Chapter 230

Beth released Fraser's hand when they reached the throne room. She gave him a pat on the back and left to find her seat at the front. Fraser was all on his own to do as they practiced. She wanted nothing to go wrong with Fraser's big day.

Beth wasn't against sitting next to Margaret so she could see what the old woman would be up to.

Beth walked with grace and greeted some of the people from the towns or villages who addressed her as princess.  Beth missed hearing the title. She quickly found her seat at the front next to Margaret who was already seated.

"Hello Lady Margaret," Beth said as she sat down. A lot of eyes were watching their every move so she put on a show as always.

"Lady Beth," Margaret replied, smiling at Beth before looking elsewhere.

They both knew the people should never know about clashes in the castle.
