The Syrinxes & The Queen Bee

A lonely girl was deceived into being captured by a race of powerful winged mages to give birth to their kids. The hated fate of their Queen Bee was complicated by the appearance of other more powerful magicians who flew to their colony from another planet. Intro  Welcome to the universe of syrinxes - winged vampires, a multi-gender community. For two thousand years, powerful magicians have been in an endless war with the flesh-eaters Zirux, who outnumber them, so they recruited mortal people to help, colonizing 22 planets and forcing women to give birth to half-breed offspring for the needs of the war. The story begins with the first book, The Syrinxes of Zaria. The action takes place on an abandoned colony seven years away by space ship from the main stronghold of the planet Xantari, ruled by five ancient Archons.

Kamily waited for Erin all day, but he never showed up. In the evening she noticed a flying silhouette and was already delighted, but when she saw who was approaching, she panicked - it was too late to hide. Lariel catches sight of her and landed near.

"Hi, little Kami! Didn't expect to see me? Erin won't fly to you."

He slowly looking around came close and stared at her tensely. She unable to answer something hid her eyes and clinging to the tree. That wily syrinx took her by surprise again. He pierced her with his eyes slid up and down her body.

"Why he fascinated you, I wonder? - He sat down at her feet trying to look into her eyes. - Erin acted so ugly with me, as soon as he found out about our close acquaintance, he immediately rushed to you. Do you like him?"

Lariel continued to look around as if searching for something peering into space. Then he suddenly cheered up, got up and gently hugged her:

"It's strange that he protects you so much, he never seduced you, he only hugged and kissed you so… the baby is mine. I'm sorry it happened, I really want to become a father. Sooner or later, my brothers would have discovered you anyway, and they would have treated you the same way as I did. I feel that our connection with you is long-standing and the meeting was inevitable."

Lariel put his hand on her belly with a beatific smile and bent down to kiss it.

"It won't be long, my boy, and we'll meet!"

"Why did you come? - Kamily shrugged off his hands in annoyance. - I'm not going to have a relationship with you, I kicked you out five months ago. I want to be with Erin."

These words seemed to burn him and his eyes sparkled with a lilac flame.

"I will take you with me to Azaren, hide you and Erin will never see you again."

With deft movements he tied Kamily with some kind of ropes, attached to his clothes so quickly that she did not have time to break free and could not resist. He wrapped his arms around her and in a moment they were in the air rapidly gaining altitude.

"What are you doing? Let me go!" - she screamed and lost consciousness.

She woke up, lying on a huge white bed, covered with a patterned bedspread. The spacious bright room was flooded with sunlight from a window. Through an intricately designed stained glass door, colored beams illuminated the floor. Suddenly, the door opened and a handsome tall winged guy stalked into the room and asked in an affectionate tone:

"My love, are you awake?

"Who are you?" - Kamily blurted out dazedly clutching the coverlet in her hands in fright.

She just noticed that she was lying in bed completely naked under the blanket, and her big belly was sticking out.

"Your husband Lariel!" - The guy with lilac hair replied calmly. - "You forgot about everything again, poor thing. We met in the forest and fell in love with each other. You live with me in the heavenly city Azaren and we will soon have a baby. Come on, recall!"

She frowned looking at him from under her brows clutching the blanket to her chest.

"You do not trust me? - Lariel asked tensely sitting down on the bed next to her.

She curled up into a ball looking around as if she was trying to escape.

"You have wings and fangs… Are you a vampire?"

"Look, there is nothing to worry about, - Lariel looked into her eyes. - Listen, all I want is for you to be happy and have a healthy baby. I'll bring you clothes, get up and walk around the house."

Dressed in a loose beige gown the girl went out into a spacious hall with a high ceiling and looked around in amazement: high white walls decorated with relief patterns glittering with silver sparkles, five doors opened into the hall. In the center of the hall stood a long table with chairs pushed back. She rushed to look out the large window, tightly closed with thick hazy glass.

Outside the window a stunning view opened up: everywhere among the passing fluffy clouds on massive islands floating in the air, magnificent snow-white palaces sparkled, gray-winged creatures soared in the sky - everyone was in a hurry to do their own thing.

Lariel dressed in a tight-fitting lilac tunic stood silently at a distance leaning against the wall and looked at the marble floor glancing at the girl.

Kamily walked around the hall tugged at each door looking into each one: these were rooms with furniture.

"There's no way out of here?" - she asked her husband in confusion.

"Yes, but for those who have wings, - he replied smiling slyly. - The exit is just under the ceiling!"

"How about walking around the city?"

"You don't need to walk there, men will see you, they will start pestering you."

"I see: only guys fly there. I live in heaven, literally!"

Kamily continued to gaze fascinated at the creatures rushing by.
