cid laughs.

"I know right. Anyway, he lost to a Crownguard who died back then defending us all," says Cid before he smiled sadly.

"There is a way to bring them all back but we will wait until it is time," says John cryptic making Cid look at him confused while they continued working on the ship.
