Guts vs John

John helped Guts to get rid of the poison in his system while Nesiara was high-fiving with Erica for her pulling it through before they changed the dishes with clean ones so Guts could eat normally without worrying about it.

Once Guts returned he inspected his dishes twice before beginning to eat again while Godot beside him was sweating a bit when Guts says, "The man that marries you is a poor fellow."

"Better a poor fellow than a good-for-nothing that can only swing his sword," counters Erica making Nesiara chuckle from hearing that.

"Peace, you two. We are all friends here and Guts don't take a little prank that seriously," says John as Guts looked at him seriously.

"He is right we are all friends here. You two should calm down for a bit," says Godot as he looks at both of them.

"Erica, you will need to learn a bit more self-restraint. A little prank like this is fun but you shouldn't insult your friends. They are all we have in our world except for our family," says Nesiara as she pets Erica's head.

"I was just paying him back nothing more nothing less. We are now even," says Erica as Nesiara smiled at her student.

"How is the sword?" asks John as Godot turns to him.

"It is finished but we should wait until tomorrow," says Godot as he didn't want to risk it.

"I think Nesiara could help there," says John looking at his wife.

"You want me to use the Time Stone?" asks Nesiara as John nods.

"Yes, you should be able to fast-forward time so everything sits right," says John as Nesiara sighs and goes with John back into the smithy followed by the others.

Nesiara was suddenly in her armor as green circles appeared in front of her hand surprising Guts as well as Godot who never saw such a well-made armor. She moved her hand in a clockwise direction as the sword seemed to age in front of them.

Nesiara stopped and the circles disappeared while she says, "Alright, everything is done."

Godot walked towards Nesiara as he inspected her armor when he says, "No craftsman is able to make such an armor. Who made this armor?"

"It is an armor that was made out of two armors that fused together," says Nesiara when a man appeared out of nowhere.

"There you are wrong this armor was made out of four armors," says Jack as he surprised them.

"First would be the Monkey King's Armor and my previous Cybernetic Armor. Then the armor fused with Erlang Shen's armor after I inherited his powers. And the at last was Nezha's armor that fused with that armor," says Jack pointing at some ornaments on the armor that showed from which armor they originated from.

"To be clear to you smith this armor was made out of four armor sets that belonged to Gods as their divine power created those armors except for one which was made by my father," says Jack as he then looked at Godot that wanted to know more now.

Guts, on the other hand, picked the sword up and it seemed to perfectly fit in his hand. He wanted to swing it when Jack stopped him by using one finger surprising him as well as Godot and Erica.

"Will I be as strong as him?" asks Erica seeing this scene as Jack chuckles a bit before petting her head.

"If you continue to train you might get somewhere near my power level," says Jack with a smile making Erica feel motivated about training more.

"How about you take it outside. I want to see how Lancelot keeps up with the Dragon Slayer," says Jack as he snaps and they appear outside.

"Are we going by mercenary rules or normal duel rules?" asks Jack looking at both John and Guts.

"I don't really care," says John as he moved his hand behind his back when suddenly a handle appeared out of nowhere.

John grasps it and Dragon Slayer appeared in his hand.

Guts saw the sword and wasn't believing what he was seeing as the sword was bigger than him and thicker than his arms. John rested Dragon Slayer on his shoulder as he looked at Guts.

"You ready for the fight?" asks John as Guts was already holding his new sword.

"You know the sword you are holding is named Lancelot. It is named after a knight that was loyal to his king until the end," says John as he looked at Guts before saying, "The sword should be loyal to you as was Lancelot to his king. It will never betray you excerpts you do so."

Guts looked at Lancelot before he holds it with both hands and he suddenly felt lighter than before when John says, "I enchanted the sword with some unique runes that will make it lighter when you use two hands to wield it."

"You will be faster and stronger as well. Shall we test it out," says John as he looked at Guts who seemed to be like a child on Christmas Eve who unpacking his gift.

"We are going by normal duel rules," says Guts as he was in his stance holding his blade with both hands.

