Hollow Bastion part 1

The group was sleeping while the ship was flying towards the new world as they didn't rest since the tournament in the Coliseum.

They were floating over the world when they woke up and John landed the ship while the trio was still sleeping.

"Now comes the point when Sora loses his Keyblade to Riku," says John towards Nesiara as Nesiara looked outside the window.

"Do we interfere?" asks Nesiara as John shakes his head.

"No, Sora will find the way and we will be by his side when it happens. He almost reminds me of Bran shouldering everything on his shoulders hiding it behind his sarcasm and jokes while Sora uses his honesty and innocence," says John as Nesiara smiles.

"Sora is learning some sarcasm from you. It is still bad but he is trying," says Nesiara informing John about it.

John and Nesiara then prepared some sandwiches for the trio as they were almost done when the trio woke up from smelling the molten cheese.

"Breakfast," says Sora as he falls from his seat when the other two joined him.

"Yeah," says Nesiara handing them the food while continuing, "Be careful it is hot."

The warning came too late for Donald and Sora who already took a bite from their sandwiches burning their tongue with the cheese while Goofy was lucky that he dropped his sandwich which John caught before it touched the ground.

"Thank you," says Goofy as John handed him the sandwich back while the other two were trying to cool off their tongues with a drink.

"Where are we by the way?" asks Sora looking outside the window.

"I landed the ship near the Castle that was visible from space," says John as he took a bite from his Lembas which was filled with meat.

"Do you think Riku and Kairi are in this world?" asks Sora as John petted his head.

"We will find out once we explore it," says John as they finished eating before they left the ship and they stood on a platform.

"I have a feeling we will find them here," says Sora as he looked at the castle.

"We should split up like always. I and Nesiara will explore the bottom floor and you the upper floor. That way we will save time," says John as the trio agrees.

The trio was ready to leave when John stopped Sora and says, "Sora one more thing."

"Yes?" says Sora confused as he sees John trying to hide his worried face.

"In our worst moment we have to show that we can rise out of it stronger than before," says John as he places his hand on Sora's shoulder while saying, "If that moment comes for you promise me that you will rise out of it and continue on your path of saving Kairi and Riku."

"I will do my best," says Sora with a smile on his face as John and Nesiara jumped down to the lower floor.

"You are more nervous than normal," says Nesiara as John looks at her.

"I am worried that something happens to him as it happened to Bran just that this time we won't get him back," says John as they find Heartless on their way.

"He isn't as reckless as Bran," says Nesiara as Alpha appeared in her hand while John only was surrounded by Alpha.

"Let's take care of them before we continue talking," says Nesiara as she launches herself into the heart of the formation of the Heartless first followed by John.

In the meantime, Leon was in Quadratum. He walked around the city as he couldn't go to Radiant Garden or he would lose control of himself just to kill Maleficent.

"Master!" says Yozora as he was walking beside Leon.

"Yes, Yozora?" asks Leon as he looked at Yozora and sees Yozora pointing at a building.

"It is beginning again," says Yozora as he pulled his weapons out when suddenly three other people walked over pulling out their weapons.

"It has begun already," says Leon seriously as he summoned his sword with the red edge.

"Yozora, you and the others look after the civilians," says Leon seriously.

"But I can fight," says Yozora as Leon grabbed him by his shirt.

"That was a command. The next time you can deal with the situation but for now, evacuated the people," commands Leon making clear to Yozora that he won't be fighting this time when he turns around and continues, "That goes for you three as well."

They all looked disappointed when Leon's arm turned black as did the sword he was holding as the edge wasn't glowing any longer.

Leon then put pressure on his front foot before he took off making a shockwave from the strength he used and left a mark of his sole on the ground. The shockwave sent the four friends a bit back from their previous position.

Leon was already on the building on which the mechs were appearing when he swings his sword cutting through them with a clean swing splitting them in two.

Soon more mechs appeared all over Quadratum when Leon's eyes turned red and he took a deep breath when he says in a cold tone, "That is enough."

Soon Quadratum turned grey for a second before the color returned and all the mechs, as well as some of the people, stopped moving.

Leon's body suddenly turned into black smoke and disappeared from his position and appeared in one that was full of dysfunctional mechs.

He kills them while thinking, 'Kingdom Hearts appeared earlier as my student predicted it. Is it because my parents appeared or was it because I intervened as well.'

Leon continued with what he was doing while Yozora was excited from seeing him do what he just did when one of them asks, "What did he just use to paralyze everyone?"

"He calls that Conquerors Haki. He can be quite intimidating when he uses that unconsciously," says Yozora as they ran through the building helping the people out of their houses.

In the meantime with the couple, they just finished activating the mechanism that would allow the others to continue on the upper floors. They were about to go up to join the others again when Nesiara finds a secret passage.

"Where does this passage lead?" asks Nesiara she looked into it.

"I don't know but we have time to find out," says John as he entered the passage that had light at the end of it.

They follow it until reaching the light which brought them to the elevator system of the castle when John sees that it wasn't working as it normally should and walks over towards it.

"So many platforms and they aren't moving at all," says Nesiara as John began to play around with the instruments making the platforms move again as they should.

Nesiara grabbed John and dragged him onto one of the platforms that were moving up while saying, "Come we can at least use this situation for a moment of peace before we have to deal with everything that will follow after Sora defeats Riku."

"After he defeats Ansem we will part with him and go with Kairi," says John as Nesiara looked at John confused.

"You separate from Sora but why don't you want to nutrient him?" asks Nesiara confused as John smiles at her.

"If he can defeat Ansem he won't need us but everyone will forget about them except for us as we aren't from this Universe. I want to train Kairi for what is going to happen to her so she is stronger," says John as he could trust Sora to survive everything else with Donald and Goofy by his side.

"So we will train Kairi then," says Nesiara as John nods when Nesiara asks, "What about Lea?"

"We will meet him sooner or later while training Kairi," says John as they now had a clear view of where they landed the ship and separated from the trio.

"This is a nice and peaceful view for a world that is dying," says John as he was enjoying the view when Nesiara smiles.

"You mean a world that will soon recover from what is happening to it," says Nesiara as she leaned against John.

They soon arrived at the entrance of the castle and jump off the platform and enter the castle when they find Sora holding a wooden sword with the Beast by his side while Goofy was standing in front of Sora protecting him.

"I can't let you harm my friend," says Goofy in a determined tone that he wouldn't support Riku if he hurt one of his friends even if he was the Keyblade Wielder when Donald left his side as well.

"He is right. I think that the Keyblade has chosen wrongly by choosing you," says Donald leaving Riku's side as well joining Sora again.

"But I am the Keyblade Wielder. Are you going to disobey the orders of your King," says Riku as Donald and Goofy looked at Riku.

"Are you really a Keyblade Wielder or did you just use a moment of weakness to gain control of the Keyblade," says John as Riku looked at him confused.

"A moment of weakness," says Riku confused as John stretches his hand out and the Keyblade disappears from Riku's hand and appeared in his.

"Like playing out a card saying that Sora wasn't caring for his friends making him doubt himself so the Keyblade would choose a more determined mind," says John as he was holding the Keyblade.

"Sora remember what I told you before in the Coliseum and try to get your Keyblade back. If you can't get it you aren't worthy of it any longer and your journey will end here," says John in a serious tone as Sora remembered John's words.

He concentrated and the doubt in his heart vanished when he says, "I was doubting myself because of your words, Riku. But my friends will always be there to help me when I need them the most."

Soon the Keyblade left John's hand as he let it go and it returned into Sora's hands. He was now looking at Riku who only glared at them before darkness claimed him leaving the group behind.
