Chapter 1: What's real and What's a dream

At a tiny house in an Isolated area, two brothers are playing hide and seek in the woods and as always Shin the older one lets his younger brother Akiru win because he always cries like a baby when he loses then after some long rounds they get ready for lunch before it becomes dark.

Inside the house their mother Yuri cooking their favourite food as a reward for helping her a lot this month since their father has left the house after a heated argument he had with their mother but they didn't know what it was about.

Back to the woods Akiru doesn't want to return until they play another round.

"The sky is getting dark and you know what that means", said Shin.

And just as Akiru heard those words he took his brother's hand tightly and both of them ran home at full speed.

When they reached home the dinner was already served and mother is sitting on the table scared to death crying when she heard the door knocking she wiped her tears and ran to open it and hugged her sons so strong that they were out of breath.

"Don't worry mom we're okay nothing happened Dad taught me how to reach 10% of my mental powers before he left and I can protect Akiru now" said Shin who was 16 at the moment and passed the age their father has set to train on the mental powers.

"And why didn't he train me like you", Akiru frowned.

"You're still ten you can't train on it now or your head would explode", Shin chuckled.

Now the family is having lunch and Shin was telling Akiru how exhausting his training was but how awesome his new power was and Yuri was watching the two smiling until Shin said: "I can't wait till father comes back and trains me to be very strong like him", Yuri became sad again and told her children that their father is probably not coming back again from his journey.

"WHAT!!?"

"WHY!!??", said the two boys.

"He said that he will search for the truth about life or something like that", Yuri answered.

After hearing this Shin was devastated and didn't believe what he was hearing from his mother ,"You're lying to us you Don't want him to come back because of the fight you had before you're the reason why he left", The lights want out after this scream of anger from Shin.

After this Shin ran out of the house crying and Yuri told Akiru to follow him and get him back before they see him.

Akiru did what Yuri told him and went to follow his brother then he saw him heading to the woods Akiru ran after his brother but he was afraid that he gets caught by these things.

After some searching he didn't find his brother so he began to make his way back home quickly and during his way home he heard sounds coming from behind he turned his back to see what was happening and it was the most terrifying thing he has ever seen.

It was a very huge creature seems like a tiger but in the body of a bear and it was so huge he couldn't see the trees behind it then he started to scream looking for any help in this empty woods.

On the other hand about meters away there was Shin sitting in the place he used to train at with his father when suddenly he heard screaming and as he recognised his brother's voice he jumped up and went to see what is happening to his brother.

After some running Akiru was very tired and couldn't continue then he heard Shin telling him that he's coming to rescue him and climbed a big tree to earn some time for his brother.

And when Shin reached to his brother's voice he found the creature was about to catch Akiru so he started to do like his father taught him and gathered the power surrounding him in his hand when suddenly he felt like his hand was on fire he opened his eye and saw something like lightening in his hands then he threw it at the creature which burned into dust in seconds and like that Akiru was saved

Akiru ran into his brother and hugged him tightly and said crying "You must teach me this someday" and a moment later they decided to go back home before anything comes again.

When they came back Yuri hugged them again crying and now Akiru told her how his older brother saved him from this creature and then Yuri said: "I'm really sorry Shin about what I said before I just wasn't thinking right I really want your father to come back too".

"It's ok mom I know you wouldn't do anything to hurt us", said Shin, and after this long day the family ate dinner and everyone went to their bed and called it a day.

After some hours, Akiru finds himself on the floor and his mother in front of him crying and Shin is standing and in his hand his lightening power and just looking at Akiru without emotions then Yuri told Shin to kill her not Akiru and told Akiru to run and she told him that she will always love him and just like this Shin threw his lightning on his mother killing her and knocked Akiru out.

Akiru wakes up on his bed now 15 years old and it's all dark he went to grab a glass of water then he went to bed again knowing that he dreams every time he sleeps about this sad day since it happened and don't know why.
