"Leave him to me. Stay here and protect the queen. There will be consequences if you let something happen to her while I am away," Lilith warned the demons standing outside the door. 

She looked down the hall at Fraser running for his life, freezing up each time he came face to face with a demon.

Lilith placed her hands behind her back and started to skip after him. This was some of the most fun she had in years so she wanted it to last a bit longer. She had a feeling he was either running to the gates or the temple. 

She hoped it wasn't the latter since she was never fond of churches or temples before she was a demon. Sitting inside one always made her think of the bad things she had done to survive and the priests inside were always judging her though they were the same ones who turned her away before she turned to killing others to survive.
