Eugeo's First Fight

Everything was normal for the next few weeks as John was training with Yui so she could defend her siblings as he taught her how to use Ki and Chakra while the twins were watching from their mother's lap.

Once in a while Kirito and Eugeo came by to train swordsmanship. He taught them as Eugeo found a sword that looked like it was made out of Ice.

Eugeo was learning from John quite fast since he was a novice that never swung a sword before while Kirito always trained by himself because he had his fighting style.

After training, they would return to their task to bring the Gigas Cedar down. This went on until one day Selka disappeared from the Church making Kirito and Eugeo nervous as they began to look for her.

"It seems it's time to move soon," says John as Nesiara nods while Yui looked confused at first until curiosity got the better out of her.

"Where are we going?" asks Yui curious as John was about to leave.

"We will be going to a big city but for now," says John while petting her and continues, "How about you and your companion come with me. It would be a nice training for you all."

Yui nods as she follows John out. Inu transformed into Garurumon and carried them towards where John was pointing him to go.

They arrive near an entrance to a cave as they see footprints of three different people and John says, "It seems they are already inside. Inu, you must go faster or we might arrive too late."

Inu rushes into the cave while John used Candlelight many times creating many balls of light appear beside him.

They arrived in a big room and find goblins fighting Kirito and Eugeo while Selka was about to be dragged away by them.

"Yui time for you to shine," says John as Yui nods and turns into BurningGreymon while Dino turned into Greymon while Inu joined them.

They fight against the goblins trying to save Selka while John went over to look after Kirito and Eugeo. Kirito had no problem but Eugeo was quite nervous because it was his first fight.

Eugeo was scared to kill when John says, "Eugeo, you need to learn a simple rule that exists everywhere."

John came over as he unsheathes Yamato and kills a goblin while saying, "The Strong survived and the weak died. That's the rule of the world."

John advanced towards where his daughter was and with every step a goblin fell to the ground as it's upper body was separated by it's lower half.

"You need to learn that sometimes it is necessary to kill your enemy without thinking much about it. The more you hesitate the easier your enemies will find a way to kill you," says John as the boss of the goblins was fighting Kirito.

"The sooner you understand that you must kill to survive the easier it will for you to find her again," says John as he arrived at Yui's side.

Eugeo suddenly turns to see something he would never forget. Carnage was around John as a giant wolf was ripping the throat of a goblin apart. A giant lizard was burning a group of goblins while another one was ripping them apart leaving the bodies bleeding out.

Eugeo got cold feet suddenly as his legs suddenly became jelly shaking around almost losing footing when John says, "You want to save Alice. Then you should be prepared that something like this will happen. Being a warrior means that you are training for war."

John then appears behind Eugeo as a sword came from behind him and he continues, "And war is messy. On the battlefield, there is no right or wrong only people that try to survive to see the next day."

He kills the goblin and says, "Remember it. It will help you on the way to recuperate the person you are trying to find."

Then he sheaths his sword and puts his hands on Eugeo's shoulders while he says, "Now show me what you learned from me."

He then pushes Eugeo forward towards a goblin and Eugeo out of instinct pierced it because of the strength John used to push him.

That was his first kill but he didn't have much time to think when a sword came after him. He tried to block but his sword was stuck inside the goblin when John blocks for him.

"The second skill you need on the battlefield is awareness. You need to know where your enemy is at all times. Look at those three," says John as he pointed at Yui and the other two.

They mostly showed the back to their enemies but always somehow knew where to attack even when they didn't see the enemy.

"Yui isn't that aware yet because she has three protectors by her side but it's good enough that I don't need to worry about her when she is her risking her life," says John as Eugeo freed his sword and attacked the goblin that John blocked before.

"Three protectors? But I only see two," says Eugeo confused as he killed for the second time.

"Kayle is her last protector it's normal not to see her just let me tell you that she is stronger than the other two," says John as he evades the blades of the goblins easily looking like he was taking a walk through the forest.

Eugeo was quite nervous while having the feeling that he needed to throw up. John then picks him up and says, "Go help Kirito. I will take care of those here."

He throws Eugeo over towards Kirito's side as he then bowls his fist while he says seriously, "It's been long since I used my fist to kill. Come at me."

An Aura surrounded John as some sparks of Lightning began to appear over his skin. He rushes at the goblins while they did the same. He kills one with a punch when the weapons of the goblins touch his skin but don't go further.

"Is that all," says John as he then picks a goblin by his head and smashes the head with his hand while punching another goblin away making their weapons fall to the ground while the other goblins panicked and began to run for their life.

"Not so fast," says John as a red aura surrounds him and he became faster than before. He kills them easily and then sits down to watch the fight between the goblin chief and the duo.

"Are you not going to help?" asks Yui as she was done with her side.

Selka was safe beside her and the other two were back on their Rookie-level.

"No, that something they need to deal with themselves," says John as he watches how Kirito and Eugeo were struggling to defeat the goblin chief.

John then draws a rune on the ground. He touched it and suddenly Eugeo and Kirito felt lighter than before and defeated the goblin chief while wiping the rune away from the ground.

"Let's return the others just be worried about Selka and you two," says John as they nod.

Int transformed back into his Champion-level.

He carried them out of the cave as they arrived at the end of the tunnel they find themselves on the right side and Inu continued until arriving at their house from there the other three continued on their way to Rulid.

They enter the house and Nesiara who was looking after the twins asks, "How did they make themselves?"

"Kirito was good as always and Eugeo needed a little push," says John as he then picks Yui up and says, "But the brightest star is our princess here. She and her companions defeated the most goblins."

Yui was quite happy with the praise of her father as the others could see it with her having a smile from ear to ear.

"How did the day with the twins go?" asks John as he sits down in front of both as Nora walked towards his lap.

She sat down on his lap as Kieron walked over to sit there too. Both shared the lap with Yui as Nesiara says, "They were peaceful today. It must be because their father wasn't around."

Then Kieron suddenly climbed onto John's shoulder as he pointed towards the smithery wanting to see what his father would make this time when John picked him up while smiling.

"You are still too young," says John with a smile as he puts Kieron back to his lap and says, "Yui can you sit across me. I want your siblings to see something nice because it's something they could learn."

Yui sits across John who then creates a ki ball that was small enough that could rest on the hands of Nora and Kieron.

"Catch," says John as he throws it softly towards Yui who catches it over her palm.

John opens his palm ready to catch the ball as Yui throws it to him he catches it and both Nora and Kieron were excited to see him and Yui do that.

"Do you want to try it too?" asks John as he wanted them to play while training a little bit their ki since ki was the easiest and safest thing they could train in for now.

Both had sparkles in their eyes as they wanted to try it. John created two balls as he let them float near their tiny hands as he sees that Nora got a hang of it on the get-go.

Kieron had some difficulties but once he used both hands the ball didn't try to walk away. Then they throw it with their little strength at Yui who catches them easily.

"It seems you are having fun," says Nesiara as she walked in holding the food of the twins.

Both looked at their mother as they wanted to be praised by her for their achievement and Nesiara smiles while saying, "I'm quite proud of you two it seems you have some nice Wyrm cells in you since we are trained from young."

Kieron felt quite proud of it as Nesiara picked him up as well as Nora who was also happy to be praised by their mother.

Nesiara then puts them in their baby seats as John stands up to help her feed the twins and Yui watched as she assisted them.
