Elvenwrath: Tide of Darkness
Ferathvain, who travels under the alias of Elden, is an elven prince whose family has been living in exile for centuries. They have been tainted by the corruption of Balanthaur and are proclaimed abominations by the church.
Hunted by any man willing to take the job, his kind has been struggling for survival for as long as he can remember. That has turned him and others like him extremely xenophobic and suspicious of everyone.
After templars ambushed them in a village where they were supposed to be restocking traveling supplies and Elden's mother was captured, he was commanded by his father to keep riding until the next village, where they will regroup.
As Elden is traveling toward his destination, he receives a telepathic message from Glormiriell. The message is a plea for help, stating that coincidently enough, her family has been hunted down and captured by templars and that probably she is next. This came as a big shock to him as he was the last person she would ever speak to. Their relationship has not been the best, to say the least, as she is a witty but irritatingly cocky child that takes pleasure from other's suffering and especially Elden's.
Glormiriell was born on the same date as Elden; as bizarre as that may sound, it gets even more peculiar when you take into consideration that curse in these elves' makes it extremely unlikely for one to conceive a child. Be that as it may, this was considered an omen, and they were promised to each other by their parents for when they will come of age. The last time their families were in touch was when they were 11, so they haven't seen each other for the better part of 8 years.
Even though he doesn't care about her, Elden cares to uphold his house's promises toward his kind.
Will he recognize her after so many years? Will he suffer her presence now that the two of them will have to depend on each other? Or will the mysterious witch drive the wedge between them even further?
