Hello readers, the author here. I am here to tell you that I have made some edits in the past chapters. If you have time you can skim through them and if you don't have time, I will just summarize them here.
Skill evolving has now been divided into two ways – progression bar and point upgrade. You already know about the first one so the second one is this:
Aiden will have to use skill points to level up and upgrade certain skills. The current skills like this are only Shadow Manipulation and Liquid changer V2.
Also, please try reading the first ten chapters if you have time but if not, it's all right.
Also, leveling up now gives Aiden skill points too. That's all for now.

'System, how many skill points do I have?'
< You have 51 skill points >
'Should I level this up?'
Aiden couldn't help but wonder whether leveling up shadow manipulation would help or not. The system had told him that it was an upgradable skill.
But Aiden didn't know when it would evolve or how much time and skill points it would take.
'Well, I guess I should do this.' He finally thought since he didn't have any new skills to unlock. 'System, put ten skill points in it.'
Ding!
[ The skill: Shadow Manipulation has leveled up.

'Upgrade it again system.' Aiden didn't even bother with checking the description of the skill as he directly upgraded it.
And with that, he finally got what he wanted.

'Where did the duration section go?'
< It went to take a poop break host. Of course, it was removed now that the skill has leveled up and you can use it easily. >
Aiden seemed annoyed by the system's words as he stood from his bed and started wearing his tracksuit.
He had just come home from the academy after the failed exploration and was now getting ready for his training session with his mother.
'If we meet another pair of rude nobles, I might just join mother in beating them,' Aiden thought while cracking his knuckles. 'After all, I haven't had a good frustration releasing fight in a long time.'
After that, he called his mother to take them to the training ground.
"Did something happen at the academy? You look annoyed?" As soon as Aysel saw her son, she instantly figured out that something was wrong.
"Am I predictable mother?"
"No you are no," Aysel reassured him with a smile. "A mother just knows how her child is feeling."
"Well, I tried escaping the imperial class and got stumped on the gate." Aiden told her everything from the beginning to the end honestly.
After all, he was still a ten-year-old child. He only had a little bit of maturity because of his previous life or otherwise, he would have been completely different.
"That happens every year. Children are impulsive you know and the students of the imperial class do it every year." Aysel's words soothed Aiden as he then remembered that he had to ask about the basics of the demon realm.
"Mother, please tell me about all the basics that I need to know about. It looks as though I don't know many things that my classmates seem to know."
Aysel looked surprised when she heard his words. She had indeed forgotten to tell Aiden about the basics of the demon realm.
"Well, let's start with the demon hierarchy. We will go train later." Aysel said as both she and Aiden sat down on the bed.
"Before we start, mother please tell me that you didn't forget about the basics just cause I was learning advanced level stuff." Aiden narrowed his eyes as Aysel did a fake cough.
"Yup, I forgot about it…"
"I knew it."
Aiden could only sigh at this as he looked at his mother to go on.
"Guess it isn't too late to start now."
Aysel had a sheepish expression on her face before she began explaining everything.
"At the top of the hierarchy is the demon king, your father, Drake. Then are the ten members of the order. The family head of the Urahara family you saw was one while the family heads of the Alroz and Nightingale family are two other members.
After them are the upper demon lords and the normal demon lords. Below them are just demon heads who help the higher ups. That's it for the hierarchy. Now let's talk about clothing. There is a tradition that during important occasions, demons will wear the same color of clothes as their element or elements. I don't think you need to know anything else." Aysel finished as Aiden shook his head.
"Why did father say that even upper demon lords can defeat the moon wolf even though everyone believes that only he could do it?" Aiden then asked as Aysel's expression darkened.
"Aiden, I don't think you want to know that," She averted her gaze while speaking. "Because the deeper you delve into these things, you will lose your innocence as a child."
"I already lost my innocence when I was born as a child to the most powerful man and woman in the entire demon realm." Aiden couldn't help but chuckle at his words as Aysel looked at him with widened eyes. "You can tell me anything you want mother."
"Then listen carefully. As you already know, the continent of Sephiroth is the strongest and biggest continent and there are three other continents weaker than this. That's not true. Astaroth is equal in power to this continent while Azlan and Yorokobe combined can rival us too."
"Is that true?" Aiden's eyes widened as he was finding out that the stuff printed in the books was wrong.
"The books are made so that people remain a little calmer. There is a huge chance that a war will be coming soon especially since the ruler of Astaroth wants to become the demon king. He also went as far as killing your father's brother in order to win the throne." Aysel's eyes turned sad as she remembered the moment Drake had gone berserk.
"That person can match Drake's strength and can even surpass him. That is why everyone is acting weak so when the time comes, they can choose their sides accordingly." She continued as Aiden was even more shocked. "So in the end, no one knows which side will actually win because people are still remaining neutral."
"I didn't know such things were happening..." Aiden could only mumble in fascination as Aysel had a dark smile on her face.
"Now that you know that, you should know another thing." She suddenly pointed towards him with her index finger. "You, Aiden, will have an important role in it.