"So be it. Normal duel rules. Once one of you is unable to continue the fight is over. If one of you suffers a grave wound the opponent wins. Are you both ready?" says Jack as he looked at both when Nesiara retreat with Godot and Erica.

"Erica, I want you to keep a close eye on this fight. You could learn much from it," says Nesiara as John takes Dragon Slayer in both hands.

"Fight!" shouts Jack as Guts rushed at John feeling powerful thanks to Lancelot.

John looked at him when Guts tries to slash through him only to find Dragon Slayer between John and Lancelot. John pushes Guts back before rushing at him. Guts sees that and prepares for John's attack as the attack seemed to come from the right.

Guts raises Lancelot to block the attack when Dragon Slayer disappears and appeared again on the left side making Guts roll out of the way to evade Dragon Slayer.

"Why is John not going serious against Guts?" asks Erica as she saw John's strength once when Nesiara and John were practicing.

"If John were to go serious against Guts, Guts would be completely devastated by the fight," says Nesiara as John was going easy on Guts.

Guts clashed over and over with John who didn't move from his spot since his first attack. Guts didn't even seem to notice it until he looked that the place John was standing on had his footprints visible while the grass was around it.

Guts felt a bit exhausted from swinging Lancelot the whole time but he didn't show it but John could feel it as he placed Dragon Slayer against his shoulder while saying, "Be honored, I will be using one technique that a friend of mine created."

Suddenly blue energy began to envelop John as he rushed at Guts, Dragon Slayer began to be enveloped in the same energy while John shouts, "Omnislash!"

Guts didn't know what was going on as John passed him but he felt the blunt side of Dragon Slayer hit him instead of the sharp side which sends him flying from his position.

Guts was about to hit a tree when Jack caught him and says, "It seems the fight is over, John wins."

"I can still fight," says Guts as he tried to free himself from Jack's grip only to find out that his legs were as soft as spaghetti which were al dente.

John looked at Guts and was in a position to attack again but this time he was holding Dragon Slayer with his right hand as if it was a dagger while saying, "Are you sure you want to continue this duel. It could end badly if I go all out."

"Bring it," says Guts using Lancelot to stand up as he looked at John seriously.

He has finally met someone that could overpower him in this world as John smiled at Guts who raised his defense in excitement to see what came next when John swung his sword faster than sound which the people could hear as a sonic boom came out of nowhere while a wind blade went for Guts.

Guts wanted to dodge when suddenly three more sonic booms were heard and Guts knew it was over as he could see the trajectory of the wind blades coming for him. The first one went straight for him while the other three were covering the three paths he could use to dodge.

Guts took the hit like a man as a deep cut appeared in his armor and blood flew out of it making Godot and Erica worry when John walked over and healed him while saying, "Well fought warrior. If you were born a Viking they would welcome you to Valhalla to dine with their gods."

"But since we are in your world such a thing will not happen except the gods notice you," says Jack as he walked over towards John and Guts seeing how John was closing the wound.

"Can you leave the scar? It will motivate me to train harder," says Guts as John smiled.

"If course," says John as he healed the wound until a scar was left visible on his worse that began on his under right side and ended on the upper left side right on the left shoulder.

"A scar can tell what kind of warrior you are, Guts. Stand tall and you will overcome any trial thrown at you by us Gods," says Jack as he put his hand on Guts shoulder before Guts felt warm as if something grew inside of him.

"Gods?" asks Guts as Jack smiles.

"Well let us say I am the shadow of a very powerful God that can kill any world just like this," says Jack snapping his fingers before turning to Nesiara and continues, "Nesiara is his descendant while John over here is mine. Also, if you allow them to follow you for a while they will teach you how to control your new power."

"Which power?" asks Guts as Jack smiled.

"You will soon find out as you will be a beacon of light in the darkness. More I won't say," says Jack as he vanished from there while John sighs.

"Talking in riddles again," says John as he helped Guts up.

"You should rest for today. We will talk tomorrow about the rest," says John as he helped Guts inside Godot's house.
