Chapter Seven My name is Santa Claus

Runes POV

I woke up by little kids laughter. I groaned and dragged myself out of bed as I walked into the living room just as Jason sat down on the couch. I pondered out loud," What's for breakfast?"

" I'll fix eggs and bacon later. How long do you think it will take till Percy finds out your missing." I responded after thinking for a moment," Till either Belle tells him or when he yells at me and goes into my room to find out I'm not there."

Jason stated," Percy always wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer if you know what I mean." I chuckled slightly," I know what you mean, but if he calls you, will you tell him I'm here?" Jason said," If he's worried then I will."

" He's not going to care- he only cares about Belle." Jason sighed," Rune your dad does care about you. You just need to give him a chance to prove it. " " Then why does he only yell at me? He blames me for everything. Something bad happens, it's my fault. I know that somethings I do not so great stuff but that doesn't mean I want to hurt them."

I continued, "I just wish they would understand how I feel sometimes. " Jason said as he got off the couch," Show them. It isn't good to keep your emotions to yourself all the time." I thought for a moment," I'll try but it's hard."

Jason's phone began ringing. I picked it up before he could. I said into the phone," Yes?" A voice said in response," Rune is that you?" I said with sarcasm," No it's Santa Claus." The voice sighed.

" Thank the Lord your ok. I was so worried." I rolled my eyes and added sarcasm in my voice again," I'm sure you were dad." Yep, my father called. Took him long enough to find out I ran away, "Just please come home Rune. I need to see you're ok."

I ignored him and asked," Is mom home? I want to talk to her." " No. Your sister sent her to Rome by accident." " So you really just really wanted me to go and get her? wow, just wow. If you wanted to get mom, Belle can teleport." Dad quickly replied," No, it's not like that Rune!"

" Bye - Bye. " Dad said, well yelled," Rune Eli Jackson don't you dare -" I hung up. I chuckled and said out loud," Oops. My finger slipped." I heard Jason chuckle and then took his phone out of my hand," If he calls back, hand it back to me. I have one last thing I want to do."

Jason said," Alright but really Santa Claus?" I nodded and said," Yep." I went back into the living room while Jason fixed breakfast. Piper came down the stairs, she asked," Where are the kids?" " They are upstairs playing while Jason is cooking breakfast. " Piper sighed in relief.

I said, as Piper sat down on the couch," I forgot to say. My father called not too long ago. " Piper laughed lightly," What did you do?" I asked dramatically," What makes you think I did something?" " You're Rune. You always have sass and sarcasm, it's a part of you."

I said," Ok I get it." She looked at me to continue," I might have hung up in his face when he told me not to." Piper asked," You got mad?" I nodded," Why?" I sighed," He called just so I could go bring mom back." She looked at me confused.

I added," Belle sent her to Rome by accident. She must have just gotten a new power." Jason said in the kitchen," Rune! Breakfast is ready! Can you go get the kids while I go wake up Piper?!" " Piper's already awake but sure I'll get the kids." I went upstairs and said getting the kids attention," Kids breakfast is ready!"

They ran past me. I followed them down the stairs and to the living room. Jason said as he saw me," Percy called again, said something about your grounded and that Belle says hi." I'm grounded because I hung up in his face? What has the world come to?

I'll just wait until they come here - the house is just too far away, plus I got the perfect idea for when they do come, but I have to plan it just right. Belle sent mom to Rome, dad wants me to go and fetch her? I rather keep my butt here.

I was helping Jason clean the dishes. Yeah, I know, me helping? I offered to, I mean Jason and Piper are like my second parents to me. They don't yell at me and they don't hurt me as my dad does. He doesn't even care about me.

The doorbell rung. I said to Piper, who I noticed who was about to get off the couch," I got it, Piper." I opened the door and saw Belle and my dad standing there. I quickly shut the door," Who's there Rune?" " Oh, you know no one important." Jason came next to me and rolled his eyes.

He said slightly annoyed, you know like a parent would be," Rune, it's not nice to slam the door in people's faces." He opens the door and sees Belle and my dad. Dad has a very angry and worried look while Belle just looked amused. Jason slammed the door quickly as I mocked him from what he said before," Jason, it's not nice to slam the door in people's faces."

He glared at me and said," Did you see how angry he was?" " You probably just made it worse." Dad yelled," Rune come out here now!" I yelled back," Rune's not here. It's Santa!"

Belle yelled after a short silent moment," What is with you and Santa Claus Rune?!" I looked at Jason and Piper who were both waiting for my response. I yelled before thinking," Becuase my name is Santa Claus!"
