Yunzhu and Chuling Cleanse Their Marrow

Feng Tianlan nodded slightly. She could empathize with Luo Yunzhu. In this cruel, dog-eat-dog world, only the fittest survived. The weak remained downtrodden and were unable to protect themselves—let alone other people.
Chuling stood to one side and watched Luo Yunzhu enviously. How nice to be able to cleanse the marrow and become stronger, she thought. She also wanted to become stronger and protect her Miss, but she was only a maidservant and had no such privilege.
"This is yours," Feng Tianlan said when she saw Chuling looking on in envy. She passed her a ceramic bottle. "As long as you can get through this, you're one of us."
"Miss, this is…" Chuling looked at Feng Tianlan, confused.
"It's a Marrow Cleansing Pill."
Chuling's eyes opened wide when she heard these words. She wanted to reject the offer, but Feng Tianlan interrupted her, "I made this one—I didn't buy it. So, don't worry and just take it."
