"Well, I can actually communicate with anyone with the same ability as mine. My ability is one of those late bloomer abilities, so if anybody acquires it...Ummm, you can say I know everyone who has gained the ability at the moment..."

'Yup that guy just likes to approach everything from an analytic point of view, have some imagination man...'

We arrived at the Space station and stood next to the entrance. Alex didn't ask anything and just stood there waiting for the show to start.

'She did send her ticket number so there's that...'

We had to wait for 5 more minutes before Jack came out with a pink-haired girl in tow. 'Now that's a weird hair color...she seems unsure so I guess now is the time for the hero to step up…'

I stepped up to her and extended my hand, "Hey Reme, nice to meet you, call me Mike..." Finally, she seemed to lose some tension and shook my hand.

I looked back at Alex and he seemed to be judging her and her weak appearance. I ushered her to walk back towards the HQ and Alex and jack just followed us along. I took her back to HQ and looking at Alex's expression I just directed her towards our team's combat room. I took her aside and asked her…

"What level are you?"

"Level 11"

"Okay, when I give you a pen just put it in your inventory and then take it back out. I'll handle the rest okay. Just breathe and don't worry okay?"

She nods her head and I took a pen out of my inventory,' yes, the same one I stole from Axel's office earlier', and threw it to Reme. Reme took the pen and stored it in her inventory.

'Okay, I am not gonna lie, I enjoy the change in expression on Alex's face.' Alex controlled his face then turned towards me with a raised eyebrow.

"What?"

"Why does she seem so weak at 18 years old and you are stronger than most people at 14 years of age."

'...okay that was a question I was not expecting...'

"She just awakened her ability and thus needs to train in it to gain proficiency...In about 2 months her strength should be on par with me."

'Yep there it is a disbelieving look.'

"Jack please show Reme to a room next to Mike"

"Okay"

I looked at Reme who nodded as she and Jack slowly walked out of the room. I then turned to Alex and mimicked his expression of raised eyebrows.

"Wanna tell me how you found her...because you can not talk to her telepathically otherwise you didn't have to take her aside to tell her something. She didn't recognize you at the shuttle station so she never met you, so she couldn't have given you her watch I.D. before. Something doesn't add up here..."

I gaped at him for his thought process, 'Guess there is a reason that he is the team leader...'

*sigh*

"Alright, I guess I could try to explain it to you but I'll just fast forward a plan of mine...You guys have an information network right."

"Yes"

"I want you to search for what happened to every person with a recorded B+ regeneration ability."

Alex swiped at his watch and then started typing at the terminal. I just sat down at a nearby machine and wait for him to collect data and to come to his own conclusion. 'Yup this is how life should be, you should show your confusion and shock on your face and not bottle it up inside.'

"So what did you find?"

"There seems to be a pattern to the appearance of this ability users...My A.I. is calculating the pattern but I can see the names of one Mike White and Reme Storm on the list...Almost everyone else is either dead or declared missing, except a kid who was born a week ago...what is this Mike, and why does this photo not match your current, I would assume fake appearance."

I concentrated on changing back and started to change back to my original appearance. Alex seemed shocked at first then just silently thinking about the facts in his mind…

He sat down after a minute of thinking about the situation then looked at me with a searching expression.

"Change back."

'Well, that went better than expected...' I took the appearance of Rudolph before looking back at him.

"And"

"Seeing as you told me all this I am assuming you would tell me more about this..."

"Well I could tell you the whole story which is pretty long as even I don't know all of it yet, or I can just ask you how fast can you kidnap a 7-days old kid?"

"3 hours..."

"Meet me in my room then."

I turned around and walked toward my room leaving Alex standing in the combat room going back to his trusted watch.

-----Alex's POV 3 hours later-----

'Well, that blew up pretty fast...I don't know what I expect but It better be worth kidnapping a kid from a different planet.' I arrived at Mike's room and knocked three times. Upon opening the door Mike's visions straight up went towards the kid as he closed the door behind me. I gave him the kid and waited for him. I reacted a little too late as he just materialized a dagger and stabbed the kid straight through his blade.

'Wtf...wtf...wtf… he seemed okay with killing a 7-year old kid, a 7-year old kid.' As I was still staring at him in shock. A weird-looking terminal appeared in front of me.
