Chapter 277
Killian watched Amelia draw closer to him despite her falling asleep backing him. He spent most of the night awake, listening to the busy castle. No one had made an attempt to come to their room, but it didn't mean something wouldn't happen today.
While he kept an eye on Amelia, Alastor kept an eye on Fraser and received information from the demons they had left here. Killian welcomed a fight from the Blackwells since he was in the mood to kill.
In the beginning, he planned to let Amelia do as she wanted here while he remained in the back supporting her decisions, but Margaret changed that. The temple would be his last stop before he would head back up the north. By then, Lilith and the others should be here with Amelia to protect her and he was making the last-minute decision to leave Alastor with Amelia.
