"Wow. A lot of them have gathered at the gates. Really puts into perspective how many people owned someone else and this is not even all of them. The more corrupt people in the slave trade are somewhere trying to hide the people," Amelia said as she and Killian walked down the steps where a horse was waiting for them.
"I've pulled a lot of the corrupt ones out of their holes and sent them for your guards to inspect them. I'm sure many of them have connections in the castle to help them get out. If it is fine with you, they will die for some reason."
Amelia caught on to what Killian was trying to say. If they allowed these people to get away there was a strong possibility of them going back to be involved in the slave trade she was trying so hard to make disappear. "Do whatever you want as long as innocent people who had no part in it are not hurt. You will have a lot of men from court trying to bribe you to not hurt their friends," she said.
