Chapter 276

"I miss the awkward dinners with Agramon and having to listen to Lucifer talk about himself," Amelia said as she took off her necklace.

Somehow, dinner ended peacefully and she had not argued with anyone. Her grandmother did not try to speak to her about the temple or leaving Killian again and Fraser was surprisingly quiet. It meant that he was plotting something probably foolish but he thought it was a good idea.

Amelia couldn't think of anything else, but falling down onto her bed and going to sleep. Tomorrow was a big day and she had to be well rested since there was a big role she had to play in taking over the Blackwell castle.

Killian, on the other hand, did not need the rest. He could stay awake for as long as he wanted to keep an eye on what Fraser or anyone else was plotting.

"You seemed to have enjoyed dinner," Amelia said, watching him pour himself wine he had snuck away from the table.
