Clash II

Stepping out of the rubble, a vulture-like beast emerged.

It had feathers of the darkest shade of night, a sharp angled beak painted golden like the rays of the sun and four eyes that stared down one's soul with malice.

The beast stood at a height similar to several carriages stacked on top of each other, and at a width of a humble shack. Yet, when it unfurled its wings, their tips stretched long and wide where multiple humans could lay comfortably on each side.

A shrill escaped its maw and the beast shot forth into its most comfortable domain.

Out in the sky, under the shocked and frightened gaze of one very ‘brave’ Centaur and a human’s solemn one, the beast spun like a sniper’s bullet and hovered above them menacingly.

Its body tore through the branches of the tall trees and let the rays of sunlight break through their entrapment, shining brightly on its sleek body showing close to no injuries.
