Seeking Earth's Energy

Kai and Rachel's exit from the Divyakar Department leaves them both with a mix of awe and excitement.

Their guide, the teacher, walks them through a world of craftsmanship they had only ever imagined.

As he bids them goodbye, his voice holds the warmth of a mentor and the firmness of an instructor.

With a friendly wave, he says, "Remember, you've had a taste of the Professions Departments today. Now it's time for you to focus on your individual tasks. I'll take my leave too. Make the most of your day."

Kai feels his curiosity tugging at him as he watches the teacher depart. "Hey, before you go, could you let us know when our selective extra profession classes will start?"

The teacher says, "Oh, I nearly forgot to tell you! Your classes will start from next week on Monday, July 24th. Get ready, for the next step in your learning journey!"

With a final nod, the teacher walks away, leaving Kai and Rachel in the hallway.

"So, what's the plan now?" Rachel asks, adjusting her bag.

Kai ponders for a moment. "How about we head back to our Training Rooms? It's time to put those techniques into practice."

Rachel agrees with a nod. "Sounds like a plan."

As they make their way toward the Combat Department's Training Grounds, they exchange thoughts about their newly acquired techniques.

Kai turns to Rachel with curiosity. "Have you started practicing the technique we gained?"

Rachel's expression turns thoughtful. "Yeah, I've gone through the instructions and tried mimicking the footwork. But, honestly, it's easier said than done. The coordination isn't as straightforward as it looks on paper."

Curious about Kai's progress, she turns the question back to him. "And how about you?"

Kai sighs, a hint of frustration in his voice.

"I've read and understood the concepts, but there's a catch. To properly cultivate the technique or even take it to the initial stage, I need an environment that's rich in earth energy."

Rachel's eyes light up with an idea. "You know, Alden Sensei might be able to help with that. He's an expert in herbs and energy, right? If there's a place with earth energy, he might know."

Kai's face brightens up. "That's a great suggestion, Rachel. Thanks!"

With renewed determination, Kai swiftly shifts into a running stance. "I'm heading to Alden Sensei's place. You can go ahead to the Training Rooms. Catch you later!"

Rachel chuckles. "Sure thing. Just don't trip on your way there. See you!"

Kai shoots her a playful glare before dashing off toward Alden Sensei's location.

Meanwhile, Rachel turns in the direction of the Combat Department Training Grounds, eager to start her practice.

Kai's heart races as he covers the distance between the Divyakar Department and the Spirit Elixirist Department.

He is propelled by his eagerness to seek guidance on finding an environment rich in earth energy.

As he steps into the Spirit Elixirist Department, a familiar scent of herbs envelops him. The atmosphere is serene, and various rooms are filled with shelves neatly organized with herbs, plants, and alchemical tools.

Auburn-haired Alden Sensei is engrossed in reading ancient texts when Kai approaches. He looks up, his forest green eyes meeting Kai's gaze.

A warm smile creeps onto his lips. "Ah, Kai, right?"

Kai nods, his excitement tinged with a touch of nervousness.

"Yes, that's me. I have a question, Sensei. It's about finding an environment abundant in earth energy."

Alden Sensei motions for Kai to join him. "Of course, sit down. I'd be glad to help. Tell me more about what you're looking for."

Kai takes a seat, collecting his thoughts. "I'm trying to cultivate a technique, but it requires an environment with strong earth energy. I've heard that herbs thrive in such places, and I thought you might know where I could find one."

Alden Sensei leans back, his gaze contemplative. "You're absolutely right. Certain herbs thrive in areas with specific energy properties. A place rich in earth energy could indeed be beneficial for your cultivation."

Alden Sensei's gaze seems to drift momentarily as he muses. "There's a place that might suit your needs. It's a bit of a journey, but the rewards could be substantial."

Kai's eyes sparkle with interest. "Where is it, Sensei?"

Alden Sensei's voice is reassuring.

"It's a region known as the Naimisha Forest, located deep within Naimisharanya. It's a place where the bond between nature and energy is profound. The forest is brimming with various herbs, and the earth energy there is exceptionally potent."

Kai nods, absorbing the information. "Naimisha Forest in Naimisharanya. I'll remember that."

Alden Sensei's smile grows wider. "However, be prepared, Kai. The journey won't be a walk in the park. Naimisharanya is known for its challenges, both physical and spiritual. You'll have to navigate through dense vegetation, overcome potential obstacles, and attune yourself to the forest's energy to locate the Naimisha Forest."
